El servidor ha encontrado un error al procesar el registro. iMessage & FaceTime iMac

Acabo de bajar la actualización de mountain lion, voy a la aplicación de iMessage, me pide ID de apple y contraseña, al introducirlo, está unos minutos pensando y despues siempre me dice: El servidor ha encontrado un error al procesar el registro. La aplicción FaceTime dice el mismo error. Tengo un Iphone y me funciona perfectamente todo. El problema está en el iMac.

Hola! Alguna vez se te solucionó? no sé qué hacer con la Imac no funciona el Facetime.... ni siquiera puedo entrar a las preferencias al iniciar la aplicación, mucho menos se conecta. Help!!!

    Hola! mctadeo, es frustrante cuando instalas un nuevo OS (tal es el caso de Mountain Lion) y resultan detalles que no puedes explicar o que te dificultan el utilizar tu Mac, te comento que también tuve el mismo problema y después de investigar, probar e incluso llamar a soporte de Apple en donde no supieron darme una solución por fin encontré la solución, la cual no requiere configuraciones adicionales, activar la función de horario automático o integrar a la configuración de Wifi en el DNS 8.8.8.8 (comentarios que encontré en la red y que no funcionaron).
    Pues bien, te explico, al instalar el Mountain Lion, también se instala y se activa el Firewall de OS, el cual no permite la conexión de los servicios de Facetime e iMessage, por lo que solamente con desactivarlo es más que suficiente para poder usarlos, te pongo la ruta a seguir para que puedas aplicarla:
    1. Ingresa a Preferencias del Sistema
    2. Da clic en el ícono de Seguridad y Privacidad
    3. Dentro de las funciones, ubica la pestaña "Firewall"
    4. Da clic en el botón "Desactivar Firewall"
    5. Cierra Preferencias del Sistema y listo
    Si no puedes dar clic al botón "Desactivar Firewall" revisa que en la parte inferior izquiera de tu ventana esté abierto el candado de seguridad. Una vez que realices éste cambio, te recomiendo que reinicies tu Mac para que todo salga bien, ya en la nueva sesión, trata de conectarte nuevamente a Facetime y a iMessages con tu ID y contraseña y me cuentas el resultado.

    Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
    ☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
    ☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
    ☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
    Step 1
    For this step, the title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
    SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
    from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
    View ▹ Show Log List
    from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
    In the top right corner of the Console window, there's a search box labeled Filter. Initially the words "String Matching" are shown in that box. Enter the name of the crashed application or process. For example, if iTunes crashed, you would enter "iTunes" (without the quotes.)
    Each message in the log begins with the date and time when it was entered. Select the messages from the time of the last crash, if any. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
    ☞ The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.
    Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
    Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.
    ☞ Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.
    Step 2
    In the Console window, select
    DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION ▹ User Diagnostic Reports
    (not Diagnostic and Usage Messages) from the log list on the left. There is a disclosure triangle to the left of the list item. If the triangle is pointing to the right, click it so that it points down. You'll see a list of crash reports. The name of each report starts with the name of the process, and ends with ".crash". Select the most recent report related to the process in question. The contents of the report will appear on the right. Use copy and paste to post the entire contents—the text, not a screenshot.
    I know the report is long, maybe several hundred lines. Please post all of it anyway.
    ☞ If you don't see any reports listed, but you know there was a crash, you may have chosen Diagnostic and Usage Messages from the log list. Choose DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION instead.
    In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
    ☞ Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report—they're very long and rarely helpful.

    Could be many things, we should start with this...
    "Try Disk Utility
    1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
    2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
    *Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
    3. Click the First Aid tab.
    4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
    5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

    Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
    (Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
    If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.
    Or..
    Tough without the Install Disk problems, but try fsck...
    To use fsck, you must run it from the command line. Unlike using your mouse to open an application to do something, you'll need to type a text command at the prompt (#) to tell fsck what to do. The Terminal application (/Applications/Utilities) and single-user mode are two examples of command-line interfaces in which you can type such commands. To use fsck:
    1. Start up your computer in single-user mode to reach the command line. Hold CMD+s keys down at bootup.
    Note: If necessary, perform a forced restart as described in the Emergency Troubleshooting Handbook that came with your computer. On desktop computers, you can do this by pressing the reset/interrupt button (if there is one) or holding down the power button for several seconds. On portable computers, simultaneously press the Command-Control-power keys. If your portable computer doesn't restart with this method, you may need to reset the Power Manager.
    2. At the command-line prompt, type /sbin/fsck -fy
    (SPACE between fsck AND -fy important)
    3. Press Return. fsck will go through five "phases" and then return information about your disk's use and fragmentation. Once it finishes, it'll display this message if no issue is found:
    The volume (name_of_volume) appears to be OK
    If fsck found issues and has altered, repaired, or fixed anything, it will display this message:
    ***** FILE SYSTEM WAS MODIFIED *****
    Important: If this message appears, repeat the fsck command you typed in step 2 until fsck tells you that your volume appears to be OK (first-pass repairs may uncover additional issues, so this is a normal thing to do).
    4. When fsck reports that your volume is OK, type reboot at the prompt and then press Return.

