Ekpo table partially active

Hi Experts,
I have created include structure CI_EKPODB in ekpo table by double click and added some fields in this structure.Then I deleted these fields from the structure.Now the table ekpo showing partially active.whenever i try to activate the table showing error that some fields are deleted from the table.
Can you please advice how to activate ekpo table.

You have to save and activate the database.
GotoSe11->Table name>Utilitiies>Database Object>Database Utility> Save and activate database.
It will activate and adjust the datase.

HI experts,
I am working with table FKKVK with APPEND structures.This table become partially active after sometime.
I dont know the resons that why this table become partially active.
I have checked that :-
1) All the append structures are also active.
2) all check tables are also ACTIVE.
3) all the domains all also ACTIVE.
Please suggest the reason that why FKKVK table become PARTIALLY ACTIVE.

Hi,
Tough you have activated all the objects separately, your table is changed now by a append structure which means that you will have to adjust the table accordingly to activate it. So to activate your table follow the below process,
Goto your table -? Utilities -> database utility -> Adjust & activate. this will make sure that your table is completely active and all the changes are in effect.

Performance ME51 table EBKN partially active

Hello group,
we suddenly had a performance issue, and we found that suddenly table EBKN appeared as "patially active" in the database. After activating the performance problems were gone. But we have no clue as to how the table got the status "partially active" and what this means. We got no errors or warnings when activating.
Doe sanyone have a clue as to what the cause is for the status "partially active"?

it's not necessarily the table but could be one of the includes .... .
Partially active means that a part of the table (e.g. an include) was not active while the table (the part without the include) was active. You can try to find that part and search that in transports.
In the cases i had i was like this.
Regaring your performance problems: I wonder if they have to do with a partially activated table. Honestly i doubt it.
Programs working on partially activated tables should either work or dump but i never heard of performance problems
related to partially activated tables....

Error in BSEG partially active after removing the custom field CI_COBL in ECC 6.0

Hello SAP Gurus,
I added one custom field in CI_COBL and activated ,the all the connected DB tables like BSEG etc activated successfully. But after that I deleted the field from CI_COBL but the BSEG and CI_COBL could not be activated. It is still in partially active .
Please suggest how to resolve this issue. Its very urgent.

Hi,
I hope you are going to do in Development system then check any errors in SE11.
if its fine then got to SE14
Check the status whether Active or partially active
if its other then Active, you may get help from BASIS team or yourself can do it in SE14
Click the button 'Activate and adjust database' please ensure that the radio button save data should be selected and which is default or else the entire DB records will be deleted along with DB table activate.
In development you can choose processing type as Direct/Background.

Partial activation in standard SAP object

Hi all,
I had to change a standard SAP object. However, when i was asked about the language, i accidentally clicked "change original language". I made the changes and activated.
However, it shows me partially active. Please let me know if it is ok, or if there is some way out.

Partial Activation Comes Up with the warnings. In Most of the cases the Table will not be converted according to the requested mode. Plz Read the warnings that you are getting while Activation and Try to solve those.
Mostly It will Work.

Unable to delete the request id in ODS....indicating partially activated

Dear All,
When I tried deleting a request from ODS, am unable to turn the QM status to red, itz indicating that the request is partially activated. When I tried deleting the request without changing the status, the delete icon is popped up, but eventually goes back to the previous status and hence does not get deleted.
Due to the above, the subsequent requests coming into the ODS are not getting activated at all...
I tried running the function module RSBM_GUI_CHANGE_USTATE, to delete the request, but to no success. Similarly, when I tried locating the requests in the four tables RSICCONT, RSMONICDP, RSODSACTUPDTYPE and RSODSACTREQ, could not found the request id to be deleted in any of these 4 tables.
Please suggest some solution as it is of high importance...

You can try the below options,
1. Remove the request data from the active table using the function
to delete data selectively.
You must enter selection criterion to select the data of the
aborted request.
2. Use Transaction SE37 to execute the 'RSAR_ODS_API_DEL' function
module as follows:
I_REQUEST <Name of the activation request>
I_DATE <current date>
3. Use Transaction SE16 to delete all entries for this request and
for this ODS object from the RSICCONT, RSMONICDP, RSODSACTUPDTYPE
and RSODSACTREQ tables.

Error while saving to ekpo table

sir,
PO was created with currency japanese YEN using Tcode ME21N . The net price was showing 142502300 (in JPY).
My problem is when checked in EKPO table , it saved with a value 1425023.00 So this is decimal value error. what can be done to correct this.

for japaness yen there is no decimal places in the amount field sap as stanadrd save with two decimal places. so during display u will see the amount without decimal which is correct value but in backend sap saves with 2 decimals.
so there is no error in sap. it is sap stanadrd process of saving data.
for eg the percentage value for condition records is saved by multiplied by 10 .

what i am doing is finding out the OPEN PO line item from EKPO table. I know it has to check the ELIKZ field from the EKPO table.Can you please clarify me on the same in more detail.I has to use the ELIKZ EREKZ fields from EKPO table.

