    Hello. Does anyone know of any viable third-party electronic signature check printing products/companies that can be used alongside E-Business Suite (or as a stand-a-lone system)? Our Payables checks right now are manually stamped with 2 signatures and I'm looking for a more automated system. I would like to find out if there is a electronic signature stamping product that we can feed our Payables checks thru either during the payment process in Payables or after the checks are printed out of E-Business Suite. We will only have about 90% of the checks stamped though, the remaining 10% will be manually signed due to our procedures. I'm having trouble finding products that will electronically stamp the checks with 2 signatures.

  • Electronic Signatures for my company

    Hello,
    I am currently researching how to convert my companies practice from printing forms to using electronic forms. I'm wondering what's the best way to create and distribute electronic signature to every user on our network. I do not want people to have to go through the procress of creating self-signed digital IDs (if they don't have to) because not everyone in the company is computer savy to a actually go through. I'm also looking for users to be able to use their signatures on different computers.
    My question is this, what's the best method for a small-sized company to obtain and distribute electronic signatures? Should I look for a third-party product? If so, what are they your recommendations.

    I must confess to admit, I’m not sure which one would be better for my needs. As a beginner, I guess I’ll need something that’s easy to manage (for both myself and the company) while able to prevent users from signing as someone else.

  • Can I apply electronic signatures to secured PDF's and hide them?

    I currently have our product datasheets on secured PDF's (approximately 40,000 of them). We post these datasheets directly onto our website.
    What I am looking to do is to have 3 people electronically sign-off on each of these datasheets, before they are posted on our website -- however I do not want these signatures visible to the public.
    Thus, can I use electronic signatures with secured PDF's? And can I hide these signatures?
    Also, I have watched some of Adobe's videos as it pertains to group editing. Do you have any recommendations for more resources regarding this? How would I make sure that "Jim" doesn't sign something with "John"'s name?

    When they cannot be opened I forget what it says.  That's not much help I know.  File not found or something like that.  I can open an attachment from an e-mail see it, then save it to my computer and e-mail it to someone and they won't be able to read it. I will go back and check on it and sure enough I can't open it again. Frustrating.

    Has any one recently implemented/ added electronic signatures to their checks? We have been processing checks for a while in AP and hand signing them till now. Would like to add electronic signatures to this.
    What are the options and possibilities that this feature can be achieved? Would appreciate any input on all the possible solutions.

    You have lots of choices. You can use the various Electronic Forms software out in the market to accomplish this. For example, we use Optio to create laser checks from blank paper stock (no longer need to buy pre-printed check stock) and added an electronic signature as part of that processing. Optio was bought by Bottomline Technologies. Like I said, many vendors offer this kind of product. Oracle has the External Laser Format Payments program option. You can read about that in chapter 2 of the Oracle Payables Guide. As another person has noted, there are some documents you can look at as well. Is your company using any kind of Electronic Forms software today? If so, that may be the option that you will want to pursue first.

    How do you integrate Electronic signature to be printed on page / form ?
    Are you using any application which converts electronic form into digital or some other form ?
    In SharePoint ootb way there is no way to integrate electronic signature, but yes we have option for digital signature.
    For electronic signature I found one article (obviously third party), not sure if this fullfils your requiremewnt or not

  • Is there a difference between digital signature or electronic signature? Can BC do it?

    Can anyone point me to an example application of a digital or electronic signature?  Does using the term digital or electronic signature require additional technology?  Can it be done in BC?

    BC doesn't have this feature integrated.  You might want to look into some products out there that may help with your requirements.

    My department is currently looking at accepting e-signatures on our contracts.  However, we would like the signature to actually look like a wet signature, not just a typed name, we would also like some sort of validation that the name on the form is actually the person who signed it (i.e. someone isn't signing the CEOs name).  My manager was currently at a conference where she talked to someone from RPost.  She asked me to look into it.  I have discovered that there are a lot of e-signature companies out there.  How do you know which one is the best, and which one will work the best with Adobe forms?  Any information, or recommendations you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

  • My windows says i can't download firefox installer because file is corrupt, it does not have an electronic signature

    after i donated 5dollars to become a member of firefox, i was given a file to download onto my laptop. this file is suppose to allow me to begin the process of setting up or installing firefox into my laptop that i may browse the internet. after i saved this file into my laptop i tried to open the file so i may start the process of setting up firefox into my laptop but my system says firefox file is corrupt it does not have an electronic signature. therefore i can't complete the firefox set up process that will allow me to have firefox installed in my system that i may browse the internet.

    You should not be paying for firefox, delete whatever the file is and run malware checks on your computer.
    Obtain a proper version of firefox from say getfirefox.com for free and install that.

  • Multiple electronic signatures in PDF portfolio

    I Have a PDF portfolio that has multiple PDFs in it each requiring 1 or more electronic signatures.  The problem is that after the first person signs one of the PDFs no one else is able to and they receive an error saying it's already open or they have read only access

    Which Acrobat version do you have? I've heard that there is a bug in this area in Acrobat 11.0.7. I do not have personal experience with it and I do not know how soon it will be fixed.

    It sounds like the university has disallowed signing in this particular document, unless you have  Document Permissions password. You will have to ask the person who created the document what the password is, so that you can sign the document.
    I wish I had a different answer for you--but there's no way around that without the document password.

  • Can I open a Reader 9 Document with electronic signatures in Reader 10?

    I currently have an Adobe Reader 9 document with fields filled out and also with several electronic signatures.
    I need to be able to edit this document.
    My understanding is that I can only edit or add the typewritter tool only when using Reader 10.
    So couple of questions. First, will I be able to open this Reader 9 document using Reader 10?
    Second, will I be able to add the typewritter tool once I download Reader 10?
    Third, will I be able to make changes to existing form field data, once I add the typewritter tool?
    Fourth, will this process invalidate the digital signatures already authenticated?

    The "Typewriter tool" is only available in Acrobat Pro. Reader 11 DOES have the ability to "Add text comments" to a PDF but it isn't exactly the same thing. I'm unsure if "comments" will print or not.
