Elements 11 and Hero 7.1 Kodak Printer

With Elements 11 my Hero 7.1 printer only uses the bottom paper tray. Help?

You can't. Not directly anyway. Kodak does not make Airprint compatible Printers.

Kodak printer Hero 9.1 not working on Lion.

I have Kodak printer Hero 9.1 working on ethernet via BT home hub from iMac and old PC (XP Pro). It worked fine with Snow Leopard then I upgraded to Lion.
Now Kodak software reports Error 200-1033 "Unable to connect to printer" always after the first print after installing Kodak software and adding printer in the Control Panel. But PC continues to work fine for printing and scanning.
Have gone through the Kodak support suggested fixes many times. Check wiring, check connections etc etc. plus multiple cycles of uninstall and reinstall. Have also set up Static IP address for printer.
Any ideas or am I looking at a new printer if Kodak and Apple are not talking? (Printer and company wise.)

iOS devices can only print directly to AirPrint printers.
To print directly from an iPad / iPhone you will need an AirPrint compatible printer or another device to act as a print server. That can be a Mac computer running Printopia ($19.95 with free trial) or AirPrintActivator (donation - supported). The Mac must be "on" but may be asleep for them to work. Equivalent PC options exist but you're on your own finding them.

These options enable you to use any printer available to your Mac, even older ones that may predate AirPrint by decades. Otherwise you will need to buy an AirPrint printer or multifunction device.

To the best of my knowledge Kodak has none that do, though they may have their own app that can print at least some content. Third-party printing apps such as PrintCentral are also available. All such apps have limitations, so check them out thoroughly before you pay for any such app.
For other printers, you can route the printing through your computer. If you have a Mac, Printopia would be worth a look. Fingerprint is another option that is available for both Mac OS X and Windows system. You could also consider an AirPrint-capable print server. Lantronix makes a couple of models, including one that supports a USB printer:

Using Kodak Hero 9.1 wifi printer with ipad3

Hi, I have recently purchased a Kodak Hero 9.1 Wifi printer.
I have downloaded the Kodak pic flik app and I can print photos wirelessly no problem.
However when I try to print documents the IPad does not recognise the printer?
I have even tried connecting the IPad directly into the printer via a USB but this still will not work. I would appreciate any help in this matter

New HH3 - Issues with Kodak Printer and iPhone 3GS

Here is the background:
Previously had a D-Link DSL-G624M router and everything connected wirelessly. This included 2 laptops, Kodak ESP 5250 Printer and iPhone 3GS. Router broadcasting on channel 6 (locked).
Since upgrading to Infinity replaced the D-Link with a HH3. Laptops connect fine but have issues with other wireless devices.
iPhone: Seems to lose internet (not necessarily wireless connection though) intermittently. The phone remains connected to the HH3 and can be seen in the DHCP table and Home Network screens. The iPhone also reports that it is connected to the HH3. However, when attempting to access the internet using either Safari or apps it doesn't work. This can be fixed by forgetting the network and re-joining or turning Airplane Mode on and then off.
Kodak ESP5250 Printer: This connects fine to the HH3 and remains in the DHCP table and Home Network with the correct IP Address. Laptop A is able to connect and print successfully. However, after putting the laptop into sleep mode and re-waking it it is unable to Print. The Printer is still connected to the HH3 and laptop claims it is 'Ready' but unable to print. The only way i have found to fix this is to re-install the entire Printer software!! However, Laptop B does not have this problem and can be put into Sleep mode, Hibernate or restart and the printer remain connected. I do not think it is a firewall issue as able to connect until re-waking from sleep.
You're probably thinking the same as me that this sounds like hardware issues and not the HH3. Maybe coincidence that it started happening after changing to HH3. Maybe something wrong with the iPhone or Laptop A and/or Printer?!? Tried setting a manual channel on the HH3 as suggested by other posts but this had no effect. (Used inSSIDer to determine best channel). Also increased the IP Address lease time from 1 Day to 21 Days - but again no difference.
Current situation: Connected the D-Link router to the HH3 using Ethernet cable. Disabled DHCP and DNS on the D-Link router and kept SSID different. Now connected all devices to the D-Link router and nothing to the HH3 and everything is working as it did previously. The iPhone remains stable and the Kodak printer remains connected to both Laptops after re-waking from Sleep Mode.
I haven't yet contacted BT but i'm leaning towards it being a dodgy HH3. Anyone have any suggestions??

For starters, there's nothing wrong with your Iphone or Kodak prn. The issue is the HH3
I had a very similar issue connecting iMac, iPad, Macbook Pro, iPhone, Thinkpad and Canon prn via wireless to the HH3... Lots of disconnections, devices that couldn't log in, very low wireless speeds, printer not recognized, etc,etc
I went mad, pretty much did the same things as you did: inSSIDer, changing channels, re-installing whole softw drv !, reorientating HH3 position, manually assigning IPs and channels... nothing would seem to work!
Then I connected a Netgear router to HH3 via ethernet cable -like you did- and suddenly everything seemed to go back to normal. Here's what I found out after much head knocking:
1) The issue is the HH3, not that it's faulty but simply put it can't deal with lots of wireless traffic. The minute you connect several devices it gets clogged up
2) HH3 seem not to recognize WiFI printers that have a 'static' IP (not sure why)... this was a nightmare
3) if you have many devices connected, HH3 doesn't seem to 'like' Apple devices or wifi Airport powered (not sure why). After sleep mode these device can't pick up IP over the air, and you need to manually renew DHCP leases. There are several reports about this in Apple forums.
So here's what I did:
1) I ditched the HH3
2) I connected the Openreach router to a dual-band Netgear wndr3400 **cable** router (PPPoE connection)
3) I re-installed the prn drv in USB mode and then added wifi printer in wifi mode while usb connected
4) I created two-split WIFI networks; one in the channel 6/2.4Ghz frequency and another in the channels 44-48/5Ghz freq to which I assigned most devices (It seems BT Infinity wifi works best in 5Ghz channels)
Results: all devices recognised & connected via WiFI, no disconnections, steady WIFI speed almost as fast as ethernet cable, wifi prn prints fine from all devices... No more WIFI connnectivity issues.

