Elements 10 Problem

I purchased and downloaded Elements 10, when I try to open it, the screen comes up then a window pops up saying that Photoshop has encountered a problem and needs to close.
I have not been able to use the probram. Is there anyway to repair this?

Did you receive any error messages during the install process? You may also want to check your install logs by following the steps listed at Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6- http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html.

Photoshop Elements problems

I bought Photoshop Elements 10 in March and I have not been able to use it. Photoshop Premiere Trial version will not load and the Inspiration Browser will not load. Also any valuable help you get with this product, you have to pay for it (as if purchasing the product was not enough). I am very disappointed in this product and I actually want my money back.

I am not able to do anything in Photoshop Elements.

File Upload element Problem

Hello All,
We have a problem regarding the File Upload button in Webdynpro.
when we upload a file using this element and goto another view and comeback, the upload element is not showing any filename.
But when debugged, the fileupload context node still has the data. Just it is not showing in the UI.
Is it an existing problem with File Upload? Or do we have to do anything to make the filename visible.

Elements problem after divx codec install

hi all,
I am having an interresting problem and I am hoping someone can give me some advice.
I have been running Premiere Elements 8 for a while and a it has been working fine. a few days ago I tried to install the divx codec. Now I open Premiere Elements and it will open, load my project, then minimize and I can not get it to restore.
I have uninstalled divx but no luck.
I also did a windows system restore to a previous state but had no luck there either.
I am running Windows 7 64 Bit.
on a quad core Intel Q6700 processor
intel motherboard
8 GB of Ram
ATI FirePro V4800 (FireGL) Video card
dual monitor.
I am suspecting the codec updated a driver somewhere that is causing a conflict.
I had similar problems with Photoshop elements 8 and had to disable my twain drivers to get it to work.
any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum.
I have used the DivX CODEC, plus the DivX Pro Encoder for years, with zero issues, until the most recent update of DivX with both its CODEC and its player. Did not update the DivX Pro Encoder.
First, these problems have not affected PrE 4.0, running on XP-Pro SP3, so there ARE many differences to your setup. With those differences, I am not at all sure that my observations will apply to your installation and your system.
The only problem that I encountered was that the DivX player seized the File Type Associations for all AVI's, so that Dbl-clicking on any, would always Open them in the DivX player. The new one is filled with ads for all sorts of things, and reminds me of the old RealPlayer from years ago. Also, those ad often lead to a dead-end, from which the only recourse is to buy whatever the ad features, or go to Task Manager and Kill the process - really, really bad move DivX. All it took was going to Control Panel>Folder Options>File Type and changing the AVI associations back to my desired player, MediaPlayer Classic HC. Fixed.
That was my only issue with any version of the DivX CODEC, or the DivX player. Still, I made note of it.
That does not mean that on your system, and with PrE 8, something in there might not have broken.
I would check the file associations in Control Panel, and reset any, that DivX Player might have changed, then test.
While you are at it, also update both your video driver and your audio driver, from their mfgr. Web site.
Good luck, and maybe others will have tips or suggestions.

Workflows : Multiline Container Element problem.

Hi,
I got a new problem. Well I got a requirement to collect COMMENTS from MULTI-LEVEL Supervisors and display them in the work item preview. So in these regards, I had declared a Multiline Container element in my Workflow and passed it to some method to get the comments. Well I had succeeded till this point. But there is a problem when I tried to display them in WORKITEM.
Well, all the lines are getting displayed continously in the Work Item preview.
Is there any solution for this ?
Like I want to display the Multiline Container element line wise. Not as a concatenated single line which is happening right now.
In the Work Item Text part I used it as ...

Well, I tried including the MULTI LINE Element in a Mail step. It gave me all the three options of printing.
First one is...
Only first line of Container element can be printed using
&COMMENT&
Second one is...
All the lines of Container element can be printed in a single line as &COMMENT[]&
Third one is...
All the lines of Container element can be printed in seperate lines as &COMMENT##&
I used the third one. It worked even the same in Work Item also.

