Elements 10 installer

The Elements 10 installer will not install on my 64 bit system and there does not seem to be a 64 bit installer available

Sorry, sent it by e-mail but obviously slower!
1. Are you installing Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 or Premiere Elements 10.
I had no problem installing Premiere Elements 10, but could not install Elements 10
2. Which operating system are you trying to install the software on.
Windows 7 64 bit
3. Did you download the software or do you have a disc for installation.
Downloaded
4. Do you receive any error message when you try to install.
Various, but I copied this one:
Exception EAccess violation in module Photoshop Elements_10_LS15.exe. Access violation at address 0041B836 in module “Photoshop Elements_10_LS15.exe”. Read of address 00000009.

  • Photoshop elements installation problems

Hi there. I have a purchased disk of adobe photoshop elements 9 and i am having problems installing it on my MAC.
I tried to download it as well in case there was something wrong with the CD but the same problem appeared as well. It says "Inconsistency in the installer database. Please restart your computer and install again." This appears in the middle of the installation procedure. My MAC runs OS X and the version is 10.6.7.
I also tried the adobe support advisor but it didn't detect anything.
    PLease help

    Hi Jeff,
thank you for you're answer. As already posted before, i tried every solution that came from the adobe support or i found in the web.
This included the solutions in the posted link. I deinstalled every adobe product on my Laptop and my complete antivirus and web Protection suite. I even made changes in the registry, that were suggested from the adobe support.
I had solutions from adobe developer after analycing my log files. That is the reason I spent this much time with installations tries.
That is the reason I asked for a service pack, because I see no chance in getting this version installed.
will there be a patch or something like that?
    thanks Michael

  • Premiere Elements installation problem.

    Hi.
My name is Martin. I have recently upgraded laptops to a MacBook Pro, and the package Adobe Photoshop with Premiere Elements 10 will not install properly on my new laptop. Photoshop installed with no problems whereas Premiere Elements will not. I have tried several occasions, with no success. The serial numbers are correct as well as system requirments, so will appreciate any advice.
    Many thanks.

  • Photoshop Element Installation Problems

As the installation wizard gets to the end, it stops and says that the wizard was interrupted and I need to run setup again.  It deletes all the files that was installed.  It happens when it says "rolling back actions".  I am running Vista Ultimate 64x system.  Please help someone.  This is the free trial I am trying to install.

With my VERY grateful thanks to Aedan, I have now successfully loaded Elements 8 on to my PC (XP) and my laptop (Vista Home Premium)..hooray. Try the following steps which worked for me:
    C:\program files\common files\Adobe pcd\cache...delete "cache.db" to re-cycle bin.
    Try installing Elements 8 again.
These steps sorted my Elements 8 loading problems so hope that they work for you too. Please let me know if this works for you.
    Go Well.

  • Premiere Elements Installation

When installing Premiere Elements 11 on my Windows 7 laptop, I get to the destination drive section and change the drive from my c: drive (system files) to my d: drive (data).  On clicking next the installer tells me that the c: drive doesn't have space.  I don't want to save it to the c: drive but it won't register the change.  Can anyone suggest how I can get it to recognise that I want it on the d: drive?

    Amanda,
You can try the suggestions as below:
    1. Make sure that the system meets the minimum requirements
    2. Delete previously installed application files.
    3. Check the CD and CD-ROM drive.
    4. Install Photoshop Elements or Adobe Premiere Elements from the desktop.
    5. Install current Windows service packs and other updates
    6. Install Photoshop Elements or Adobe Premiere Elements in a simplified mode.
    7. Install as an Administrator.
    8. Install to a folder at the root level of the hard drive.
If the above steps dont workout for you feel free to go ahead and follow the advanced steps from the link below:

  • Elements Installation Issues!  HELP!

I've had a nightmare time getting Elements 10 installed and am ready to give up - except for the money I've spend.
I was originally trying to download on an older PC, but it wouldn't download - NOTHING worked.  That computer finally crashed so I gave up and moved over to a new MacBookPro and it still isn't working.  I'm getting a new error now, but still no installation.
I've successfully downloaded the Bundle from the Akamai Session, but when I try to run the .exe file it simple opens a text file of symbols.  It won't run the installation.
    HELP!!!

I downloaded the Mac Trail and it DID accept the serial number that I have.
However once it installed I got this error.  Any ideas now?

  • Premier Elements Installation

Just tried twice to install Premiere elements on a Mac (OS 10.10.2) and each time when I try to launch the prog a dialogue says it's damaged. The tried to install Application Manager 8.0 and the "update", as it seems to be, fails with message "Installer failed to initialize". Anyone any ideas?