I upgraded my iMac to Yosemite and now I can't print on my Kodak ESP 5250, any ideas?

I downloaded Yosemite to my iMac and I can no longer print to my Kodak ESP 5250. I didn't upgrade my MacBook Air and it still prints fine. Will there be any drivers to fix this problem or can I downgrade back to Mavericks until I get a new printer?

Kodak has posted an unsupported hack that has been reported to enable printing to a Kodak printer not supported in OS X 10.10 ("Yosemite").
I have not tested the hack myself and I don't know all the possible effects. As far as I know it will not break the compatibility of printing software that is already compatible with Yosemite. It may degrade the security of the web administration interface of CUPS. That interface is not enabled by default, and will not be enabled by the procedure described here. Even if it were enabled, I know of no way it could be exploited, with or without the modification. Nevertheless, if you have enabled the web administration interface, you should disable it if you decide to follow these instructions. If you don't know what the web administration interface is, you haven't enabled it.

Log in to the Developer forum. You will find instructions on how to install the lastest beta. Your problem is the beta you have installed has expired. All of them did on October 5; you will find hundreds of threads discussing this. If you have a beta it is assumed that you will continue as a beta tester, so a simple update using iTunes will not work.
If you no longer want to be a beta tester install the GM 7.0.2 by restoring from iTunes using DFU mode.

Hp chromebook and kodak printer

i have an hp chromebook 14 and for more than a year i have tried to connected to my cloud ready kodak printer without success. please help, i dont have a third device or anything like that it has to be directly from my chromebook to my printer.

Hello and thank you for posting on the HP support forum. If you are able to connect to the internet with your chrome book then what you will need to do is contact google support for their cloud printing.

All the printing handled through the cloud is handled by Google and not HP.
If the cloud is connecting correctly you will have to contact Kodak support.

Seeking help with PS Elements 11 which does not work with Epson r2000 printer. Epson tech support could not fix, said it is PS e11 problem. Receive prompt on PS e11 screen when I try to print stating "not compatible or settings are not correct. Have set PS to manage color and printer manages color to off. Sincerely appreciate your help. Running Windows 7 on a Dell XPS420. System has been very stable for years. Before purchasing the Epson r2000, I owned an r1800 which was an excellent printer but after seven years started to exhibit paper feed problems. The r1800 worked with all applications and I was well satisfied with the saturation, contrast, etc. printing mostly 8x10 and 11x17 prints.
Thank you for the information about the # of installs for PS E11, will try uninstall/reinstall this morning.

I have upgraded to elements 13 and unistalled 11 photos corrected in 11 are not compatible to print with 13

Help please my photos that I had been viewing printing etc are not compatible when I print in elements 13. I have unistalled elements 11 but still hve the same problem

When I try to print using elements 13 up pops The saved print information is in an incompatible version. it has been set to default values.
    I have templates that I had designed in elements 11 to drop photographs into, every time I try to print up pops the notice above and it will not print.
   If I have imported the photograph and worked on it in elements 13 it prints fine.
   I have hundreds of photographs that I have changed from raw files to Jpegs etc. which printed fine. Now with elements 13 I cannot print any of them.
   Help please, I was born BC before computers

What do you mean by "not compatible"? What happens, exactly, when you try to print?

Elements 11 and Kodak easy share software & photo retouch questions

I have kodak easyshare on my pc. That's where i store all my photos. Can I use Elements 11 without interfereing with my kodak software ? I like to transfere my photos from my digital camera right to my kodak softwear. Can I still keep doing that and only transfere the ones I want to correct onto elements 11 ?. Will elements 11 take away oily skin from photos and make them look fresh and non oily ? I like the glamour shot look without everyone having an oily face. Thanks.

Photoshop Elements(PSE) comes as a bundle of two softwares. Elememts organizer (EO) is used for organizing your photos and managing them while PSE Editor is used for editing them. You can edit your photos in Editor without using Ogranizer. All you have to do is to launch PSE Editor and go to File >open and then browse to your photos to open them in Editor.
Removing oily skin is a bit of tidy work and with a simple google search you can find serveral ways of doing it in Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. Most of the tutorials are written for Photoshop but they work fine for Photoshop Elements too.

When you copy photos from your camera through any software (Kodak, Elements, Lightroom, Windows OS import, etc.) a physical copy is created on your storage media (wherever you configured the software to copy photos to).
When you install Photoshop Elements, you also get Photoshop Elements Organizer. Organizer serves as a virtual library of all the pictures and videos that are available to your computer. You can choose which photos are included in Organizer, by choosing only those pictures you would like to import. From the Organizer application, you can view your assets, and then modify, enhance, or alter them accordingly in Photoshop Element Editor (photos) or Premiere Elements (for videos, requires separate purchase).
To answer your questions:
