EHS - Near Miss report

Dear Experts,
In Incident/Accident log entry we can catagorise the Reportable or Fatal accidents.
As of now we categorise the Major or Minor accidents based on the reportable and non reportable accidents.
I.e If we tick the check box as Reportable then it is considered as Major otherwise it is Minor accident.
Now we want one more category as Near Miss accident.
How it can be mapped through system. Whether standard SAP provides such reporting or not?

Standard SAP doesn't provide this as available reporting, but it has given enough flexibility to take care of it.
You can very well configure an additional Incident / Accident log "Entry Type" as say NMS(near-miss) under "specify incident accident log entry types" in EHS-IHS spro.
All entries created under the NMS entry type can be fetched under the standard report of "List Incident Accident Log entries" (t-code : EHSK_D_IAL)

If you want to add 3 radio buttons, then first of all you have to append one field in EHHSSS_INC_BASIC_INFO_ALL_D structure with Fixed Domain values.
Then you need to enhance EHHSS_INC_REC_NRM_QAF_V3_BSCI component Configuration.
In that Configuration you need to add field with display type Radio Button Group, with column count 3.
Kindly refer the following snap for the same.

EHS - CG36 - Import report - Set MSDS version from key file data

Hi.
This is in reference to thread EHS - CG36 - Import report - how to define MSDS version in key file?
I'm faced with the same client requirement, came across this discussion, and wondering if there was a solution to this.
I'm on ECC6.0. My client requests to retain the Version of the MSDS at the time of export (CG54 Dok-X, VER key file data) when it gets imported to another system (CG36). Example (similar to Roy's): If the reports in export system are 1.0 and 2.0, then they must be created in the import system the same, not 1.0 and 1.1.
Apparently, as Christoph has stated, the standard CG36 Import process doesn't make use of the VER key file data besides storing it into the Report's Additional Info (DMS Class charact.).
I tried to get around this via the user exit. In the IMPORT fm, I set the version/subversion of the report to be created but the C1F3 fm that does the actual report creation just ignores it. If you've done a similar approach, what have I missed? I'm also afraid if I have to clone the C1F3 fm...
I appreciate your thoughts and inputs.

Solution is to incorporate the logic used by tc CG36VEN, that is, the process of performing a direct table ESTDH update after the new report is saved into the database.

Missing reporting point backflushes...

Hi,
Can anybody tell,
How to carry out the missing reporting point backflushes?
As i am backflushing the header material but the system give me the error message that ''GR quantity > RP quantities: Temporary reqmts inconsistency possible''
When i am clicking ''post with correction'', the child materials are not copied to component list.

I think the Plant might not be Activated for "Negative Stocks",
Activate the Plant and storage location for Negative Stock, it might work
Get the help of MM consultant, this setting comes in SPRO MM
Do the trial in sandbox or IDES then try in Production server

HID interface misses reports if mouse is connected on the same hub

Hello all,
I have designed a usb based oscilloscope for my device (HID Full Speed). It works fine. But when i connect the mouse to the same hub as the device, my device starts missing reports frequently. I have verified it both through my own software and a third party
software (USBLyzer) which shows that the PC doesn't poll my device every millisecond, which it should.
I have searched thouroughly but didn't find anyone facing the same problem. It would be very nice of you if you could help me identify and correct the problem. I have tested it on different PC also

Your hub is probably running out of "juice". If you power the hub via the USB cable connected to your PC then it can draw a maximum of 500 mA which it must distribute between its own electronics, the CRO and the mouse. To solve the problem you must use an
external power supply for the hub (if it has a suitable socket) or purchase a different hub that comes with its own power pack.

SAP EHS : Generation of Report for change in substance data

hi Experts,
i want to generate report for the change in any substance specific data, editing of the substance. the report should contain the date, time, user details who has done this changes, what is changed, what is new value etc. how can i do that?
i want to generate change document for substance.
i dont want any ABAP interaction for creation of reports.
can i create by using some t codes or just by clicking to the options.
please help me out in this.

Did you check in the standard EHS documentation the paragraph: Creation of Change Documents for Specifications.
It is under Specification editing > Engineering Chg Mgmt.