COPA cost base same cond. map to NET Sales different cost elements problem

Hi Guru,
I have the following issue:
I mapped ONE billing condition type assigned to ONE value field. ZPCD is assigned to value field VV110 (net sales)
That one condition type can post to 2 different cost element based on the account assignment group of the item
One cost element is set up and revenue type 11 and the value is posted to COPA value field NET SALES
The other cost element is set up as cost type 1 and the posting to COPA is blank i.e. no posting to value field NET SALES
In both cases a COPA document is created i.e. total 2 COPA documents one for each posting.
What is the problem??

For the purchased products, you may perhaps use the condition type VPRS to bring in the material price from the material master.

Lightroom Edit in Elements problem

I have Lr3 and Elements10, when in Lr and I go to photo-edit and choose elements, the Elements program launches fully but the photo doesn't show.
If I go photo-edit and choose PS this opens the photo no problem, even though it's PS CS1.
Can anyone help?

I've managed to sort the problem, I have a Mac so in LR Preferences go to External Editing, Adobe Photoshop CS for me was already chosen in the upper box. In the Additional External Editor box go to 'Choose' navigate to Applications/Adobe Photoshop Elements/Support Files and choose 'Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor'.
Just choosing the first Adobe Photoshop Elements opened up the Elements window where you choose Organise or Edit and failed to open the file from LR.
I do thing it's poor that Adobe cannot fix this problem or give clearer advice, I only realised when viewing Adobe's tutorial 'Using Lightroom and Elements together' and it shows navigating to Elements Editor. How many people like me intuitively chose the first Adobe Photoshop Elements icon when navigating, it's certainly not intuitive to go into support files. So come on Adobe, fix this or make it clearer.

ADF treeTable element problem

Can anybody help with a small trouble i faced as tried to fit an ADF treeTable element in my application.
I've created a down-hierarchy tree which includes elements of two levels: parent elements and child elements.
The source code of a tree model element in a respective page defenition file looks like this

The problem is that for some nodes i have to click the mouse button twice to have the action handler trigger.
A first click leads to what it seems like a simple repost and the second click works properly. By the way i occasionally get the following message as i click my tree-node links.
<ActionListenerTag$BindingActionListener><processAction> JSF1043: ActionListener for component 'tt1:5:ot2' will not be processed - both binding and type are null.It's weird that the underlined message and wrong behavior take place not in a regular way, for some tree nodes only.

the reason for not getting an answer is that you describe a problem that exists on the view layer and show th etree definition on the ADF binding layer.

Spry Element Problems...

Hello!
I am working on my website and getting conflicts with Spry Elements. I have inserted a Spry Menu at the top of my page in a fixed position, and then in the content area of my page I have Spry Tabs. The problem is that even though I have the z-index up to 1000 for the menu, when it drops down over the tab the tab can be seen through it and even selected. However, I cannot find a z-index property for the Tab css anywhere, and even when I add one well below my menu it still shines through.
Since both Spry elements autocreate their own css pages and javascript files I assume it is something in there that is causing it.
Anyone have an easy answer?

You'll probably need to create your own. Z-index (stacking order) only works on positioned (relative, absolute or fixed) elements.

Camera Raw 6.6 for Elements problem on iMac

Downloaded and am trying to install the latest Camera Raw 6.6 for Elements on a Mac.. Fresh boot, and run install package, after testing package, and asking for password.. Package stalls with a "need to close ElementsAutoAnalyzer" message... Nothing is running on the Mac that I can find.. Have rebooted, and re-tried several times with the same problem..
Anyone have any insight???

