Ejb on websphere5.0

Question

dear all :
i write projects using jbuilder 9 , websphere application server 5.0.
Projects about web application and session bean are ok.
but one project about entity bean goes wrong.
i use wizards to new entity bean, doing nothing on codes,
then i compiled the project, there are some bugs.
Error Message :
"test.ejbgrpx": [*Error] /temp_test.jar: A table does not exist for enterprise bean: F0btbasic in file: META-INF/backends/DB2UDBNT_V72_1/Map.mapxmi.
Updating.
A table does not exist for enterprise bean: F0btbasic in file: META-INF/backends/DB2UDBNT_V72_1/Map.mapxmi.
Shutting down workbench.
Execution Halted: Validation Errors Reported

does any one know what happen ? :)

I had the same problem. The whole porting thing from BES to WAS is littered with poor errors.
Look under google groups for : "A table does not exist for enterprise bean:"
This error normally happens when a java type to database type has not been
successfully generated in the WebSphere CMP descriptors.
Could you check the following :
1. Double click on the EJB module.
2. Click on the EJB DD Source tab.
3. In each CMP descriptor search for 'SQLUnknown'
For each field that has a SQLUnknown, you will need to find an appropriate
mapping which is predefined in WebSphere mapping files and set it up in JB
accordingly :
To do this :
1. Tools | Configure Servers. Select WebSphere 5.0
2. Click on the Custom tab.
3. Click on the 'CMP Mapping Settings' button.
4. In the dialog, add data type aliases (the third table) if necessary. For
example if you are mapping SHORT (database type) to java.lang.Integer, add a
data type
alias for all databases with data type 'SHORT' mapping to INTEGER (since the
default mapping is from INTEGER to java.lang.Integer).
