I'am in process of upgrading EHP4 , i have downloaded and placed in EPS/in directory . I;am trying to apply patching using saint . READXMLFILE tab is missing. Iam unable read xml file..
I have upgraded kernal 700 to 701
spam/saint to 70136
Please provide suggestions....

I have generated the valid xml file. In SAINT StackXML tab is missing. I tried with StackConfiguration tab but no use. I was already maintained RFC connection from solution manager to Satellite system and entries in BCOS_CUST also maintained.

How to enforce 32 bit runtime installation on 64 bit systems for VS 2010?

I have a VB6 application that uses a .Net dll that wraps the Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2010 functionality. I make an installer with VS 2010 that has a dependency on the Crystal Reports for Net 4. However, on 64 bit systems only the 64 bit runtime is installed, while I need the 32 bit installer. As I add the Net .dll as a file to the installer probably it is not detected that this .dll has been compiled for x84 systems only. Is there a workaround for this? Could I for instance hack the bootstrap package?

Why are you mixing COM and .NET? Time to upgrade to .NET completely.....

Opera 12 instead of 26 installs on 64 bit system

Archwiki: "In early December 2014, Opera version 26 was released, but only for 64-bit systems: with this milestone, the old proprietary Presto layout engine is replaced with the more modern and open-source Blink engine. The previous 12.16 version is still supported for 32-bit systems."
Has there been some change because I'm getting version 12 on 64bit when I pacman -S opera?

EHP4 installation on 64 bit

Hi,
We are currently installing EHP4 on ecc6.0 with oracle 10g and win2003 server(64 bit)
We have downloaded all package from maintenance optimizer and also the XML file as mentioned in installation guide .
After starting sapehpi installer we are getting error at EHP_INCLUSION phase the error in the sapehpi tool says
*Severe error(s) occured in phase PREP_EXTENSION/EHP_INCLUSION!*
*Last error code set: Unknown macro 'COMP@SPLevel'*
however checking the log in EHPI folder the error says

After Effects CS6 and Premiere Pro CS6 require a 64-bit operating system and processor to be installed and run.
If you subscribe to Creative Cloud but use a 32-bit computer system, you will not be able to download and install Premiere Pro CS6 or After Effects CS6.
This issue primarily affects users on the Windows operating system, since all supported versions of the Mac OSX operating system are able to run 64-bit applications.

I used msconfig, first disabling startup items, -same result.
Enabled all startup items, disabled all non-microsoft services - AE worked!
I re-enabled each service in turn until AE crashed.
The fault was related to an item for a video streaming device I have in my house. It was Monsoon-multimedia's Vulkano Service. Sometimes under the old name of Hava, this is an app that acts like a sling-box to send my Cable TV to my screen. It does load a couple of virtual devices in device manager, and uses a proprietary codec.
I uninstalled the vulkano streamer application and rebooted the external Vulkano device. I reinstalled the Vulkano and verified it connected to the device and could stream. Once it did, I tried AE again and IT WORKED!
I wonder if simply rebooting the Vulkano would have fixed it. Its like opening the garage door to turn on the refridgerator.

EHP4 Installation "Error stopping SAP system"

Hi All,
We are installing EHP4 on ECC6 on V6R1.During the downtime phase "MAIN_SWITCH/STOPSAP_XCNV" when the EHPI is trying to stop SAP system 'stopsap SID(UBP) INSTANCE(00) WAIT(YES) WAITTIME(600) STARTUPSRV(YES)' it failing.I tried executing this command from the terminal.I am getting error "Executable directory could not be determined".
Any Idea where thing are getting wrong? I have checked the path and its pointing to right dir.

do you have the following 2 parameters set in instance & start profile ?
DIR_CT_RUN = $(DIR_EXE_ROOT)/run
DIR_EXECUTABLE = /usr/sap/<sid>/SYS/exe/run
if not, that is the reason ...

EHP4 Installation: Error in Phase PREP_INPUT/KX_CPYORG

Hi!
I try to execute a EHP4 installation for SAP ECC system with EhP Installer.
The programm stopps after several repeat attempts in the the phase PREP_INPUT/KX_CPYORG.
The error I get is:

After rebooting my Windows Vista 64 bit system, could not access iTunes; after uninstalling I tried reinstalling, but it has been running for more than 24 hrs. Should I cancel installation?

