Electronic signatures with Form Central?
I am wanting to create a registration/waver form in which members could fill out and electronically sign online. What is the best way to do this? I have used Form central in the past to create other forms, but I don't know if there is a way to add a "signature" to those forms.

With Forms Central can I set up a form to send out an automatic PDF document like a quote?
With Forms Central can I set up a form to send out an automatic PDF document like a quote? In other words when my customer fills out the form and puts their email address on the form it automatically sends them a PDF quote on a piece of merchandise that I have. If not is Form Central compatible with Web Merge?

At this time FormsCentral does not have the ability to send the PDF in the "Email Reciept", you can set up Email Reciepts to send the form filler a reciept with the form data, but it does not attach a PDF of the form.
FormsCentral is not compatible with Web Merge.

Insert Electronic Signature on form.
I have created a document (form) which will be operated internally and then pdf'd and sent to a client (like an order form) I would like to put an electronic signature on the base of the form and did stumble across signatures but now (that im ready to do it) I cannot find how.

If you create a online web from in FC, or export it as a PDF to local, you might unable to add a signature to the form. But If you create a PDF form with acrobat Pro on local, you can add a signatures to the form with Echosign.

I see previous discussion about capturing a signature in Adobe Forms. We need to obtain applicant signatures, and I'm wondering is there a way to do this on the form, that would be returned in the collection of the responses?
I'm open to other suggestions that might help resolve this issues. I see mention of Echo Sign, but I don't believe you can tie this to the Forms Central database.

I believe there's an option for customer signatures.
Distribute forms as a writable PDF.
Give respondents time to complete the PDF offline and submit online.
Allow respondents to download PDF or save for their records.

Is data analysis possible with Forms Central?
Does FormsCentral have an internal feature that you turn on, wherein it gives you an average rating of specific collected data? For instance, if I am doing a survey, does Forms Central have the capacity to give me a statistics report of the collected answers to one question?

To answer your first question: yes, you can construct an Enterprise Data Warehouse using the Business Objects product stack.
BO Data Integrator XI (now bundled with Data Quality in the Data Services XI offering) is very well suited to design enterprise-strength ETL processes to load, transform and cleanse your source data. Adobe LiveCycle Designer compatible with Forms Central?
I have 50+ forms created by Adobe LiveCycle Designer. Company upgraded to Forms Central and was told LiveCycle created forms are still editable in Forms Center. But it will not allow me to edit any of my forms. Need to recreate from scratch? LiveCycle says password protected, so I changed to no security, and it will not accept my password. Reset on Adobe.com but will not recognize it. Now all of my forms are useless. Any suggestions?

It sounds as though you may have been given some bad information. Adobe FormsCentral doesn't support LiveCycle forms. Please see Convert LiveCycle Designer form into Form Central (Forms) for additional information.

Electronic signature and intranet security

I find the 9.0 version of Adobe Acrobat professonal really annoying. I am creating a lot of PDF-documents which are to be presented on my company's Intranet pages. What is really disturbing is that I have to electronically sign all the PDFs - otherwise when opening a PDF document via a link from another PDF document on our intranet the user gets this pop-up question "are you sure this information comes from a trusted source ...etc" due to the security level set for the www. In earlier versions this phenomen did not exist. It is disturbing for the users to get all these pop-up messages when navigating through our intranet which we as a whole consider safe. It causes me a LOT of extra work having to sign and save all documents an extra time every time I make a document change. There must be a way to turn off this ******** or I'm throwing away my Acrobat 9.0 license (anyone who wants to exchange it with an older version.
One more thing - is there an easy way to - one and for all - set that I want all the PDFs I create to be saved without showing all the stuff like the menu row and the tools list when the users opens the PDF. Every time I make a change to a PDF I have to set these conditions over and over again.... not really very user friendly!!!!check this

Picture Library called "Electronic Signatures" that stores pictures of
the users scanned signatures, with their username as the
"Description"<o:p></o:p>
I have a
List called "PIN List" where I store a list of PINs with the username
as the "Title" of the item...<o:p></o:p>
I have a
Web Browser enabled form where I created a data connection to the "PIN
List" and another one to the Picture Library.<o:p></o:p>
NOTE:
Remember that the field "Description" on the picture library is = to
the "Title" field on the PIN list<o:p></o:p>
This is
what I had in mind:<o:p></o:p>
Get the
username in a field on the form and ask the use to enter his PIN in another
field.<o:p></o:p>
If the PIN
entered by the user is = to the pin stored on the "PIN List" where
[username() - is equal to - "Title"] insert an image stored in the
Picture Library where [username() - is equal to - "Description"]<o:p></o:p>
In short
what I'm trying to do is to validate the user with a PIN number and if it passes
validation to show an image of his/her signature on the form...<o:p></o:p>
How crazy
does this sound???? I would appreciate if you can tell me how to implement it

Troubleshooting Electronic Signature in Adobe X Standard
Trying to assist a coworker in setting up an electronic signature with password. When walking her through the screens, I noticed the "Add Digital ID" popup box does not show "Key Algorith" or "Use digital ID for" sections (mine does). She does not get the prompt to make up a password and enter twice. She says that she gets a box that wants her to enter a password but she has not created one. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. I am new to Adobe so I am limited in my knowledge.
Employee states this solved the password problem but now her written signature is extremely small when placed on a document.

Can I apply electronic signatures to secured PDF's and hide them?
Hello,
I currently have our product datasheets on secured PDF's (approximately 40,000 of them). We post these datasheets directly onto our website.
What I am looking to do is to have 3 people electronically sign-off on each of these datasheets, before they are posted on our website -- however I do not want these signatures visible to the public.
Thus, can I use electronic signatures with secured PDF's? And can I hide these signatures?
Also, I have watched some of Adobe's videos as it pertains to group editing. Do you have any recommendations for more resources regarding this? How would I make sure that "Jim" doesn't sign something with "John"'s name?When they cannot be opened I forget what it says. That's not much help I know. File not found or something like that. I can open an attachment from an e-mail see it, then save it to my computer and e-mail it to someone and they won't be able to read it. I will go back and check on it and sure enough I can't open it again. Frustrating.