    I'm hoping someone can help me out here. Both my iMessage and Facetime was working fine until yesterday when I get logged out all of a sudden. I tried signing in to my iMessage & Facetime and all I keep getting is an error saying "The server encountered an error processing registration. Please try again later."
    My Apple ID is active and working on my iTunes, iCloud, Macbook Air and iPhone but it's only on my iMac that's giving me this problem. Both my MBA and iMac are running on Mountain Lion.
    I tried deleting the  ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.imessage.plist method as suggested by others. It did NOT work. I tried setting my date/time automatically. It also did NOT work. I'm just puzzled as to why my MBA is able to log in to Facetime and iMessage but not my iMac.

    Go into Settings. Correct your Date/Time settings because the update threw them off. This is common with apple updates. It will fix your iMessage/Facetime login errors.

    This won't work for the iphone 5...

  • Why does an error occur during activation of iMessage?

    Everytime I try turn on my iMessage/ Facetime a message pops up saying "iMessage Activation: An error has occurred during activation. Try again." This has been happening for a day already and I literally have tried eveything I know of. I tried: Restarting my phone, turning off cellular data/ 3G, re-entering my apple ID and password, restarting all the settings on my iphone, and none of this has fixed the problem. I was thinking the problem was with my apple ID but i was able to sign into the communities. If anyone knows anythng else I could try please help me out, it would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

    Tras crear, y enviar, una remesa en formato CSB58 en BO, el banco cuando ha intentado procesarla nos da el mensaje de que "el fichero contiene errores"...
    ¿Sabeis a qué se debe?

    gracias por tu ayuda.
    Efectivamente, repasando el formato del fichero en el .txt que genera BO, faltaban las posiciones relativas al sufijo, lo que provocaba que todos los campos siguientes se adelantaran 3 posiciones respecto a la que les corresponde en la estructura del fichero.
    He incluído ya el Sufijo en el campo de usuario-2, en las cuentas bancarias, y estoy a la espera que el cliente confirme la corrección con un prueba en real de procesamiento de una remesa del CSB58 en su entidad.

    hola ya he utilizado anteriormente after efects pero hice un proyecto de 2 horas y al procesarlo me sale que tengo un error interno y a veces sale error de modulo de salida que debo hacer gracias

    Como te indica sin rodeos Mylenium, si esperas alguna respuesta o ayuda tienes que dar toda clase de detalles, entre otros generales del proyecto, cual es exactamente el error interno, un pantallazo es lo mejor, igual que con el de salida.
    Si has realizado otros proyectos, aunque sean más sencillos, con éxito, puedes empezar a analizar que elementos, a=tareas u otra clase de acciones y procesos pueden ser los problematicos.
    No facilitar detalles es como llamar al médico por teléfono y decirlo simplemente que "no me siento bien" ,
    ya sabes la respuesta no?

  • Error 201 when downloading Creative Cloud to iMac

    I work for a school. and we have Adobe Suite CC installed on all of our machines, with individual Adobe ID's for licensing purposes.
    When trying to download Creative Cloud to an iMac, so that I can download an app (AE), I'm getting error 201 after about 10 seconds of download. I've downloaded the Creative Cloud installer, then when I double click the installer, the error keeps coming up.
    I'm signed into Adobe ok with my ID.
    Does anyone know what this error means? The forum lists other errors but I can't see any details about this one. I have tried a second iMac, and I get the same result.

  • HT1807 I travelled to a different country & using a new sim; with the change in sim, I have been unable to use iMessage & FaceTime. Cant replace replace the earlier no with the current one and it reads error. how to correct this?

    I traveled to a different country and using a new sim/new carrier. With the change in the sim, I have been unable to use the iMessage--outside of WiFi coverage area, and FaceTime at all time. I believe it is due to the phone number registered as an address in the phone, which has not changed with the change of sim; so it countinues to showing as an error while varifying the data.
    Wonder if any of you are in a position to advise as to how to address the following.
    1. I need to input correct phone no, meaning the number I am using in the correct location.
    2. I need to activate FaceTime and be able to use it.
    3. I need to be able to use iMessage and/or ordinary sms while outside of WiFi coverage area.
    It may be mentioned in my current location I don't have GPRS on the cell phone which is the case in my regular station.

  • "Error while Printing" on ethernet network connected iMac.

    Have 2 iMacs sharing a Canon MP530, one directly connected, the other via a Linksys ethernet router. Upon a print request, the networked computer locates the MP530 and displays the standard print page, but shortly after clicking Print (or Preview) the "Error while Printing" message is displayed. Under some conditions in the past we have been able to print from the networked machine, but now we're stuck and nothing seems to fix the problem.

    Since you have 10.4.10 installed, I'm betting that you were able to print before this update was installed. Anyway, the first thing I would do is delete the printer from the 'client' (the iMac connecting to the shared printer). Open Printer Setup Utility, select the MP530 and delete it. Then click on Printer Setup Utility and select Reset Printing System. This should remove the Canon MP driver files. Then run the printer driver installer again and once completed, add the printer via the Printer Setup Utility, by clicking Add > Default Browser and select the Shared Printer.
    I would also try running a Repair Disk Permissions and if that doesn't help then try using Fixamac's Printer Setup Repair utility.
