Elements 10 downloading?

I have purchased Elements 10 but was unable to get it to download. So, I decided to download the trial version, then convert it. Two days later, I still haven't downloaded anything.
I have downloaded the Assistant. I have disabled my virus software.
I'll admit big time ROOKIE, but I can usually download a piece of software! My first ever Adobe (other than reader).
I hope someome can give me some direction.

Double click on the Adobe Download Assistant icon on the desktop.
Log-in with your Adobe ID and password
Select Photography from the pull down menu.
Click on the word download under the Elements 10 Application.

Using elements photo-downloader

I have just bought PSE 9 to g with Premiere elements 9, I had been only downloading video clips to my computer via elements photo-downloader, but now I'm putting on photos as well, the photos are now loading into the main file (I specified) on C that my video clip were going to - I guess it looks a bit of a mess, but is that normal, or is it possible to specify that photos download into a different file than the videos? If it is possible, how do I do this?

Open the Organizer and press Ctrl+G to bring up the downloader dialog.
Click the Browse button and choose My Pictures or a folder of your choice (My Pictures is the best option as Adobe uses as the Watch folder by default).
Then connect your camera or card reader.
If you already have photos in folders Click File >>Get Photos >>From Files & Folders
Browse to a folder and press Ctrl+A to select all images and click Get Media or Open.

If I buy the Photoshop ELements 11 Download, meaning no hard copy is being sent to me in the mail, can I download it on my two computers? I own both a desktop and a laptop.

It doesnt matter if you have a hard copy or a downloaded copy.
As per the End User License Agreement (EULA), at any given instance you are eligible to install the software on 2 computers.

Can't install Photoshop Elements after downloading

I just purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements and downloaded it to my new laptop (MacBook Air OS X, 10.7.2). It has apparently downloaded completely but when I click the Install button, I get the message "The following disk images couldn't be opened, invalid checksum". I went back to the software library and downloaded it again, as suggested, and it still didn't work. Please help!

No, I haven't had any problems with other disc images. I checked to see that Photoshop had downloaded completely and it had (.dmg). I don't have an inti-virus program to disable, I restarted the computer and clicked on the installation icon again, and each time that I did that, the same message appeared. I have not yet gotten as far the screen which asks for the registration #.

What you just wrote may have revealed the Photoshop Elements Premiere Elements integration consideration. If you have Premiere Elements 11, you need Photoshop Elements 11 for the integration between the programs to produce the DVD version of the Photoshop Elements Slideshow.
All along I was picturing Meyerswalter already in Premiere Elements 11/Publish+Share/Disc/DVD and being told to install Premiere Elements to get the burn to disc accomplished.
But, if Meyerswalter is using Premiere Elements 11 and a non integrated version of Photoshop Elements for this matter, that could very well fit.
So, Meyeswalter, so that we can dispel those thoughts
a. What versions of Photoshop Elements are you using with Premiere Elements 11? And, are you in the Photoshop Elements Slideslide Show Editor using the Output of Burn to Disc DVD or Edit with Premiere Elements Editor and getting the load software message somewhere along the line?
b. To prove this point, if you have not already, what happens if you take Photoshop Elements out of the equation. Import some media into Premiere Elements 11 and try to burn to disc from there Publish+Share/Disc/DVD?
If that is the core of the issue, I will post a list of Photoshop Elements Premiere Elements integrated combos as a guideline for you.
If this is the core of the issue, you could always keep the non Photoshop Elements 11 version that you have, output the slideshow to a wmv file sized for DVD and then import that into Premiere Elements 11 via its Add Media. More on that later if necessary since right now I am speculating on an explanation for what you are encountering.

/Applications/Adobe Photoshop Elements 12/Support Files
and double click on the
Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor.app
then to keep the ps 12 editor icon in the dock so you can start it from there, right click on the pse 12 icon in the dock and under Options, click Keep in Dock

I bought Intuos 5 touch tablet, which was sold with elements 10 program. I downloaded the complementary program following instructions on the cd, but cannot activate the download without a serial number.

The serial number for PSE is a 24-digit number beginning with 1057. It's usually on the paper sleeve for bundled versions. If not, you would need to contact wacom, since the distributor is responsible for serial numbers for bundled versions.
