Electronic buzz appears every 30 seconds through speaker/phones when audio in use.

1. Probook 4330s bought in August 2011
2. Windows XP
3. No error msg
4. No changes made. No physical damage. Just a few days ago I noticed the buzz -- like a half-second pulse of electronic interference. It appears every 30 seconds and occurs regardless of whether or not the machine is plugged into the wall. It also occurs even when the WiFi is closed. I even put it in the microwave (to shield from RF) and with my cellphones in another room, and it still occurred. I checked for updates to the audio drivers and all were "best version". So ... what to do?

I have had some problems that sound very similar to yours, a sort of buzz/glitch every 30 seconds or so, which you mainly notice when playing audio and/or video. My friend had the same problem, and it only occured after a bios update, but I had an even newer bios, which couldn't be downgraded.
So i got an unused laptop hdd, and installed a new windows on there, to install all the windows and HP updates etc. on there, to see whether it was a bios problem. And it wasn't. But after most of the updates were done, i did get the glitching/buzzing noise.
Using system restore to trace my steps I found out that the HP Power Assistant caused the problems!! So i got rid of it, and the problems were gone. Afterwards i checked it on internet and found more people with this problem (of course THEN you find more people with the same problem, you know, AFTER you've fixed it yourself...), and the way to solve it was to remove the HP Power Assistant software. So, give it a try, it's a pretty useless program anyway in my opinion...

I have the most up-to date software and I have pulled that battery.

That's just what happens when you do a battery pull. If your phone is turned OFF, the cache is not accessible. As you're probably aware, anytime any electronic device is acting up (PC, printer, modem, etc.), unplugging it will correct many issues; it's the same with your phone.
I can't offer a really technical explanation, just trust me on this one and remove your battery while your phone is ON.

In-coming calls on 8120 heard through speaker phone

When I answer a call on my new 8120 the first couple of seconds can be heard on the speakerphone. The caller then can only be heard as expected through the normal phone ear speaker.
How can I turn off this feature (if it is indeed a feature)? I don't want in-coming calls (at least the first seconds) to be heard by all in a crowded room.

Have all of your replacements been in an effort to solve this one problem? What model is your phone? I haven't tried to get a replacement phone mainly because the problem went away, I thought. It hasn't totally. It doesn't happen as frequently but still happens occasionally. I've yet to figure out if it happens in any certain mode, etc. Let us know if you get it figured out.

Can't get second drive to mount when starting up using OS 9.2.2.

I'm running a 400 MHz Sawtooth (800 meg ram) with a 20 gig master drive and 80 gig slave I recently installed. All is working fine when running in OS 10.4.3. I partitioned the slave drive and want to run VPC 4.0 in a OS 9.04 environment. I understand that I need to install VPC in the native OS 9 environment.
However, when I set the 9.2.2 system on my main drive as the startup (to allow the VPC installation), it refuses to recognize the second drive.
How do I get the second drive to mount?

I suspect when you formatted the new, second drive, you formatted it using Disk Utility under Mac OS X 10.4.x but did not select the option to "Install Mac OS 9 Disk Driver." Hence the second drive does not have the necessary drivers for Mac OS 9.2.2 to mount it.
See "Mac OS X: About the 'Install Mac OS 9 Drivers' Option in Disk Utility."
You'll need to reformat the second drive, either in Mac OS X and adding the cited option, or you can reformat the drive in Mac OS 9. Before you reformat the drive, be sure to backup any data you want to save from such.

Speaker noise when my mac uses wifi

So I just got a new Mac mini (actually it's refurbished, but I mean refurbished from Apple = new....:) and I notice my plug-in speaker has noise since then. At first, I didn't know why or when the noise goes off, but now I realized it's because the wifi. I guess it's because the frequency of the speaker and the wifi, so whenever I do anything that uses wifi, the noise goes off (i.e. load a web page, press the little wifi icon on the top... etc.). Just wondering if there is any chance I can fix this problem.. Or I just have to get a new speaker? 'Cause this never happens when I use my windows laptop..

If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

I was trying to use iTunes on her lap top w my iPhone, I got distracted & didn't realise it was syncing w her iTunes. Both mine and hers were initially there in iCloud storage manager on my ipone, but when I selected the 'turn off & delete' in storage manager in iCloud, hers reappears. Mine has completely gone & no longer shows when I turned backup back on.

Barcode on every second physical page

I'm trying to create a form letter report in 6i. The letter runs into several pages, but I need to print only the barcode on every second page. So when we do duplex printing, the barcode goes on the back of each page. All the components including the barcode are in one single repeating frame(master) and there is another repeating frame(detail)within. The data might sometimes overflow to subsequent pages depending on the detail. Also within the barcode I need to give the running number of logical pages.
Is there a simple way that Oracle handles this type of situations.
Any suggestions.

Instead of suppressing every second page I could just suppress every blank page. That would be fine as well.

Nokia Lumia 925 speaker phone is always "ON"

I just got a Nokia Lumia 925 replacement phone a couple of days ago and upon first using the phone feature the speaker phone is always ON, without the speaker phone tile being selected. If I click on the Speaker Phone Tile nothing changes, the phone remains on speaker phone when I talk on the phone. Is there a settnig I need to change or do I need to replace the phone.
In addition to this annoying problem, I can't answer calls in my car via handsfreelink. I can connect my phone to the car, I can hear the phone ring in the car when someone calls me, but the minute there is a connect I can't hear the person at all. I think it is related to this speaker phone problem.
Note: I haven't dropped it or got it wet. It's a brand new phone.

hi mate, check that the phone is up to date with the latest firmware along with the latest Nokia system app updates from the Store. also try performing a soft reset.
