EHS Substance Volume Tracking RREGCH_VT program

Hi experts,
I am using SVT for volume calculating in the PRO scenario and it is not working as desired.
1. I execute RREGCH_FILL to get data from the specifications property tree and it is working properly.
2. I executre RREGCH_VT to get aggregate volume information but it is not getting any results.
The configuration I have done for "Specify Selection Criteria for Volume Tracking":
REACH / PRO / AUFK / AUTYP / 1 / Include / Equal to / 10
REACH / PRO / AUFK / AUTYP     / 2 / Include / Equal to / 40
REACH / PRO / MKPF / VGART     0 / Include     / Equal to / WF
Do you know any reason why this can be?

Una consulta colega, mira dentro del arbol propiedades, en la clase de SVT, no me figura la sub-clase SAP_EHS_1023_057, que es una clase del sistema STANDAR de SAP.
Trabajo con el sistema ECC 6.0 y Package 09.
Debería estar, no la puedo visualizar con CL01, CL02, CL03, no me permite visualizarla, ni modificarla, ni crearla, nada; lo raro es que deberia aparecer sus caracteristicas, pero para el sistame no existe esta clase, ni sus caracteristicas y esto no puede ser por que es un elemento del Standar.
Con otro colega de otra copañia verficamos y en su sistema si esta por defecto esta Clase: "Registration (Company Specific): SAP_EHS_1023_057".
Que puede estar pasando, por que mi sistema no reconoce esta clase del standar?
Cualquier idea o comentario, te lo agradecería.

We are implementing SVT and found out that the monitoring report (CBRC20) gives the user not enough information.
F.i. we want to include the description of the tracked substance.
I could not find a place in configuration, nor a user exit, where additional columns can be added to the report.
So I wonder, is there a way to add additional columns to the CBRC20 monitor?

In order to get more information, Layout need to be Changed. In CBRC20, Choose Dropdown Menu and Select u201CChange Layoutu201D. In that Choose field u201CProduct Nameu201D from Column Set and transfer it to Displayed Column. u201CProduct Nameu201D is the specific field that will display the Description of the Tracked Substance.

Can somebody give me the basic concept of substance volume tracking ? I have a scenario if a company has register for x tons for consumping a particular substance Y in a year. In the market there are various variant of materials are available for the particular substance. The company can purchase and consump any type of material which is avaialble in the market.
My question , The threshold value that we are providing in the SM, is it applicable to only one material or to all the materials which belongs to the substance (Y).

Hi, SVT is combining SD data (on material basis) with EH&S data (on substance basis). All logistic processes are working with materials. All EH&S - and this includes SVT - processes are based on substances.
The link between SD and EH&S is the specificaton, in which you assign n materials to one specification. This can only be a n:1 relationship, your data model is incorrect if you assign one material to more than one specification.
Each material has to be classified as SVT relevant. This is the trigger for the SD procceses of sales, distribution and production of materials. Using the link of the material assignment in the specification, the standard composition of the relevant materials is found. This is the trigger for the substance based SVT.
In SVT customizing you can define threshold values. Online and offline checks of SVT are verifying against these values and create warnings and process blocks, based on the registered tonnage for each substance. Moreover, all data is archived for later analysis.

Track Parameter Program - won't load external

I use a couple of external synths. I like using the Track Parameter Program to assign the patch by checking the box. Even though the Parameter Program box is checked, Logic 8 requires that I check it again in order assign the patch. Logic 7 always loaded the patch whenever I clicked on (or scrolled to) the Track of the external instrument.
Kinda of annoying since I have to remember to check the box each time I open the project in Logic 8.

Same problem here since Logic8. I even used Programchange messages to change tempo by transforming them into pitchbend data which controlled a Tempo-object. Same problem with volume controller data etc.
My whole setup does not work the way it used to because of this issue. Is it a bug or a new feature?
I select tracks with a usb-midi-controller. So, there is no mouse available to click the Paramater on stage during performance. Big problem. Will this be fixed with an update?

I would try in oreder:
- Resetting the iPod:
Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restoring the iPod via iTunes. First from backup and if problem persists, restore to factory defaults/new iPod.

Initial filling of logistic table is not working for Volume Tracking

I have set up the TSCA 12B scenario for volume tracking. When starting the initial filling of the logistic tables the system recognizes the composition correctly (log file is OK). However the result is that table CCRCT_EHS_COMP is not filled at all and the table CCRCT_EHS_COMP_REG is filled correctly. Has anyone experience what could be the reason that table CCRT_EHS_COMP is not filled?

