EJB jar migration with out using migration plugin??

Hi,
I have a jar containing my ejbs with descriptors(jboss/weblogic). I have created an enterprise application project in NWDS. Is there any way i can directly put this ejb jar into ear project without using migration plugin. I will change the descriptors in the jar file manually. Please guide..

I dont have source code . All i have is ejb jar which contains all the ejb classes and deployment descriptors.I already have a ear project. Now i want to add this jar file to this ear project and deploy to WAS. I'LL change the descriptors manually. Pls let me know how will i go about it in this scenario

Hi Jain,
is the error message that the public part is not found prefixed with [dcmake]? If yes that rather points in the direction that there is a problem with the metadata information. (PP name not correctly spelled, renamed after initial creation, perhaps even some problems with upper/lower-case letters depending on your platform.)
What SP are you using? The log looks like some rather old build plugins are used on a newer NWDI installation.
The warning from the [wdgen] task and the subsequent failure of the [wdminimizer] can be ignored. "ERROR: Non Fatal Error" is a bit quaint, but it really is not fatal. It just means that the minimizer didn't find the data required to operate. The [wdgen] warning means that the WebDynpro generator could not write the information. So the jar files in your public part are maybe a bit bigger than necessary but that's all.

BDC PROGRAM WITH OUT USING A FM?

Hi Experts,
I need wirte a BDC program for tcode PA30.
i did the screen recording part using tcode-shdb.
i need to use field i recorded as input fields.
Now the main part is how to write code? with out using a class/method?
class/method which i earlier used is class : CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES.
                                                         method: gui_upload.
am not using ny flat file/xml file to upload?
are there any function modules which i can use?
and how to write code with out using FM?
if any can solve my issue would be very helpful...plz provide code...which would be more helpful.

   If you are migrating employee data, I would suggest you to do it through PA40 transaction rather PA30. systematic screen validations it will go through. If you dont want to use any FM and wanted to do using recording pls find the below code which will update the employee data through PA40 with call transaction method.

I have kind of the requirement. The clinet is asking for connecting the SAP RFC using java application. The build Jar or .war or .Ear for which are going to develop should be compatible for running on any of the Applications server like they have Tom cat, weblogic, websphere server.
so the .jar for or .ear file which we are going to develop should be able to run accessing the RFC/ BAPIs from any of these servers other than SAP WAS that is what their target.
Please give me your suggestion, which is better approach. currently their SAP system is 4.6c . So presently it is not possible the webservice approach. But they have plans to go for upgrade to ECC6.0
In that case only JCO option is possible. If use this option . Is it possible to access application which is deployed irrespective of the WAS by doing the required configuration.
Basically i am aware of the ABAP webservice work bech steps and also the JAVA coding also.
Please suggest me what is the better way to achieve this.

Hi,
You can send an idoc to SAP system through XI without using IDX2. When u send an Idoc through XI, the metadata will be automatically loaded in Idx2.
IDX1 is used for creating a port in XI for Idoc. This port will be responsible for loading the metadata.

You could do:
ClsMyTypeCollection* operator->() {
returnthis;};
// operator pointer to ->
operatorClsMyTypeCollection*()
{returnthis;};
public:
vector<ClsMytype>
m_t_Col;//??
The last line with "vector<xClsMytype>
m_t_Col;". It compiles but I doubt that is what you want.
