Hi ,
Seems that you have not defined the queue in SAP system. Please make sure that you have uncar all the components and put it under /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in directory.
in SPAN load all the components via support packs-> load components from application server in 000 client and then define the queue in a order so that you can import SPs in system.
Thanks..

Release BI 7.0 front-end add-on for SAP GUI 7.10, Support Package 700
Hi guys,
In SAP note 1238872 the release of new support package has been mentioned (Quote: "Download the BI 7.0 front-end add-on for SAP GUI 7.10, Support Package 700 from the SAP Service Marketplace.")
So, can someone tell me, when this Support Package will be released?
(At the moment the last version provided in download area is 6.02)
Kind regards
MarkusThanks, but my question was not how can I workaround, cause I was able to read that note. (Unfortunatly the workaround solves the problem for the query designer only and the error still persists when executing the query)
However, can some one please tell me, when the Support Package 7.00 will be released? -

Question on Appying NW Support Package Stack
Please note that both individual Support Packages and SP Stacks are Non-cumulative. This means that, when you import Support Packages, then you import a gap less series of Support Packages and, if
you use SP Stacks, you also import these without a gap. The only exception is the Support Package for SPAM itself. & Java support packages which comes in SCA format.
Uday, Did you try to copy from what I posted?.. the correct procedure would be to direct to the original link.. not CTRLC & CTRLV!

Debasis.

Support Package Stacks Best Practice
Good morning all,
We're at the start of a mySAP ERP implementation and we'd like to set a strategy as regards how we implement SP Stacks.
We are only using the base mySAP ERP functionality; we're not using the HR, Retail, Public Services extensions. Because of this, I'd like to know what is the best practice for applying SP Stacks in our environment.
Do we need to install the SPs for the HR, Retail, etc.. extensions to keep the SP Stack consistent, or do we simply install only the base SPs that we require?
Any help is greatly accepted.
Thx,
Arwel.Hi Kobby,
Thanks for your information.
The Support Package Stacks for 7.0 version is 15
I would like to know the Stacks for SAP Solution Manager - 4.0
Version.

XI Install - ABAP Support Packs + J2EE Support Package install
Hi
I am wondering what is recommended sequence for installing/upgrading kernel, ABAP Support Packages & J2EE Support Packages for XI installation.
Should we install/upgrade kernel, ABAP Support Packages & J2EE Support Packages before XI 3.0 is installed? Or should we install these only after installing and completing post install steps of XI 3.0.
The Web AS install guide recommends to install the patches immediately after installing it, but prerequisite for XI install is Web AS SR1 i.e SP9(ABAP + J2EE.
Any suggestions in this regard would be highly appreciated.
Regards
ChanduHi Shravan,
Thanks for the response.
I have already gone through the note. According to the note, I assume the following sequence has to be followed:
Install SAP Web AS (ABAP)
Install SAP Web AS (Java)
XI Install & post install steps
Support Pack Stack for ABAP & Java
XI Patches
However, when carrying out post install steps after XI installation, I am unable to perform some steps. Also, there is an issue with J2EE engine after XI install.
Further, I have installed and completed post install steps as per following successfully:
Install SAP Web AS (ABAP)
Install SAP Web AS (Java)
XI Install
Support Pack Stack for ABAP & Java
Post install steps
XI Patches
What are the implications of applying ABAP & Java patches before XI install or before completing post install steps.

how can I solve this situation??
Thank you very much.Hi,
When you look the "OCS Package Directory: New Packages" it's possible to see some SP pre-requisit which is no longer support your release. You can see " X" in front of those SP..
Please see the SAP note " Note 1064635 - SAP ERP Enhancement Packages: SP Stacks Release Info Note " carefully. This note update regularly and you can find the equivalent support package for those pre-requisit SP which is no longer valid for your system.
Find out the equivalent SP as per your system and apply those equivalent in place of those pre-requisit SP.
With Regards

Hello,
I have a couple of questions regarding EHP4.
We are planning to install EHP4 for ERP 6.0 in our ECC server. Will this also install EHP1 for Netweaver on them?
Also, we have a portal running on a different server using the ECC server as the backend. Will applying EHP1 for Netweaver (as part of EHP4 for ERP6.0) on the ECC server have any implication on the portal? Or is it mandatory that we upgrade our portal also to EHP1 for Netweaver?
Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
AjayHi Ajay,
As part of the EHP4 installation in the ECC Server the basis will get automatically updated to q NW EHP1 level (ABAP).
The EHP1 is not mandatory for the Portal from an ERP EHP4 perspective - you can choose weather you update (EHP1) or not - therefore there are 2 different production versions offered in Maintenance Optimizer.
More information can be found in the guides via: http://service.sap.com/ehp-inst

Korean Language Support Package required for Reader but not Acrobat?
One of our departments on campus has created a form that is causing some users to get a message prompting them to download the Korean Language Support Package in order to fill in the form fields.
When I originally tested this in Acrobat Pro 9 I didn't get any errors. Another user also reported the issue recently (two this week). So we tested it again, but this time used both Reader 9 and Reader X -- both programs were generating this message to download the language pack. The form appears to be completely in English with no Korean characters. It uses fairly standard fonts and I didn't see any embedding or encoding issues with the fonts.
Aside from having end users download a Korean Language Support Pack to view a PDF that doesn't seem to contain any Korean, are there any other options out there without recreating the form from scratch? Here is a list of the fonts used in the PDF. The only types of encoding are Ansi and Identity-H (which I expanded in the SS above), with the latter fonts being embedded within the PDF.
Any ideas? The form is linked below. Thanks in advance for your replies.
Here is a link to the PDFSOLVED
While our problems differ, my solution may still be relevant.
My culprit was a rogue font in an embedded Visio drawing. I identified and located the font using the "List text using non-embedded fonts" Preflight analysis in Acrobat 9.4 Pro. I checked the encoding of each non-embedded font and discovered that Arial Unicode MS used Korean font encoding (specifically, KSCms-UHC-H). See screenshot below. Doubleclicking on one of the font properties highlighted the offending text in the pdf.
I went to that location in the source file, which happened to be in the first embedded Visio drawing (shown above). I double clicked the drawing, selected all, and selected Arial font. Then I regenerated the pdf and viewed it in Reader X. The Korean language pack error message did not appear and all Visio drawings displayed normally.
I would recommend using the Acrobat preflight tools to locate text or objects with incorrect font encoding within your PDF or form, then surgically striking (or carpet bombing) the affected location(s) in the source files with embedded/supported fonts.
Hope this helps.