I found the solution. There are 2 different version of determining the composition for TSCA 12B. I changed to the other one and the problem was solved.

You have to debug the entire system behaviour , the approval process using the second approver.
As first step , please check the security level of the second approver. Restart of workflow is based on the security level of the approver.
you can find the parameter for security level in the personalization tab of the user .
there is one function module which determines wether the workflow should be restarted (or) not.
i do not remember the exact name of the function module.
1)start transaction se37
2)enter bbpwflrestart*.
3) system will return a number of function modules , of them one function module determines wether to restart the workflow (or) not.
Please check what does the above function module return for the user and the shopping cart , there will be one parameter 'restart' which triggers the start

Need a 'volume track' for each of my tracks

The Master Track is a great tool, but it operates on all of the tracks. Is there a way to have a volume track that is specific to each of my tracks? There are some places I would like to alter the volume up or down per track, but I don't see how to do this.

Yeah, I remember getting tooltips before, but for some reason they're not coming up now, no matter how long I hover the cursor. Probably need to reboot. I need to upgrade to OSX 10.5.5 anyhow...
BTW, do you know what GB does with 24/96 WAV tracks that are imported (dragged in)? Does it convert them internally to 16/44.1 AIF format, or does it hold off on that until exporting to CD? Just curious.

I own the movies and I want them to stay in my iTunes library basically forever.
But in both cases the file name no longer shows in the movie list, so I don't know how to re-download it from the Cloud.
iTunes prefs > Store > Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases.
This will show all your iTunes purchases in your library with a cloud icon down arrow. Click the icon to redownload or click on Play to stream without downloading.

Yet the first thing iTunes does when you hit the delete key is tell you that it will remove the movie forever from all devices and the library.

FYI: You should keep copies of all yoru iTnue spurahses as the labels/movie studios/copyright owners can pull their product at anytime and it won't be available to redownload.

Volume difference between programs due to pulseaudio

Hello,
I recently had to install pulseaudio because Skype required it. So now I think every application is using pulseaudio... I used to use ALSA before.
Anyway, it seems that there is a volume difference between applications: I have to turn up my volume quite loud to hear music played by XMMS (with XMMS's slider already at max). But when then KDE makes an alert sound for a dialog, I almost jump out of my chair because of how loud it is!!
Even stranger is that withing XMMS, switching to a next song causes a volume difference as well that didn't use to be there.
With ALSA, all applications had more similar sound levels.
Is there some way to fix this with pulseaudio?

I "switched" from alsa to pulseaudio a while ago, don't really remember what made it necessary for me, but anyhow. I've been through the same as you're going through these days. Unfortunately I haven't found any solutions.
There doesn't seem to be a way for either turning off the per application sound levels (well I guess that's the feature that justifies the need for an otherwise useless sound server, so "of course" that can't be turned off), nor a way for implementing a reliably working master slider.
Why do I say reliably working master slider? You can for example go to the output tab in pavucontrol, lock the channels together and use that as a master control. Or maybe not because all sorts of funny shannanigans are happening if you're doing that, such as sometimes it's working, other times it doesn't and other times these sliders jump to a random position. For example Amarok liked doing that on my machine: changing from one track to a different one sometimes caused the sliders to a much different random position and wrecking your nerves.
So I would suggest to get pavucontrol to be able to adjust the sound levels for every application, then get e.g. pulseaudio-ctl to raise/lower/mute all active applications sound levels at once. That's the closest to having a real master slider. Every so often you'll probably have to readjust your per application levels because this way only your currently running applications are getting adjusted. So for example your skype and xmms levels sit both at 80 percent. Skype is not running, xmms is running. You turn xmms down to 50percent and crank your speakers up. When you then start skype it'll be at 80 percent. Since you mentioned kde: the kde system sounds will always be at 100percent and always blow your ears off. So yeah, welcome to the new linux world where shitty bloated and unnecessary software is deemed the new standard to mimic the poor behaviour of other operating systems.
Alright before I get carried away too much: Good luck experimenting with pulseaudio. Maybe you will find the solution I couldn't find, I'll cross my fingers for you. Or get used to being able to adjust multiple sound levels and do so recursively (in pavucontrol playback, in pavucontrol output and in application - per application of course...). Or maybe run skype through wine (dunno if that's possible) and get rid of that unnecessary sound server - though I'm pretty sure that would only prolong things: eventually in a couple months you'll be forced to use pulseaudio again by some other program you're using. In any way: Get your frustration resistance up.

