EHP Installtion error

Hi all ,
Iam installing EHP1 SP 05 for NW7.0 (SANDBOX BW and EPsystem) . Its in the process of "DEPLOY_ONLINE_DEPL"
Error occuring during the ADOBE upgrade
Error: Aborted: development component 'DocumentServicesLicenseManager'/'com.adobe'/'Adobe Systems'/'802.20090130041235.523727'/'1', grouped by :
SDM could not start the J2EE cluster on the host nivriti! The online deployment is terminated.
A timeout occured during the cluster running verification.
(message ID: com.sap.sdm.serverext.servertype.inqmy.extern.EngineApplOnlineDeployerImpl.performAction(DeploymentActionTypes).STARTUP_CLUSTER)
For the above error found note(739190) and increased the SDM timeout for 2hrs. But still problem continues.
So experts help guide us co continue successful installation.

Could any one help me in solving this issue please............
I have installed CI and started DB installtion in windows 2003 server with oracle10g
At the database statistics i got struck and could not rectify why this error happens

I suggest that you contact Adobe customer support - we can't deal with installation issues like that at all, and they provide a free service to cover that.

DB Installtion error at update statistics

Hi,
During DB installation at Update database statistics Installation error.
Error shows that

Kristene,
I had the same problem installing XI/Oracle on Fedora Core 2 Linux on my laptop.
I only went around this in marking this step as completed in the installation file. (DB statistics step is not essential for install).
I guess, if you want to run a proffesional install, then you should open an OSS.

is known issue, see Metalink ID 980602.1. Problem is fuser on AIX. IBM has released AIX patch to solve the issue: IZ67400: FUSER GIVES INCORRECT PIDS WITH -X OPTION.
Another workaround is:
As root:
1) rename fuser
mv /usr/sbin/fuser /usr/sbin/fuser_renamed
2) touch /usr/sbin/fuser
3) chmod +x /usr/sbin/fuser
As oracle software owner:
1) Try to install the patchset (fuser can now return nothing, hence the Installer should continue)
After successful install, as root:
1) rename fuser back to its original name
mv /usr/sbin/fuser_renamed /usr/sbin/fuser

Thanks :-) it got solved.I reckon the issue was with privileges.Addded a key,which was missing from registry.Re-started the system and tried again.The installation was done successfully .

Hello Bert,
please check the steps of the first part of the following site to uninstall the failed installation --> link
After that please check your services-file under C:WINDOWSsystem32driversetc that there aren't any entries like NSP left.
At the end please restart your computer.
The reason for an error code=200 is often an missing network connection.
So is your computer already connected to an network and if not did you install the loopback-adapter first?
Also you should deactivate all installed firewall- or/and antivirus-programs while installing.

EHP Installation error

When I am in step 4 (Checks) of the ABAP installation phase I getthe following error:

i sucessfully install xi on my pc nad but i dont know how to configure xi browser
when i open internet explorer and type http://localhost:50000/rep/start/index.jsp then 500 internal server error mess comes. pls help me in this matter if any find this solution pls mail me at [email protected]

Check to see if http://localhost:50000 comes back with a page like "under construction" or something other than a 404. That will tell you if your web server is working properly.
Check that your java stack loaded properly. Are you using windows or UNIX? Did you install both ABAP & Java stacks? Could be a lot of things, could you post some additional information? Look through the logs in \usr\sap\<sid>\SCS00\work and/or C:\usr\sap\<sid>\DVEBMGSxx\work. Also, check the userids created such as j2ee_admin and ensure the pw is working.

SBOP Dashboards installtion error

Hello,
I am trying to install BO Dashboard 4.0 (Package # 51041024) on windows 2008 sever R2.
When set up is run it checks for pre-requisites and throws an error
missing critical pre requisites of
Flash player (version 9 or higher) and
Windows Version
Server has 10.3 flash player and server 2008 is supported platform. Ticket has been opened with SAP support for about a week now but no solution yet.
Reproduction;
When I installed on my local desktop (windows 7) it throws an error of missing MS Office where I already have office 2010 installed.
Tried installing BO Dashboard 4.1 (package # 51041684) but still stuck with same error.
Installing previous version of office and reinstalling a dashboard is not an option.
Just curious to know if anyone has faced this scenario and/or any work around.

When I updated the BusinessObjects Enterprise 4 with latest service pack and applied patch the "windows version" error went away and then for flash player, downloading and installing flash player using Internet Explorer along with active X for IE took care of flash player error. After that dashboard setup ran successfully without error.
It's kind of strange that SAP support could not help and we had unpleasant client experience.

TS1286 installtion error while updating mac os x10.7

i am using mac book pro (mac os x versionn 10.7) and when i try to update the system it says "cannot be updated due to unknown error "

Have you tried booting into the Recovery HD to check/repair your disk. Restart holding Command+R - once booted select Disk Utility and then select Macintosh HD and click on 'repair disk' If it fixes anything click repair disk again until you get a clean pass. Whilst in Disk Utility you could also 'repair disk permissions' With Macintosh HD still selected click on 'repair disk permissions'. Once done, restart as normal from the Apple menu.
Then try updating again using the 'combo', available here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1582
If you still have problems you could try a Safe Boot: restart holding down the shift key until you see the grey progress bar. Once booted restart as normal from the Apple menu.

Repository installtion error inJCAPS 51

I am getting "Error while expanding eManager\eManager.war" error while trying to install repository.
The ports are available. Firewalls are cleared.
Dont know how to debug.
It will be great if anybody provide info to debug the error.

The file eManager.war is most likely corrupted. I would try removing it from the repository and reinstalling it from the .sar file.

Full installtion error

   i have an error in the full installation screen..i am trying to make the rate type under register..but still the rate type under device is also being asked...
i have assigned my rate type as register based in spro
but y the full installation requires register data...does it deals any thing with register group..