What version of Premiere Elements on your Mac computer operating system?
I would encourage you to do the Premiere Elements uninstall and reinstall by the typical Mac way.
But, between the uninstall and the reinstall, please do a free ccleaner run through to get rid of leftovers from
    incomplete uninstalls and reinstalls.
    CCleaner - Download
Until proven otherwise, this is not the Adobe Tool that you were pointed to.
Where are your installation files coming from - Adobe, as purchased download or other?
Are you doing the installs with the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled?
Please review and consider and offer more details. Depending on your details and if necessary, I will post
an alternative source for obtaining new installation files for your purchased serial number.
    Thank you.

  • Premier elements installer question

I downloaded premier elements 12 and photoshop elements 12 and neither will lauch an installer.
how do I get this software installed and operable?

Nobody can know. you have not provided any system information. The installers not even launching, however, probably means that you don't meet the system requirements. Look them up on the product pages.

  • Still battling Premier Element installation.

I have a download from March--will not install.
I have a download from June--will not install.
I have the CD--will not install.
I keep getting a message to uninstall and reinstall, error message:1
    Quicktime no longer works.
I downloaded the Adobe Download assistant and foolishly choose to not install at that time and now it is sitting on my desktop with absolutely no menu to use it
What ticks me off is I had it installed and registered and working.  When I opened PSE 12 yesterday it said I needed to register it, even though I had.already done so.  It was a nuisance but within a few minutes I was back editing photos.  I thought that since that was so easy I might as well do Premier elements, too. It would not open, even though it had before.  I have been on a downward slide since.  My feeling is this: you put the disk in, click a coupla times and it works!  I have downloaded more crap from Adobe (Air, twice; Quicktime, twice; Application manger, twice: download assistant, even Creative cloud)  in the fruitless pursuit to install  something that really could be semi-easy but is not for reasons unknown.  I've "installed" PRE STI64 installer- twice;  It just sits there with Download Assitant like two lumps of clay. There is no menu to allow me to use it. It was the only .exe file I could find in the PRE12 folder.
I must stress I love PSE 12, I am not a critic of the software, I have no axe to grind; in short, I am an ally, But this business with  Premier Elements is driving me to distraction.  I have spent hours, many hours of frustration with this project.
One more thing, I cannot find a means by which to edit my user name and remove my email address from it.
I wish to thank those of you who have so kindly and quickly responded to my call for help.

I do not work for Adobe nor am I affiliated with in it in any way. I have no promotional interests in Adobe, only the interests of a fellow Premiere Elements user. So, please keep that in mind in what I am about to write.
I think we got off on the wrong foot with this thread issue. All the chat about duplicate threads did not help matters. As you can see, there was no troubleshooting of issue ever started for your issue. And, it looks like your thread (duplicate or not) got lost in the daily traffic here. I apologize for the latter since I try to make sure that no thread is left unanswered with a viable answer. I do that because I want to, not because I am told to do that. (It does not take me from June 14th to June 21st to think about an issue as reflected in the lapse of time since my last post in the thread that we are in now until now.)
If you have decided to close this thread and pursue other avenues for your video editing, we wish you the best.
If you want to get into some real troubleshooting, then please let me know. The following is a preview of my initial troubleshooting strategy based on what you wrote.
    1. What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12 to work on?
    2. The fact that QuickTime, as a standalone software, is no longer working in your computer environment implies that Premiere Elements 12 is probably not the core of the issue.
    3. I would like you to contact Adobe via its Adobe Chat to sort through the topic "Downloading, Installing, and Setting Up". Two reasons...it can offer you remote control of your computer for troubleshooting and it may have undocumented information that impacts your specific situation. To do that, click on the following link, and, when it opens, click on "Still need help? Contact us." to open Adobe Chat. I set the following link to open to that web page with the "Still need help? Contact us." spot to click on. Not sure the link will hold the set. Hope so. If not, you may have some navigating to do.
    Contact Customer Care
In the process you should finally arrive at what looks like the following
Under Contact options, Recommended, click on the Chat choice. This appears to be a new Adobe format for Adobe Chat
    contact.
Please let us know the outcome if you do pursue this troubleshooting opportunity. If you opt not to, you need not reply to
this thread and can just consider your participation in the thread closed as of your post 4.
    Best wishes

Well, I don't use it, but there must be something in the menu you access from the menubar icon that will let you turn it off temporarily.

  • Photoshop Elements Installer Wont Open

    Hey all,
I just downloaded the adobe photoshop elements trial. After it had finished downloading i double clicked the only file that downloaded to run it and it would not. In the properties window it says it is a "File" and nothing else. Also in the description it says "Adobe Extractor" but it wont run. When i try to it just asks me what program do i want to use to open it.
    Help would be appreciated,
    Thanks
PS: I have attached a screenshot of the properties window.

Nevermind it turned out to be a simple fix, i just added ".exe" to the end of the file name.