Cant change volume if a program is selected

To change the Volume on my Laptop, i need to hit Fn-F9-F11 depending if i want to move it up/down or mute. But it will only change it if i deselct the programs I am using, As in Playing a game, i have to minize it, and click the taskbar, then im able to change the volume from those keys, rather than that it will not change it.
Does anyone know why it might do this?

Sounds like there's an unhandled exception that's perhaps occurring on a background thread. I suggest adding an event handler for your AppDomain's UnhandledException event and putting some logging in there:

The information on the above pages should be enough to ensure almost* all exceptions can get caught by your code before triggering Windows Error Reporting.

I think that there is a bug in your thinking.
- I agree that a worker thread may cause a Kernel error
- I agree that this kernel error may cause the application to get unstable and can cause the UI thread to start to hang waiting for a return value
- And I agree that if this happen then this message will pop
However,
- If the error was silent, it is that the worker thread never returned (Otherwise, the error would have been propagated.
- If the message has popped, it is that the UI thread is hanging (deadlocked)
Then if all your threads are blocked, ... Which thread will raise the Unhanded exception event?? ... all your threads are stopped or blocked somewhere.
This is why In the code example I showed, I used a Timers.timer to create the exception and stop the application. The Timers.timer object bring a new thread in the application when the application start to hang. This thread can be used to resolve the situation.
I choose to Abort the UI thread as it is the only logical thing to do. Plus doing this gives us the stack trace and info needed for debugging

Recommand std EHS substance structure, properties, characteristic ?

As a newby in EHS module, and before setup or specification database I am wondering about the best ways to setup our specification structure. As specification type, property tree, class, char. ... are the heart of the EHS database, I am wondering if I could setup these 4 types of object manually with Z object :
I means by creating :
=> ZREAL_SUB specification type,
=> ZCEHS_XXXX value assignement,
=> ZCEHS_XXXX class,
=> ZEHS_xxx characteristic,
=> ZEHS_xxx phrase Set,
Does this way of EHS customizing is dangeurous ?
Does some characteristics are very sensitive to any process ?
Our EHS final scope will be : Safety Data, Dangeurous Goods checks, Waste Mgt, IHS.

With other SAP Module, I am used to setup Z sap object, in order to be able to compare (if necessary) my Z customizing object to the standard.
Here, I am thinking the same way. For example, on the REAL_SUB, I would like to setup some custo point (for example the tabs that I will not used ...). By customizing entirely the substance, I will be much more confident on how EHS works and how the substance is customized. It's also a good method for me to learn the way of customizing EHS.
The other reason why I am thinking about this, is that I do not know how to use all the default characteristic assign to a class. Those characteristics do not "talk to me" ... sometimes, even for end-user.
So my idea, is to defined with end-user, the list of value assignment needed, and for each, all characteristic & data that could apply to it. By bulding this all Value assignment-Charactiristic tree, I will be probably much more confident with solution ...
By Z naming convention, I was thinking of : Substance (like ZREAL_SUB), Z property tree, Z Value Assignent (property) with Z class assigned, in which I will setup Z characteristic. I will not mix Z char with SAP_EHS class.
For other point, I will keep std custo (for identifiers ID, regulation list, Rating/Valididty Area ...)

I had the same problem for SO long, until just now. Midi tracks would jump up in Volume at certain points, and I couldn't control.

Now my remaining question is, how can I PREVENT Volume events from being written in? Cause looking at one midi track's events right now, I'd have to go thru the list and delete about 15 different volume events for the volume to not jump around on me...
I think I have Midi Volume assigned to a fader on my midi keyboard... not to figure out how to unlearn that assignment...

Way to Manually adjust volume track by entering db level?

In Premier Elements 12 I see you can drag the volume for the music track up/down to adjust the volume, but I would like even better control. Is there a way I can key in the decibel volume I desire instead of just dragging the volume line up/down and hoping I can get it right that way?

Have you highlighted your audio on the audio track, and then gone to Expert workspace Adjust Tab, Adjustments Palette, Volume Panel expanded?
This route allows for keyframing of the Volume:Clip Volume properties as well as setting one volume for the whole audio clip.
By the way, what computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12 running on? Have you updated to the 12.1 Update (See Help Menu/Updates).

Tracking external programs used to access database

I would like to track/audit the external programs our users are using to access our Oracle databases over a period of time. Hoping to track users hitting database with SPSS, MSAccess, etc for a report requested by our mgmt.
I find "program" and "module" in the v$_session table but don't see similar info in the SYS aud$ table. And v$_session info doesn't get "saved" over the course of a day/week/month.
Any ideas how to accomplish this?
