Elegant way of obtaining the domain a computer is in.

Im not worried about portability, im just looking for a preferably elegant solution to obtain the domain an XP computer is part of. The program will only be run on xp machines within one of two domains. The idea being the active directory program i've written will only connect to the domain the computer is part of. The only method that comes to mind immediately is messing around with system environment variable 'userdnsdomain' but this involves untidy and (unnecessary?) batch commands. Any ideas? Thanks.

Still, I think, for your case, if you do not have to deal with a multi-record block, you should use the HINT property for that item and set_item_property with the HINT argument for that item in order to set the hint to the item's value - this should set_item_property should be called on the when-new-record-instance .

Remember double has a fixed precision, so even if negative infinity existed, it would not be accurately represented by a double.

IWeb domain is gone.. is there a way to reload the domain without the file?

My hard drive crashed and died and with it went the original domains for iWeb in the Application Support folder in the Library.
The iWeb websites are still up and running on line. Is there a way to create the original domain icon in iWeb without the original domain icon in the Application Support folder in the Library?
Or do you have to completely rebuild the website in iWeb. If I have to rebuild the entire website how do I get rid of the working website on Safari?

Is there a cheaper way to learn/obtain the adobe suite?

I want to learn how to use adobe design studio but $480 is still too expensive for this college student (also im currently looking for a on campus job).... Is there a way of getting it any cheaper or il even take CS4 the previous version at a much cheaper price if they have it? I do not want to pirate it because i think it steals all the hard work the developers have done. Currently im working on a self project and graphics for the TV news club that im in. They do have copies at the studio but it is locked when nobody is there so i can only try it out once a week, plus they are the older versions of the suite, and the computer lab at Webb only has about 4 avaliable macs that have the whole suite and every time i have a moment to go to the lab they are taken often.... If there is a better way to obtain the software please tell me! Right now im using gimp and my trial is about to expire. If there is no other way i understand.

That is what you may have been told, but it does not work. Adobe's licensing system is designed to prevent that. In fact there are many complaints about people who have installed the trial and uninstalled it due to problems and complain how the re-install won't work.
People complain about almost everything in this world because the level of their knowledge is not up to scratch. After uninstalling, you need to clear the registry entries (in a Windows system) and this will allow you to install again. However, this is an adobe forum so I do not want to discuss this matter anymore here.

2) You are raising a different issue - which is NOT a SDK question + has 2 different aspects:
a) Setting the same authorizations for multiple users in the same company:
Simply Drag&Drop a "user" over another to give the latter the same authorizations as the first one.
b) Setting the same authorizations for multiple users in the different company:

In 2005 you can use the CopyExpress SAP Add-On to do this; I am not sure whether it was possible with the old "BC Sets" Add-On...
3) You talk about some bug where authorizations got reset.

Could you please explain more what you are trying to do and have done?
You can not purchase a domain name through Business Catalyst so you would have not obtained a domain you listed there. You have to by it from a domain registra.
If you have just entered a domain into the domain manager of your website but have not purchased the domain, this will not work. You have to obtain the domain first.
If you have got your domain, have you gone into the domain settings of BC and added the domain in? Have you gone to the domain registra and changed either the A-record or the NS records to point to your BC site?

Is there a way to supplement the download with the box?

Having successfully claimed, downloaded and installed the complimentary Photoshop 13 ("CS6") for having bought Photoshop 12.x in April, is there a way to obtain the install DVD in the box for CS6 at a nominal or at least reasonable cost?
During the claim processing as per the email instructions, it was impossible to change from "Download" to "Ship the box to me" without the price jumping from $0.00 to something like $195 for requesting the box.
Just wondering if anyone has managed to get the box at a nominal charge from Adobe.
Obviously, I've burned the download to disc already; it's just that this would be the first version of Photoshop for which I don't have the box since I started with Photoshop version 5 some ten years ago years ago and have upgraded through the years, only skipping Photoshop 6.x, as I went from 5.x to 7.x.

Is there any way to put the domain directories somewhere other than in the config
directory in WebLogic 6.0?

possible to set the WLS-Home and the Site-Home directory
with the propertys "weblogic.home" and "weblogic.system.home".

LAG & LEAD functions... Any Way to Retrieve the 1st non-NULL Values?

My question is this... Has anyone found an elegant way of getting the LAG & LEAD functions to move to the 1st NON-NULL value within the partition, rather than simply using a hard-coded offset value?

The LAG function works well when there's only a single null value in a sequence but doesn't do the job if there's more than a singe NULL in the sequence.

In reality, this isn’t exactly a true answer to the original question regarding the LAG & LEAD functions, being that it uses the MAX function instead, but who cares? It still uses a windowed function to solve the problem with a single pass at the data.
I also did a little additional testing to see if casting to BINARY(4) worked across the board with a variety of data types or if the number needed to be adjusted based the data… Here’s one of my test scripts…

Looks like BINARY(4) is just fine for any INT or DATE/DATETIME values. Bumping it up to 8 was need to capture the largest BIGINT value. For text strings, the number simply needs to be set to the column size. I tested up to 255 characters without a problem.
It’s not included here, but I did notice that the NUMERIC data type doesn’t work at all. From what I can tell, SS doesn't like casting the binary value back to NUMERIC (I didn't test DECIMAL).

Any quick way of finding the wrapper type for arbitrary primitives?

does anyone know a way of obtaining the equivalent wrapper class for any primitive type? eg, if I have a reference to long.class, is there a way of resolving this to Long.class, other than maintaining a Map<Class, Class> myself?

Last time I had to do this I was using 1.4. I couldn't find an easier way of doing it other than using a map.
AFAIK nothing has come along in java 5 which makes this any easier - but then I dont know very much so don't take my word for it.

On your integration profile, did you set the debug level to 63? You should have a _____.aud and a _____.trc file in your $ORACLE_HOME/ldap/odi/log directory that will provide more info. Did you start your DIP server (odisrv) with the oidctl command?
You might also look at downloading the "diptester" utility for troubleshooting OID synchronization issues.

The production servers to which these are deployed do not allow packet sniffing - against security rules.

In our environment, the server.log captures everything it captures, and we log using log4j into different logs, that are then monitored and parsed for various informations.
I want to pass in the raw XML message into our audit-logger (which is a web service invocation); how do I do this?
I have tried using string($input-xml), but that is not allowed "input-xml is a WSDL type" - I have to put string($input-xml.parameters) instead, and that gets rid of all of the XML tags.
We need to see the badly formed XML arriving, so we can tell the coder on the other side "this is the issue, friend".
How do I do it?