EHS : Creating new report parameter/ symbol for MSDS cover sheet

Hi,
I am working on the SAP EHS module.
I have a requirement in which I need to have the country name (description) on the MSDS cover sheet instaed of the country key which is presently coming in there.
As per the standard settings, the report parameters available for the country point towards the country key only (char 3) i.e T005-land1 and not T005T-landx(char 15).
I understand that I need to create a new customer report parameter in the customising which will pick the data for the coversheet country.
My problem is that I am not sure where exactly do I have to write the code for this report symbol/parameter expansion.
I am not sure about the trigger for the expansion routine.
Please guide me if anyone has worked on this kind of an issue.
I will greatly appreciate your suggestions on this one.

Missing reports in Report and Layout manager

Hi Experts,
i need to convert with Crystal Converter some PLD Tax reports.
The problem is that under Tax Reports tree, in report and layout manager, reports of typecode 'RB01' are missing!
Why are they missing??
Is there any other way to convert them even if missing?
i can see them in the tax report form, selecting tax register block and press ok.
From the print layout designer they are listed.
Please help.

I have also add the Role, Reporting Service Point.
The Reporting Services Configuration Manager is joined to my database ReportServer. The database is native and log-in as Windows Account, my admin account.
There is more I can checked ?

Mountain Lion Missing Report Safari Bugs Menu Item?

I recall a Bug reporting menu option in Safari which seems to have disappeared in the latest version in Mountain Lion. Or am I missing it?
Perhaps the Apple folks think Safari is now perfect. ;-)

EHS for OSHA reports

Hello Gurus -
I am on an SAP HR project. Our client is having us implement EHS for the single purpose of being able to generate OSHA reports. What sub modules of EHS do we need to implement at minimum to generate the reports? I am a little confused as to if we need the Injury & Illness log or the Accident & Incident module or both. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

I believe OSHA reporting is linked to "incident reporting" (that means workplace safety) and Incident report is managed in SAP EHS Industrial Hygiene and Safety (EHS-IHS).

SPUMG missing reports

Hi,
I'm trying to made an upgrade & unicode conversion from 4.7E Ext 2 to SAP ERP6 ehp4.
I'm in the SPUMG phase and i check the repport missing and there is 2 report witch is not present in my system:
BEV1\CA_DEL_OBSELETE_BEV1
BEV1\CA_DEL_OBSELETE_BEV3
I have read note 897577 ( this note is not incoporable ) and inside there is only solution for ECC5 and ECC6....
What soulhd i supose to do ?

I have run the SPUMG transaction and i have some problem with name tab ( red button in this section )
I have make préparation like discribe in CU&UC guide ( runing the report :RADNTLANG.
But The report finish and there is like information : 62 nametabs for 76 nametabs succesfully generated.
The report list all the nametab where the generation aborted...i supose that's why i have the RED button in the SPUMG.
What i need to do for solve/generate theses nametabs?

Missing Report Parameter

I just upgraded from Visual Studio 2003 to Visual Studio 2008 and am fighting through the issues with Crystal Reports and the Crystal Reports Viewer.
I am programmatically setting the Report Parameters because I don't want to prompt the user for them. This is the line of code:
report.SetParameterValue("ReportNickname", "MyReportNickName");
This was fine in VS 2003, but now the viewer comes back empty except for an error message saying the report parameters are missing.
Any ideas??

SOLVED.
The problem was the order of operations. Previously, I would set the parameter and THEN set the report data source. This worked in VS 2003, but not in VS 2008 (and probably not VS 2005). So I changed the code to do report.SetDataSource() first, THEN do report.SetParameterValue().

EHS datasources missing for ODS's 0EIH_DS01, 0EIH_DS02, 0EIH_DS03

We are trying to activate BI business content for EHS using ODS's 0EIH_DS01, 0EIH_DS02 and 0EIH_DS03. When we look in the R/3 side we can't find datasources for these three ODS.
Are we missing some plug-ins on the R/3 side? Where can we get the delivered R/3 datasources?