I had been updating my Windows Vista 64 bit system and as a result of a problem, had to reboot my system. Afterwards, I was no longer able to access iTunes. I got a message stating that there was a problem with some of the files associated with the application. A phone rep at Apple's Customer Service provided me with emails linking instructions on completely uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes. I did the uninstall, then checked for lingering iTunes files and couldn't completely remove some, but tried intalling the latest version of iTunes. It has been running for roughly 24 hours. The status bar is green all the way across, and when I try to cancel, I get the following message: "Are you sure you want to cancel iTunes installation?" I keep hitting "no," but am staring to wonder if there is a problem with the install. Should it take this long if I have roughly 134 gigs of music? I can still see the music in my computer's C drive, so I am worried that there is an error, perhpas because I didn't clear out all the lingering C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\ and all the lingering C:\Program Files\iTunes\. Any thoughts?

It is not just the HP. I have 3 HP computes and 2 Dell computers. 2 of the HP and 1 Dell suffer the iTunes internet block. Took me a while to figure it out also. But, the one thing that is different on the Dell, is that I can leave iTunes installed and not open it and everything works. As soon as I open it, internet access goes down. BUT secure sites (https:) works fine.

I've installed three times with no luck. I downloaded the Creative Cloud Packager off the licensing site: https://licensing.adobe.com. I unpacked and choose my applications. The install seemed to be successful, but I don't so any of the applications anywhere.

You will need to install the package now. Please follow the instructions mentioned in the below articles

Safe to delete files after Master Suite CS6 installation on Windows 7 , 64 bit system?

I installed Master Suite CS6 on a new Windows 7 , 64 bit system computer.
The computer has a small (120GB) SSD which has the operating system, and I'm trying to install the rest of my programs and data on larger, standard drives.
I just noticed that under C:/Users/Robert/Adobe CS6, I have a 6,504,448 KB MasterCollection_CS6_LS16.7Z file (Type 7Z File) and a MasterCollection_CS6_LS16 1031KB Application file
Can I delete the 6.5 GB 7z file or is that needed for operation?
What about the smaler one - is that for launching the applications or was that just to launch the installers?
I also have an 8.16 GBAdobe CS6 Master Collection folder on my Desktop (which is actually a 1TB regular hard drive as opposed to C:)
Inside this folder are two directories: Fonts (211 MB with lots of fonts inside), and Adobe CS6 (with subdirectories deploy; packages; payloads; resources; and a Set-up application 2163 KB
DO I need to save that folder, or was that just for installing the Master Suite?

Just to clarify - in terms of backing up one set of these, would that just be so I had it on disk and didn't need to re-download from Adobe if the installation got corrupted somehow? Or do I need a backup for some other reason?

SGEN after EHP4 Installation on New system

We have completed the ehp4 installation on a ehp4 ready system. After the installation we need to run SGEN as per the guide, however which option we should choose in SGEN
generate all objects or generation after an system upgrade ? we had run the generation after an system upgrade and it completed very soon.
Please advice , should we run generate all objects for selected components ? Also we have not used SGEN after the ehp4 ready installation.

As of now you installed ERP 6.0 only you need to upgrade again to EHP4. SGEN you can run with first option.
Please disable archivelog...otherwise your disk will full.

If you have problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop

* Firefox 3.6.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
* Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install
* Install the new version that you have downloaded

ITunes 64 bit installer rolls back action on win 8 64 bit system

I do not know what i am doing wrong, I just bought a new win 8 64 bit system and iTunes keeps rolling back before the install completes. I have tried running it as administrator and turning off firewall but it did not work. Please Help.

Apple iPad appears to be under "Portable Devices" section and driver is from Microsoft. There is no driver under USB-section and instructions that provided in first reply I have gone thru and they are no go with this problem - they are more likely for older iPod etc devices and dot with issue to deal with 64bit/32bit things. The picture (image.jpg) gives me unfortunately just general error...

I have a 64 bit system running Win 7, but the installation does not recognise the 64 bit download as suitable for 64 bit system.

I am trying to install Itunes on my new Laptop and it is a 64 bit system. I have downloaded the 64 bit Itunes and when I try to install it, the error is that the program is not suitable for 64 bit system.
The same happens for 32 bit download of Itunes.

I have this problem also. I have not had trouble installing any previous version of iTunes. I am mystified why now it is a problem.
