I purchased Elements 10 from Best Buy. Trying to install and says serial number invalid.

I want to install my Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 from disc onto new computer, but receive message that the serial number (from the packet) is invalid. Any advice?

you don't need to deactivate if you're installing on the same computer (as long as there were no major hardware changes).
but, if you want to deactivate and uninstalled program, contact adobe support: http://www.adobe.com/support/chat/ivrchat.html

K450e motherboard replaced now says error code 00ce machine type and serial number invalid

Hey guys i just got a replacement motherboard, after motherboard was replaced on bootup the computer says error code 00ce: machine type and serial number are invalid. How do i get rid of this error it was replaced by the same motherboard type that was previously in the system. How can i reset the bios or enter the serial etc? Lenovo tech support was no help.

As per the query we understood that you are facing issue with serial number invalid error in your k450e desktop.
As the motherboard been replaced the serial number and MTM number must be updated this is a new motherboard, you can visit to the nearest authorized service center for the serial number update in the BIOS.

Sold Aperture 2 - but 'serial number invalid'

Hi there, please help
I bought Aperture 2 many months ago, but found it wouldn't work on my Powerbook G4. I then switched to Adobe Lightroom, and put the Aperture software in the cupboard.
I've just sold the software, but the new user gets the error message, 'serial number invalid'. It's possible I entered the serial number (can't remember), but the software itself was never used. How do I get the software to work for someone else?

If the serial number is valid it wouldn't care if it had been entered before or if it had been on a different computer. Is this a boxed set? It wasn't an upgrade was it? Do you still have the original serial number sticker?
Either the serial number you gave to the new owner is wrong or else they are entering it wrong unless the software you have was an upgrade in which case you also need the original serial number.
If you don't have the correct original number the only ones who can help are Apple.

Photoshop Elements 11 serial number invalid after computr reset

I reset my computer (Windows 8 OS) and all programs installed through disc were deleted. I need to reinstall Photoshop Elements 11, but when I entered my product's serial number it said it was invalid. The program was completely erased from my system, and yet it is still activated. Is there any way to deactivate it without the program being on my system? Is there any way to reinstall it at all?

Serial number invalid for elements premiere

recently had to troubleshoot my laptop and I had elements installed on it. now it says the serial number is invalid and that the previous number was already used. what do I need to do to reinstall my paid for product.

But, this is not Adobe. Rather a user to user forum.
1. When you went looking for your serial number at Adobe, did you look under My Products as I suggested or did you look under My Orders instead.
I wrote:
If you have not already, go to Adobe web site http://www.adobe.com, sign in, in the Search field type My Products.
Follow the My Products link to your products. In your products find Adobe Premiere Elements 12 and click on it to
reveal the serial number.
If there is no serial number, nothing can be done.
2. Since you have Premiere Elements 12, not the current version, keep in mind that Adobe typically supports only the latest version (now 13).
3. As for money back
a. Are you within 30 days of purchase from Adobe direct? Unlikely if you have version 12. If you were and this was the latest version, you
could request return/refund from the online Adobe Chat Orders. And, if you had purchased from an authorized reseller, then you would have
to deal with the return/refund policy of the seller.
b. Return/Refund is up to Adobe. In spite of your situation, you could contact Adobe to describe your situation. Ask for a supervisor if necessary.
In this situation, Adobe is the only one who can help you.
When you registered your product originally, were you using the same Adobe ID and Password that you are currently using?

Downloaded Elements 7 won't accept my serial number, Invalid

I damaged my Elements 7 disc. I had to download Elements 7 from the Adobe website and I am now getting a message that my serial number is Invalid. Adobe customer service told me it is not a deactivation/activation issue and the serial number is good. What can I do next?

Hi Keith
As part of the platform swap process we provide a serial number for the platform required and send a DVD set (some of our DVD sets include both platforms but the license is just for a single platform).
You will be able to license the Mac trial product with your serial number though.

Which Operating System you are using?
In the serial number window, on the title bar check if the product name is Photoshop elements 13
There are some PE serial number which is specific for windows OS, you may check that also.
You can contact Adobe support and verify your serial number once

Fabfel if you purchased the software title from Adobe directly then please see Return, cancel, or exchange an Adobe order. If you purchased the software title from a reseller then you will want to contact them to arrange for a return.
Most purchases from Adobe are automatically registered. This is why I assumed you purchased the software title from a seller other than Adobe.

Bought adobe photoshop & premier element bundle from best buy and adobe says serial is invalid. Tried the retreiver and got another invalid from adobe. Took it back and exchanged for another and same thing happened. Really upset with adobe. The want to sell direct rather than through retailer. Nothing works.
