Is there an EHP installer for Netweaver Java installations (Windows 32 bit Microsoft SQL Server based)?
We can only find 64 bit installers in the service marketplace.
No. Enhancement packages have additional functions not included in the standard release.
Eventually you will need to migrate to 64 bit, so you may as well get the process underway now!

Unable to Start EHP Installer Server on Windows 2008 -
Hi,
I have an SAP ECC 6.0 running on Windows 2008 x64 (64 bit)with MS SQL 2005. I have downloaded latest EHP Installer and the recommended JCE Policy and followed SAP Note 1245473. After extracting the SAR file I tried to start EHP Installer in <sid>adm using the command STARTUP.BAT "jce_policy_zip=<Policy-Zip file>" with Administrator Privilege but its not getting started.

"If your UAC on Windows 2008 is enabled (if you didn't switch it off) you have to start sapehpi using a security elevated cmd.exe:
Start -> execute -> cmd.exe --> press CTRLSHIFTENTER and confirm the dialog box.
This is due to the new security model in Windows 2008.
You can switch to ""Windows 2003 mode"" by executing ""msconfig"", scrolling down and launching ""disable UAC"" and reboot."

LR 4.2 still stalls during NEF processing after a few photos in 32-bit windows systems
Try to process on a 32-bit windows 7 system Nikon 5100 NEF files, now with LR 4.2.
The development still slows dramatically down after about 10-15 photos. Ordinary JPEG-files work fine.
LR 3.6 works fine with the same NEF files on the same computer system.Hi,

Purchase of Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Master Collection with 32-bit Windows system
I have issued an order for the Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Master Collection. However, I just realized that Premiere Pro CS5.5 and AfterEffect CS5.5 will not run on my computer since my system is only running on Windows 7 32-bit.
I am wondering if it is possible for me to use the CS5.5 Key to install Premiere Pro CS4 and AfterEffect CS4?
Or, I would have to purchase them separately?

EHP Installer does not find BI Java system on 2 System server
Hi folks,
I have a 2-node MSCS cluster with a standalone BI 7.0 ABAP system, as well as a standalone BI 7.0 Java system. To be clear, these are seperate systems, with seperate SID's, installed MCOD in one Oracle instance (A neccessity for J2EE Authentication purposes)
I have run the EHP installer against my ABAP system, and completed (Not without significant effort/time) the EHP1_SP3 installation there. Now, I have cleaned out the EHPI directory and want to run the installer again, but it once more comes across ONLY the ABAP instance, it does not find the Java instance.
I am starting it as indicated, with the:
startup.bat "jce_policy=H:\EHPI\..." and I've tried starting the GUI manually and through the JNLP web start, and both give the same result.
How do I get the installer to recognize the second system on this box?
Any help is appreciated.

What is the plan for 64-bit Windows?
The 11G Express Edition Beta installed without warnings or errors on a Windows 7 64-bit virtual machine. However after install, the following error appears multiple times in the alert log:
OER 7451 in Load Indicator : Error Code = OSD-04500: illegal option specified
O/S-Error: (OS 1) Incorrect function. !
This error is repeats every 10 seconds in the alert log.
I understand that this is most likely because of the 64-bit OS. However, it is almost impossible to buy a Windows system today that is not 64-bit. If the plan is to only provide 11G Express Edition Beta in a 32-bit version for Windows, I think it should at least install and run properly in 32-bit mode on current 64-bit Windows operating systems. Or is a 64-bit version for Windows in the works?

I probably obscured my question with the alert log error code. I changed the subject to my real question: What is the plan for 64-bit Windows?
Since almost all windows systems are rapidly moving to 64-bit, will 11G Express be made available in a package (either 32-bit or 64-bit) which installs and runs correctly on a 64-bit windows system? Should we report 64-bit related bugs seen with the 32-bit install package so they can be fixed or is a 64-bit package coming? Thanks!I don't dispute that you can do the install of 11G Express on a 64-bit Windows OS. It even appears to complete successfully. The database opens and you can connect to it.
However I seriously question if the underlying database processes are running correctly. My alert log is filled with hundreds of the errors that I listed in my original post.
If you have posted that you have a successful install on 64-bit Windows, could you please check your alert log and let us know if you are seeing errors, or if everything is running correctly. The alert log is the main error log for the database. You can find it in C:\OracleXE\app\oracle\diag\rdbms\xe\xe\trace\alert_xe.log. Open this file in notepad and check for errors.
Based on the errors that I am seeing, I ask again: What is the plan for 64-bit Windows? Does anyone from Oracle moderate this forum? Is 11G XE supposed to run correctly on 64-bit Windows, or what is the plan for supporting the almost universal move to 64-bit windows operating systems?

I was told that 'Unfortunately Pentium 3's do not support running 64 bit operating systems.'
However, I really noticed many other people say that I should run a hardware reading program, such as 'SecurAble' to be sure that my processor will be capable to run 64Bit operating systems or not.
Thus, if [b]only Pentium 3's [/b]do not support running 64 bit operating systems, then there is no need from running such a program(screen shot below).
I really run this program using Windows 7(64Bit) with HP Laptop Core i5. And this is the reslut:

This processor does offer 64-bit modes of operation. This means that this system is able to run the significantly more secure 64-bit versions of Microsoft's Windows XP and Vista operating systems.
The biggest challenge for 64-bit Windows systems is the fact that existing 32-bit device drivers cannot be used by the 64-bit operating system kernel. So if you do plan to try switching to 64-bit Windows, you should be sure to have a means for reverting
to 32-bit operation if your system's hardware turns out to be incompatible with 64-bit operation. Many people have reverted to 32-bit operation after bravely giving 64-bits a try for a short time.

Try downloading the trial. It ought to detect that you have a 64-bit system.
You aren't using Vista, are you? PSE 13 requires at least win 7 and I think a few folks with vista have gotten a similar error message on trying to install it. -