Use the field ELIKZ in EKPO. If the field is Blank its an OPEN PO Line Item

EKPO table not getting updated with PR numbers

Hi All,
PR and PO is created in APO and then transferred to R/3 system. For all these POs, we can see the PR number in the PO display(ME23n) but when we see in the EKPO table the PR number is missing.
Any pointers as to why this is happenning? whether any SAP notes needs to be implemented?how we can make that PR is updated in EKPO table also?
Any feed abck will be highly appreciated.

The problem with having the EKPO hold the requisition number is that you then only have the ability to store ONE PR number.
By storing them on the delivery schedule lines you have the ability to have as many as you like and so you should be looking for these on the delivery schedule lines on the PO item and not on the item itself.

Global Temporary Tables in active data guard.

HI Gurus,
Please help me with below query. Google confusing me a lot.
1) We have an ADG (RAC Setup) 11gr2 with ASM. Is it possible to create global temporary tables in ADG. Because Devlopers are not able to create temp tables. Its giving error as
ORA-16000: database open for read-only access
2) Do we need to create Global Temporary tables in Active node or passive node??

How to Update EKPO table with enhancement at header level-customer data tab

Experts,
I have a requirement where I had to create a new button in the 'customer data' tab(header) in the ME21N/ME22N Transaction and once it gets clicked a table control will appear and in that all the line items with item no, material and plant and an additional check box will display, and once any one checks the check box against the item/material in the table control the item data with additional z fields (already created the zfields in EKPO Table) should get updated.
Displaying Table control and item data on the click of button was successful, but once you check the check box against the item and save the PO it is not updating the z-fields in the EKPO table.
I have implemented all the user exits , badis but no results.
Once you check the box in the table control against each item in the header part (Table control is in header part (customer tab)) the line item EKPO table with z fields should get updated.
Any Clues/ideas will be appreciated.

How to change the status of a Partially Activated Red request?

Hi
I am unable to delete a Request which is partially activated and which is in Red.
This was due to
We were trying to manually update a data packet which was struck for a long time in the above request. While we changed the status of the requests to red and were about to perform the manual update, the struck data packet processed automatically and the activation too started automatically before the request was set to green.
To recover , we need to delete the request which we are unable to do.

Dear,
When you create a production order, an operation created by the system is generated automatically if no routing is used for the creation. As a result the order header receives the status HOGAN; the operation created automatically also has this status.
If you delete the operation created automatically and then do not have the status HOGAN.
To avoid this maintain the Routing for the material or delete the setting of default operation from OPJG.

DSO Partially Activated

Hi All
I have searched before posting this and although there are some threads re: the above they are not entirley like mine.
I have run an initialisation on a DSO but it will not let me activate it. On monitor everything is showing as green. When I go into the DSO to activate it the QM status turns red. If I hover over it the message "Error occurred during the activation process". If I click it a pop up appears saying "Request is already (partially) activated; no further QM action possible".
The same load is also loading into another DSO and everything is fine with that one.
Do any of you have any idea of what can be causing it.
I've tried initialising without data
I've tried loading into the psa first
I've even tried running the load and activation via a process chain
but each time the activaiton fails, maybe there is a setting somewhere or somthing I have to delete before I can go any further.
I've read a thread which mentions RSMONICDP, RSICCONT, RSODSACTREQ and RSODSACTUPDTYPE but these were mentioned in the respect of deleting the request. I can delete it but I want to beable to activate it.

I've looked on SM37 and it says "Overlapping check with archived data areas fro InfoProvider ZSD_O01. Data to be activated successfully checked against archiving objects. ABAP/4 SYNTAX ERROR"
I have now searched on the above error and although I found the exact same error the person solved it but didn't say how he solved it
I've looked on ST22 and there is a dump it is saying something about " /BIC/B0000343000 is unknown"

Hi,
When a table is activated in the SE11, If its of type Transperant table then A Database table will be created in the under lying database table.
And Priamry Key will be used to create Primary INDEX for the table.
Based on the data class and the Size category you select suitalbe area in the Database will be selected before the actual database table is created.

You can try using VBFA table. give input as VBELN = deliver no.,POSNN = item no.and VBTYP_N = 'J' and VBTYP_V = 'V'. Then VBELV,POSNV will give you the purchase order no. or else you can get all the preceding documents of delivery like sales order and then input sales order and get purchase order from VBFA
