Elements 11 install to mac and organise

I'm having alot of trouble installing my Elements 11 into my Mac so opded for trial
can't find serial no. So installed trial when it went into organiser my iphotos where all over the place
In iphoto and Appiture they are tilted and catogrised.
In organiser they come up as numbers and letters I don't know what they are from my calologe??
Finding it very differcult to work things out please can you help as it is very frustrating!!

A couple of things.
1. This is user to user forum, not adobe support, so you need to chill a little and wait for a volunteer who sees your post to have an idea.
2. Since you've marked it as answered/correct, you're much less likely to get any responses now.
Also, your post is kind of hard to follow. Do you mean that you imported all your photos from iphoto and aperture into the organizer? Why did you do that? Do you plan to abandon the other programs? You need to explain in more detail just what you did and why.

Brooks lansing if you create a new Administrator account does the same issue occur? If so then it is likely that there is a file permission failure and file permissions have been set for the existing Users instead of the groups they belong to.
Have you removed and reinstalled Photoshop Elements 11? This may reset the file permissions to the correct state to allow it to work under new accounts.

If the code you are trying to enter has letters then you are not looking at a serial number. A serial number only contains numbers - 6 sets of 4 numbers.
Find your serial number quickly
You might be dealing with a redemption code. This is especially so if you purchased it from a store or the like.

Try to edit the size of the page using the sides of the page, or if you are desperate, force quit using command-Q. In full screen put your cursor on the top of the page, and the menu bar will appear. If it doesn't keep "pushing" it up until it does. Hope this helps!

Yes, certainly, but if you're in the US I would just download the trial and use that for now, since there will be plenty of deals on the full version come the start of the holiday shopping season, especially at places like amazon and big box stores. Usually for much less than adobe's upgrade price.

You don't need a CD to download anything; just download & install the trial from http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop_elements, then activate it with your serial number.

Has anyone tried to use Elements 9 on their Mac and had problems?

Trying to use Elements 9 on my mac, but find that the create and effects editing part of the package are not working. Does anyone else have this problem?

We have already uninstalled and re-installed it a few times, but it did'nt make any difference. Have also e-mailed Adobe about this but as yet have had no response. I know not all Mac users are having this problem, which is why its so frustrating.

Just bought Elements 2012 bundle for Mac and crashes

I just bought the Elements 2012 bundle loaded it into my fairly new Mac and Premier won't startup and Photoshop Elements starts but then crashes.
I've uninstalled and reloaded it several times. It's just a no go.
What's with that?
My system:
2012 Intel Mac 5,1
i7 3.5 Quad core
8GB ram 1600MHz DDR3
OS X Mavericks

yes i repaired permissions
I did not have an older version of PSE installed.
I did a reinstall for PSE for the forth time and it works now but PRE hangs up still.
i will install PRE again tonight and see if that helps.
My apple apps are working fine now too by the way. Don't know what's going on here.

Where can I find a listing of elements common to Keynote Mac and iPad?

I developed a beautiful Keynote presentation from a PowerPoint presentation on my MacBooK. I transferred it to the Keynote app on my iPad. The conversion to the iPad eliminated all the 3D graphs. The conversion changed fonts. After the transfer the slides must be reformatted to make a descent presentation. Where is there information on what the Keynote app for iPad supports in regard to themes, fonts, charts, etc? It is also obvious that some themes can be imported when a presentation did not incorporate a native Keynote iPad theme. Where can you find elements you can import?

Nevermind, After I posted my question I found a similar question with a link to a helpful article. I cut and pasted a bunch of font, theme and formatting information from the article into a numbers sheet.

Photoshop Elements 11 Install on Mac

I can not install Photoshop Elements 11. The install keeps quitting with errors on my iMac running 10.8.2 after repeated downloads directly from Adobe web site.

Inserted disk. Got this as before.
Clicked on Adobe PSE 11, got this.
Clicked on the red "Install" got this.
I thought "Woo Hoo" I'd never gotten this far. Clicked on the big red "A box". Then got the too familiar....
Sadly I'm getting very, very close to giving up. Any other ideas. And I was saving this question for when we finally succeeded but I've got to ask now. If it had been a matter of a bad font do you have any idea of why that would cause the install program to crash? That part of this totally baffles me. But then I know just enough to be dangerous in some of these situations. Thanks again and hopefully you have some other ideas of what's going on. I hope, I hope, I hope. That's it for the night for me. I've had as much "fun" with this today as I can put up with. Thanks and have a great evening.

I re-installed my MAC and lost IPhoto

I had some problems with my MAC so I was advised to re-install, once I did my problem was solved UNTIL I realized that I had lost applications which had come with it (IPhoto, IMovie, IDVD, GarageBand...)!! I still have my pictures, which I thought I was going to lose...can I do something to recuperate IPHOTO??
PS.I live in Bolivia and we don't have an Apple store.

If iPhoto came pre-installed your computer then you can reinstall the iApps from the system install disks that came with the computer. You need to look for the install package titled "Install Bundled Software Only" as seen in the screenshot below:

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. Just put the application in the Dock and click on it whenever you want to backup the dB file. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
Note: There's now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.
