Elearning licenses - BUT THEN What is MLP ??

HI
I have 3 TLP volume licenses for elearning suites
BUT THEN .. my reseller told me that "Adobe has advised that Unfortunately there is NO option for end users with Captivate, eLearning Suite and Presenter under TLP maintenance to renew either now or in the future."
BUT THEN ... ASA was announced

which I can get maintenance with. Yay !
BUT THEN .... No one can tell me whether
- my TLP Volume license become ASA
- do i have to reinstall them with differ4nt license numbers
- If I purchase additional ASA licenses will they have different serial numbers to my existing TLP license ?
BUT THEN I got an email my email this morning sating I had an upgrade to "eLearning Suite ALL MLP New Upgrade Plan"
BUT THEN I have no idea what MLP is ???

Adobe Acrobat repeatedly asks me for my license, but then doesn't allow me to sign in

I had to uninstall and then reinstall Adobe Acrobat Pro due to a problem I was facing. Upon reinstalling it, I had a choice as to whether to enter a license code or continue with a trial that would expire in 32,767 days. I opted for the former, but before Adobe would allow me to enter the license, I was required to log in. I enter my credentials, but an unresolved hourglass appears and never resolves itself. After 20 minutes, I terminated the process.
I then tried to launch Acrobat Pro using the trial. However, each time I try to use the trial, a window pops up telling me I have 32,767 days left on the trial and I have to select "okay." This is a constant distraction.
Is there a way to resolve these issues?

Actually, I was very fortunate to have had this issue resolved. I restarted my computer and tried again and this time, for some reason, Adobe accepted my credentials and allowed me to sign in.

Hi Tony..and thanks. I spent a frustrating 3 hours on this,am an EE...it downloads and leaves you there.it ought to say 'install now" or something, or at least a status statement,where it is and what to do next.. Adobe downloads are a good , in fact excellent common sense model.
I am sure pros know this loading thing, but average guy does not. Also loading by that means seems to be for a fresh start, "Install Mozilla firefox" not an upgrade,another confusion. Just want it to work!. I believe I got there by accident through upgrade path you mention. ..Found that, i think ,off old Icon. not sure how i finally got it working ..
Trying to improve breed........also found disappearing tool bar,which has driven me crazy, randomly,. especially when with the Google tool bar,has been all along caused by accidental hitting of alt button while typing .Why would you EVER want firefox without its tool bar? and alt button is VERY easily hit...fyi?That needs changing for the average user.

PS posting about that Alt somewhere in FF start page would help a lot of people....even my daughter,a windows IP admin who uses firefox, could not fix it at our workplace .had to use IE for a week because of suddenly no firefox tool bar. No one knew why it went away,and what to do to get it back. If it is gone you cannot access firefox to do anything.

Ipod4 is disable because my 12 yr old put in the wrong password says to connect to i tunes but then what ?

My daughter put in the wrong Password 3x and her Ipod 4 became disable Im 62 and know nothing about tech. I'm trying to get her to enable it again.I logged in to the i tunes as it suggested without getting any info on how to enable it again.

Wscompile . . . then what?

So I have wsdl that describes my service. It also defines some complex types. I run wscompile.sh, and I get a lot of generated classes. But then what?
I'm looking at the classes, and I don't see a generated interface that I can implement a class to. So I'm confused - according to the docs it looks like I have to define the interface myself, using the complex types created from wscompile. And then I have to implement said interface.
I can then tie it together somehow and deploy it as a war. I'll get to that later.
What surprises me, and is the source of my confusion, is that -
all the information for the interface is defined in the wsdl. Why can't (or does?) wscompile.sh generated the interface for me, and even implement a skeleton for said interface. That way all's I'd have to do is to write the actual code (I'm a lazy bum).
I guess what really rubs me the wrong way is that if I change my wsdl, I then have to regenerate everything (I expect that) but then I have to hand change my java interface. What'd really be nice is if wscompile.sh could eliminate that last step by generating the java interface when it generates all of the other classes.
Or am I missing something?

Add the "-gen:server" option to wscompile to generate server-side artifacts.

I want to share my GB track with friends. I have "shared" it with iTunes, then what do I do?

I don't know how to get my GB track to my friends, some of whom will have macs and some pcs. I have "shared" it with iTunes, but then what do I do? I know I can burn it to a cd, but I just want to send them the file. I've been told I can make it a podcast and post it on my Facebook page, but I don't know how to do this either! Basically, I want to be able to send a link to the track so that foks with either macs or pcs can listen to it. Thanks!

What is your GarageBand version?
In GarageBand '11 you have the option "Share > Send Podcast to iWeb". You will have to use the software you are using to create webpages to link to that file.
In GarageBand 10.0 you can use the option "Share > SoundCloud".
If you only want a place to put the song for download, get yourself a Dropbox, see: Download Dropbox for Mac OS
In GarageBand, use "Export Song to Disk".
Then put the song into the "public" folder in your dropbox and send the link to your friends.

Try holding the sleep/wake and home button til the phone turns off then turn it back on using the sleep/wake button. This resets the phone. If you still have trouble connecting to the netwok then try Settings>General>Reset>Reset network settings. This should clear it up. If not then try to restore your phone using itunes.

Make sure Readr is closed. Go to the Applications form, look for the Adobe Reader icon, double click on it, and follow the lead. Restart Reader when finished.

Nothing to do with the download; you need to open Adobe Reader once after the install is complete, and accept the EULA.

Upgrade from Captivate 4 to eLearning Suite 6.1 was easy last year. Needed Cap4 for licensing eLearning Suite 6.1.
After re-installing Cap4 on a new PC, Captivate 5 (and other products like XSuite or CS6) are minimum requiry?! Now, I can't license anymore. What should I do?
Here's the message i get (in German):

First, thank you kglad. Contacting the support seemed to me like the ultimate last chance and since there are so many FAQs and informative forums and blogs I thought I could find an answer there, but, you were right. Contacting the support in that case was the only way to solve the problem.
Second, for everyone dealing wth a similar problem. Cap 4 is still eligible. It is just hided in the mask you have to insert your serial number. The support staff will fix your problem within a few seconds.

I am almost there now, thanks the chat advise.
This is was Adobe tells me: You have a volume license serial number. You need to login to www.licensing.adobe.com website and download the software and you can activate the software without any issue.
I did go there but came no further. Then Adobe said: I checked and see that your email address is not registered under the Licensing website. Please contact the administrator under whose email address the product was purchased to add you as a user and you will be able to login and download the product.
So it is now in the hands of our IT guy who purchased this serial license

When I get to the login page on my macbook, I type in my password and it starts to load, but then the screen turns blue and it goes back to the login. What should I do?

I was having some problems with my mac, safari and itunes was freezing alot. I have to force shutdown and when I tried to start up again i get to the login page, type in my password and it starts to load, but then the screen turns blue for a few seconds and it goes back to the log in screen. Somewhat similar problem:
Put in the password, hit enter, the screen goes blue for half a second, then goes back to login screen and carries on logging in as usual. Drives me mad. It doesn't happen with a fresh Lion installation, nor if booted into safe mode. On the machine in question it also happens to new user accounts.
I've removed all login items, including Startup Items and Launch Demons (pun intended) and Agents, I've compared system login plists with a fresh Lion installation - can't see differences. I've removed Little Snitch and PeerGuardian (no more third party kexts).
@Carolyn: I've done disk maintenance with DiskUtility and fsck and even DiskWarrior, cleaned caches, etc. etc.
Any ideas would be gratefully received.
