But Adobe doesn't seem to trying to fix or suggest solutions to those of us that have purchased both 10 and premier 10... other than a discount for 11... However, what's to say that 11 won't do the same thing??

Plugin or API from Adobe (for Adobe Reader) for Business Website?

I am looking for a plugin or API from Adobe (Adobe Reader or whatever will accomplish this) that can be added to our business website to make it easier for users to search through our manuals when they have questions about using the software. Does it exist? I want users to be able to type in a string and have the Adobe product search through all our PDF files for the file/page with that information.

* A search engine on the web server. There may well be one there already, needing to be set up to search a particular folder. Or you may be able to configure a search page without any need for setup. Refer to your web server admin.
* An intranet search engine. There may be one already on your intranet, just needing to be set up. Or you may be able to configure a search page without any need for setup. Refer to your intranet admin.

OSX 10.9.2/paid for Acobat XI Pro directly from Adobe for windows/English 24 hrs to process order?

I paid for adobe xi pro today directly from adobe. Had licensed version that expired. Got email with Serial Number and for Windows/English version.
Go to Adobe and cannot load, do anything because says my order "still processing and can take 24 hours". My cc online shows adobe paid. Adobe says I am supposed to be able to load same day. Not true. Obviously. WTF do I need to do to get this to load and work. My PDFs have been completely disabled even in read. Unreal.

AA XI purchase is separate from CC. If you got the serial number, just get the download from http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html and install it. Please make a copy of the install file in case you need it in the future (it may not always be available).

No support from Adobe for users

I'm extremely disappointed that I have have had zero feedback or response to my queries to get my digital editions to work. It used to work, but now I cannot load any ebooks. E_ACT_NOT_READY message. Not the same as other ones posted. Why is there no contact information for support from Adobe and they do not even monitor and respond to queries on the discussion forum? I'm very frustrated.

There are also many reasons why users seeking help are not getting any...
they often do not specify their OS and version
they often do not specify their browser and version
they often do not specify the exact error message(s) they are getting
they post into existing topics, saying "I have the same problem", but in fact have a quite different problem
they post that they have tried everything - which doesn't mean anything to me

Resources from Adobe for accessibility and those with disabilities?

I am tutoring a student with cerebral palsy which is primarily a motor control disability. He has the will and determination, but he's having trouble using the software. The tips and advice I would normally give don't normally take into account this barrier and this is the first time I've had the opportunity to tutor a differently-ablled person. He has problems with fine motor control and just all around controlling things to the point of also using keyboard shortcuts with the mouse and digitizer. He has a digitizer, but has problems controlling the pen. He also has a difficult time taking notes as he has trouble holding and controlling a pencil. He's paid his tuition and I'd hate for the program he's in to be a waste for him. There has to be some kind of resource ready that Adobe has put together that can help.
He also has possible learning disability as an indirect issue, probably caused by incomplete education when young or from frustation/lost opportunities/difficulty in traditional learning environment. Plus, he has had no graphic arts history or skill before this class. I think he was led astray by people telling him that he didn't need previous [even basic] skills in graphic arts, this is a tough program and not forgiving for those not able to keep up, for anybody that would be a tough road to travel. So, there's that. So I've had to rethink how to approach tutoring and it's become more involved than a part-time tutoring vollunteering activity will allow. I'm pretty much flying by the seat of my pants and sometimes it gets to the point of doing most of the work for him since he can't do a lot of the motions needed for such an advanced suite of software and I feel that's making him feel worse because he's not doing a lot of the work (he's learning, but it seems it's at a distance and he's not getting the experience of doing it himself and he feels that grating on himself). Cerebral Palsy has often been described as being trapped in a body that won't cooperate with you and it's very apparent here that that is the case.
I would appreciate some advice on where to go, maybe get some inspiration from those with cerebral palsy who have succeeded in the graphic arts industry. He's a good friend, but it's painful to see him struggle when in the back of my mind it seems he doesn't have to. He has the ideas, just translating them to the screen is hard to do.

It's a complex problem, but you might begin by looking into getting a special large sized trackball device if you haven't already. That way he can rest his hand on it. Logitech produce a large softball one with programmable extra buttons for handicapped people. On the Adobe end and specific to Photoshop you might look into Adobe Configurator to create a bunch of custom panels with buttons instead of keyboard shortcuts. Also keep in mind that PS can use iPads as inputs ever since CS6, so if you have one of those floating around, installing those touch apps as well as PS Touch might already help your student to get a bit further. Otherwise I don't think there's much you can do. Unfortunately Adobe apps aren't particulalrly "accessible". They haven't even resizable UI elements for visually impaired people.... Most web sites aare more friendly in that department...

Help needed from Adobe for unauthorised activity on my account

I bought some education software from an Adobe supplier on the recommendation of my school. It turns out (without me knowing or being told when I placed the order) that I was being sold old software, at what he now claims was cost price (interesting as I subsequently bought the next version for just $30 more). I have not been able to register that software as it was the wrong version for my region, and after a month of trying I asked for a refund.
He is now accessing my account, (probably from a link in an email i sent him!!) and is trying to get the software he sold me registered so he doesn't have to refund me!
Okay, so bad enough that I have hassles with this "person" but worse that he has access to my account and I seem unable to change this.
This whole process has been a nightmare!! I need to close two open cases immediately but can't get hold of Adobe by phone or on chat!!! Help please!

First, to answer your initial question - no there is no way to access the clipboard content outside of the apps at this time.

You can create this kind of video using several of the available apps that let you display your iPad screen on your computer using Airple. Some examples are Reflector http://www.airsquirrels.com/reflector/ and AirServer http://www.airserver.com/

Receipt from Adobe for Creative Cloud payment

I can not find the receipt I need. The solution Adobe page will allow you to print an invoice. A receipt and and invoice are not the same thing. A receipt is documentation showing that your company has recieved my payment. Where is that?

I am having the same issue. My company will not accept the invoice because it is AN INVOICE. It's unbelievable to me that Adobe can't seem to understand the difference between an invoice that shows a balance due vs a paid invoice showing a $0 balance due and the last four of the credit card number. Lynda.com does it. Other companies do it. As a multinational technology corporation, Adobe should be able to figure this out!
I suggest this be escalated to your VP or Pres. It would be too embarrassing to let this detail slip. Especially when disgruntled consumers have so much access to social media. Adobe has a great reputation. Why not be a little more customer focused on this issue?

Will they work once activated with a a purchased key from Adobe?

I want to purchase the trial CDs for the Creative Master Suite but it says:

What you propose should work. There could be problems with data for applications such as Mail where the application version and format of the data changed in Lion.

Text srv malware from downloads for mac

Since this is pre-intel, i have to use Adoble Flash version 10.1
I've downloaded 2 different files from Adobe for Flaxh 10.1, included one called "debugger versions".
Both of these files have contained the text srv malware.
Do you have a file i can download that isn't corrupted?

Apple staff are "trained" by Apple. Maybe Apple can't afford to train them adequately?
Seems it can't get its billions back from the Cayman Islands and the Netherlands tax havens. It obviously doesn't have the time or resources, being preoccupied with concocting schemes whereby it charges Australian users a premium for all their content, including Australian GST but then tells the Australian Tax Office that the transaction actually happened in Singapore and should be taxed there.
I suspect that addition to the User Guide is a belated entry, no doubt due to the savaging they got in this forum amongst other places. The original User Guide glossed over any problems, not even mentioning that any existed.
What people are told to their face and in all promotional material carries more weight than the fine print in a User Guide that is not even installed with the software, let alone visible till you have purchased the product.
The same thing with Apple's claims that iCloud syncing just "automatically appear" in Lion which was obviously not true:
"You can create amazing documents and presentations on your Mac, iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. And with iCloud, you can keep that work up to date across your Mac and all your iOS devices. You don’t have to manage your documents in a complicated file system or remember to save them to a special folder. That was on their website right until Mountain Lion was released and finally fixed it.
