El ipod no emite ningun sonido

Buenas tardes..
Hice todo lo q aconsejan. Instale la ultima version de Itune, resetie el ipod, cargue la musica, probe con otro auricular, subo y bajo el volumen, no esta en pausa y en suspension y no hace ningun ruidito y x supuesto no se escucha ninguna cancion. En la pantalla se ve todo normalmente como si se estuviera reproduciendo, mostrando el titulo y el progreso de la cancion pero sin sonido.
Q puedo hacer?

Ir al botón de configuración, pulse "música". Asegúrese de "Límite de volumen" se apaga. usted puede hacer esto haciendo clic en él, y girando el mando hasta el final a la derecha

I have a very embarrassing problem here... A few days ago, I somehow lost my iPod Touch in my apartment (which is neither messy nor huge, so this borders the surreal). I looked everywhere, and it seems that over night, it slipped into a parallel dimension.
Be it as it may, I still heard it send a beep for an iCal alert yesterday from another room - but there are no more alerts coming, so I cannot hope for more audible clues.
Now I see this iPod is still connecting to my WLAN router every day precisely at 4 p.m. - I can see its name, IP and MAC address in the router's log, so it has to be near.
The obvious question:
Is there a way to "ping" an iPod Touch on a Wireless Network and make it emit a beep or play a song?
This is a regular 8GB unit with OS 3.1 and a bunch of WLAN-using apps such as Skype and "File Sharing" by Softalk - but I had none of them running when I last saw my iPod, so this probably won't help.
I'm out of ideas, and soon, the iPod's battery will die - so if someone has a suggestion, I would really appreciate it.

OK, my lost iPod's re-appeared - still, I'm curious if there is a way to locate/"ping" an iPod on a WLAN in the same way one would call a lost phone. Does someone know of an app that would do this?

Just do not turn it wifi or BT on and it emits very very lutter radiation.

No suena ningun sonido, por estar en posicion Auriculares fijo

El iphone 4 de mi mujer de golpe, ha dejado de oirse cualquier sonido. He observado que si subes o bajas el volumen, aparece en pantalla "Auriculares", sin tenerlos puestos y no se como puedo dejarlo en la posición "Timbre".

Entiendo y lo que comento al inicio sobre el panel de control del controlador del audio?, no se que tan util podria resultar esto para tu problema, suponiendo que solo utilices el micrfono externo el splitter no intervendria.
Te dejo unas capturas:
El panel varia segun el controlador de audio, Realtek o Smart, Panel de control\Hardware y sonido , se ubica al final de la lista.
Sobre la configuración de Windows al des-habilitar el microfono interno este debe quedar asi, mantienes el controlador de fabrica relacionado al audio?, que sucede si des-instalas el controlador de audio y queda con el de Windows?.

No escribo para darte una solución, simplemente para decirte que me ocurre exactamente lo mismo que has descripto. Sin auriculares, el sonido no funciona, no esta activado el mute ni nada que se le parezca. Sin auriculares, ni siquiera aparece la barra de sonido, ahora apenas los conecto, aparece y se escucha. Intente todo, hasta restaurarlo, mis sospechas es que se deben a alguna actualización del IOS, que si no recuerdo mal me ocurrió después de hacerla......
Te comento que leyendo en otros foros he descubierto otras descripciones que sí no son exactas a las nuestras son muy similares, con lo que..... ¿Será la obsolescencia programada?

Hola, ni se rompan la cabeza tratando de arreglarlo o llevandolo a un tecnico que no sea de apple ni mucho menos arriesgando su equipo metiendolo al congelando, yo tengo el mismo problema y tan facil lo lleve al apple service y me dijeron que no tiene reparacion, me dijeron que si mi garantia de apple estaba todavia vigente me lo tenian que cambiar por un equipo nuevo y que tenia que hacer respaldo de mi info, entregar mi equipo y en 3 semanas me llega un equipo nuevo, no necesitan su factura de compra, simplemente necesitan su equipo y con el numero de serie ellos mismos checan la vigencia de su garantia. - If you donot have that feature set up, if wifi is n and some othr coditions are met yu may be able to male the iPod make a sound by calling it with Skype, FaceTime and maybe some other app and use the Notificatins soound for that app.
- Otherwise, you just have to look for it like any object. Apple will not help. Also see:

IPod Touch wifi broadcast causing battery drain!

Heres what I've found with this issue.
The wifi will at some point become locked onto broadcast.
I used unshielded speakers to detect when the ipod is emitting signal. I would try various things like loading a video from the net via wifi and I would pick up some static on the speakers when the iPod is held close to them. Similar to a cell phone near a computers speakers when receiving a call. The interference generated by something simple like this was there but minimal. When there was nothing being downloaded to the iPod there would be an occasional pulse sent out by it. Very small, very quick. The problem arises when at some random moment, usually within 10-15 minutes of wifi being on the wifi gets stuck onto some type of constant broadcast. The interference with the speakers is non-stop and will just continue until the battery depletes. Usually in about an hour or two. The wifi locks into the broadcast mode and constantly sends out going radio signal detectable by the unshielded speakers. I've also noticed that there is abnormal heat accompanying this on the top left corner backside of the iPod just under the power button. Maybe this is near to the wifi emmitter?
Well Apple it seems that this is a pretty big issue and over a month now and still no fix. Do you need me to bring over these speakers to your labs so you can see whats going on here??? Try it out folks, you'll see what I'm talking about.

You can take your speakers in, I suppose...but I don't think you really want to haul them in.
Here on the Apple Forums, most of us are volunteers--including me. Apple doesn't always check in here, though I have seen a few people that I think work for Apple.
Now: I haven't had the problem you describe, and use my iPod touch on wifi a good chunk of the day, near my MacBook, speakers, and AirPort Express. (Like within inches.) Makes me wonder if the issue isn't unique to your unit.
If your iPod is within warranty, +take it in.+ If not, it might still be worth taking in to see if everything is okay.