Adobe Photoshop Elements problem

When I installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 on my Mac, I made a stupid mistake (didn't realise at the time what i was doing, but...oops.) To keep all my art-type software together, i dragged it into a folder. Now, when I try to update it, it says 'Can't update - unable to locate files. I uninstalled it, then re-installed: this hasn't helped at all. Same problem.
I can use the program - tho don't know how much I'm unable to access because of this.
Any helpful suggestions?
One other slightly related problem: I have a Wacom Intuous 2 A4 Oversize. When I installed this & tried to use it, the pen/mouse work on tablet, but a message comes up: 'No Driver Installed. Visit website to install'. I've done this several times, the correct driver appears to install with message saying it's been successful, yet when I try to use it, 'No driver' box appears.
I've tried uninstalling the whole app, then reinstalling; no luck. I know it should work with my Mac, as it's fine with someone who has the identical Mac set-up & Wacom as mine. (Shame i've lost her number...)
Once more, any ideas gratefully received.

If you didn't put the PSE folder back into the top level of applications before you ran the PSE uninstaller (you did use the uninstaller, right?), I'm afraid you've made kind of a mess that's going to take some rooting around to sort out. You need to download and run this:

(I'm hesitant about linking this version, but the older cleanscript isn't available any longer, so it's what you'll have to use--PSE is based on the PS code). Then look around and manually remove what you can find. Don't use Spotlight to search--it won't find these kinds of files. You want to look in Library>application support>adobe particularly (note that this is the library at the top level of your hard drive, not system>library or your username>library).
EDIT If you have any other adobe products installed, I would deactivate/remove them before using this, regardless of what the technote says.

Subclass in queue element problem

I have an interesting and unexpected problem that I'm not sure if it might be LabVIEW working as intended or if this might be a real issue. I'm going to do my best to describe the situation
i have a class called settings.lvclass
i have a class called settings child.lvclass which inherits from settings.
In my main application I queue up settings.lvclass and throw the queue into a queue manager.vi which performs many functions but regarding this issue it has a control that is a queue with settings.lvclass as the element. Now i am getting a broken wire when i throw a queue with element settings child.lvclass into that control. I'm not sure if this is working as intended but I would think that this shouldn't matter since in OOP terminology settings child.lvclass IS A settings.lvclass.
Just something i thought either i was doing wrong or possibly the devs might like this brought to their attention. Anyone have any suggestions on how to possibly work around this without having to make a separate queue manager.vi?

Please post images so its easier for use to follow you. Without the image I can only venture a guess. have you concidered using the "to more spcific class" to convert the child class wire to it parents type before wiring to the cluster?

STATISTICAL COST ELEMENT PROBLEM

following is my problem-:
i has craeted a 'Statistical Internal Order' in which i assigned a responsible 'Cost Center' n simultaneously i created a 'Primary cost element' & a 'Statistical cost element' under category 90.
when i m posting a document through T. Code FB50 in which i give above mentioned G.Ls (cost element)& enter the above mentioned 'Statistical internal Order', after hitting the enter button the responsible cost center comes in the cost center column only infront of 'primary cost element' not in front of 'statistical cost element.
my question is why cost center is ot coming infront of statistical cost element n how it will come.

GL Accounts are always assigned to Real Cost elements and not Statistical Cost element.
Further when you hit a Statistical Internal order, the GL Account/Real primary cost element would require a real cost object, hence it is popping up the Cost center assigned in the Statistical Internal order which is correct.
Statistical cost element can't have any Cost center (real) assgined

Jnlp file parameter element problem

Hello all,
I have a jar file which contains all the class files and an configuration file of type(.cfg).
For my application to run properly i need to pass this .cfg file as an argument to the main method in one of the file in the jar...
i did pass the name of the file as one of the parameter element,but my application is not initialized and not working.but the jar files have been deployed in the local machine.
so my question is , is there a way so that i can pass my file as a parameter to the main method through jnlp xml file.

but my problem is that i need to pass the path of my file along with the name of the file to the main method ...and in turn my main method will do all the required processing work..
the jar file that is to be deployed contains the class files and the .cfg file..

the second argument that i had passed is the name of the file in the jar to be passed..
but as a result when i invoke this file, the jar files are deployed but application is not starting as expected..for it to work the file and its path has to be passed to the main method..
which is what i tried through argument element...but it does not seem to work..
so all that i need to know is that, is it possible to pass a file and its path as an argument in the jnlp file..
