Elements 11 Organizer display missing lower tool bar

When opening Photoshop Elements 11 Organizer on my Mac computer the lower toolbar feature is not displayed. How do I recover this important feature?

There isn't an option to hide or disable the lower tool bar. Most likely it is simply off screen due to the size of the window. Try clicking the Green plus button in the upper left to resize the application window to the size of the screen. Additionally, you can try increasing your screen resolution to see if you can make it larger than the application windows.

Missing preferences, tool bars, menu items after receiving CS3 file while I have CS2

I have Indesign CS2. I rec'd a CS3 file not knowing it was CS3. A message appeared as follows:
Cannot Open. Please upgrade your plugins to the latest versions, or upgrade to the latest edition of Indesign.
I went into HELP, Configure plugins. Chose "all" and "required" plugins. I then clicked ok and it said "All plugins available when you restart application" and it still wouldn't open. Then I was sent an exchange version of the same file and it still wouldn't open. I received this message:
Cannot open. InDesign may not support the file format, a plug-in that supports the file format may be missing or the file may be open in another application.
After this I wasn't able to get my CS2 screen back the way it was before. There's no introduction when I open the program, my tool bars aren't present, and the menu items aren't as extensive as they were before.
It was then suggested I reinstall Cs2. I logged in under the administrator. CS2 was different than the way I had it before but the tool bars were present. I then logged in under my name and there are still problems;no tool bars, missing menu items, no intro, etc.
I then tried rebuilding my preferences using these instructions;
The fastest way to do this for InDesign CS2 (and any CS2 program) is to quit the program, then hold down Command-Option-Shift-Control immediately after starting it up again, and keep those keys held down. (On Windows, hold down Control-Alt-Shift.)
If you mashed on those keys quickly enough, youll get an alert when the splash screen appears offering to Delete InDesign Preferences File?. Click Yes, but dont release the modifier keys while you do so, because youre going to get a second alert to which you should also click Yes.
Now you can release the keys and InDesign will complete the boot-up process with fresh, clean Preferences.
Nothing happened so my program is still missing preferences, menu items and toolbars. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First, you need to realize that resetting preferences will put them back to ground zero, not the way they were the last time you were happy.
You can try the key combination again and see if you are any faster (we're talking near instantaneous) or you can open your user profile, show hidden files and folders and navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Adobe\InDesign\Version 4.0 and rename the two files InDesign Defaults and InDesign SavedData.
In your case, a better first option, I think, would be to try System Restore which you'll find in System Tools under the Programs > Accessories heading on the start menu. Go back to the first restore point before you tried to open the file, if you can.
In any case, for you to open a CS3 .inx file you will need to be fully patched the the last CS2 update, and you should expect to see some text reflow issues, as well as missing any CS3 features that the author used which aren't supported in CS2.

Display of only Tool bar in ALV without displaying the table

I defined a custom container and split it into 2 containers and used one for Top of page and the other for displaying the ALV.
Now I want to export the entire report to excel sheet. So is there any method for having the Tool bar set for the custom container without displaying the ALV??
I want to get the tool bar for custom container as we will have an option to download to excel sheet.

Hi,
You could try creating an instance of the class 'CL_GUI_TOOLBAR' on the custom container.
And then call the method 'add_button' to add the export to Excel functionality.
Here is a sample code..
call method toolbar->add_button
          exporting fcode       = func code
                        icon        = icon name
                       is_disabled = ' ' or 'X'
                       butn_type   = '0'
                       quickinfo   = quickinfo information.

Partial Missing main Tool Bar icons or headers OSX 10.8.5

OS X Version 10.8.5, MacBook Air 13 inch Mid Oct 2013. Processor 1.3 GHz Intel Core i5, Memory 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, Graphics Intel HD Graphics 5000 1024 MB
My main tool bar shows menu items on the left side OK. i.e. the Apple icon, Safari, File, Edit, View etc or Finder, Edit, View, Go.
But on the right side of the main menu bar, the following icons are missing "Time Machine, BlueTooth, Wifi, Volume" i.e they show as a blank space on the menu bar.
The following are visible "% Battery, Day and Time", but then again "Spot light" icon or shortcut is missing. I must mouse over the grey blank space in order for the drop down menu to appear.
Also in Finder most of the menu headers are grey and blank with no icons or instructions, I again have to mouse over them to find out what they control.
I'm not sure what caused this or how I can "reset" so that the menu headers appear again? I've tried software updates, this doesn't work. It's been like this for several months.

Retriving missing finder tool bar at top on macbook

The finder tool bar has disappeared from the top of my macbook screen. How do I make it come back?

Full Screen Mode?
The application window has entered Full Screen mode.
To exit Full Screen mode press the esc key (top leftmost key on the keyboard) .
Move the mouse pointer to the screen and hold it there for few seconds.
Menubar / Toolbar will drop down.
Click the blue double arrow icon at top right end of the bar.
Window should exit Full Screen mode.

Image Adjust icon missing from tool bar

I've got the latest Keynote running on my Macbook, but it seems to be missing the Image Adjust icon, the one that sits right next to Inspector icon on my desktop G5 running the exact same version of the program.
I can get to image adjust through the menu bar going to View>Show Adjust Image, but on my desktop computer, there is an icon right in the Keynote toolbar.
Can't for the life of me determine why it doesn't present itself on my laptop. Any ideas? Many thanks, Bob Krist

Try right clicking on the toolbar and choose Costumize Toolbar (or via the View menu (it should be the last option in the View menu) then you will see a array of icons which can be placed on the toolbar as you see fit.
and maybe the window is to narrow to be able to display the icon and it falls of at the end, there then should be an '>>' icon, which when pressed should show all the icons that dont fit.

Display missing out menu bar and part of dock

When I bought my computer I also got a mini display port to HDMI. At first it was missing some of the menu bar and dock and I turned underscan on and it was fine. I then unpluged it and the next time I plugged it in underscan is greyed out. I am using a samsung widescreen display. Can someone plz help me?

I have lost the upper and lower tool bars on the Firefox home page. Now I have to scroll my mouse to the top of the screen in order to bring them up. How can I get the bars back?

The home page fills my entire screen now and it didn't before. This happened about a week ago. I tried to do a Restore on my system but the problem still exists. The Firefox button on the left has disappeared too.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: command+Shift+F).
If you are in full screen mode then hover the mouse to the top to make the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar appear.
You can click the Maximize button at the top right to leave full screen mode or right click empty space on a toolbar and use "Exit Full Screen Mode" or press F11.

How do I get the bookmarks in the bookmarks tool bar to actually display in FF4?

In V4, when I turn the bookmarks tool bar on as described in the help, Firefox creates a blank row in the tool bar area, but the bookmarks in my toolbar still do not show. I've tried to turn on display of the tool bar through both the Options menu and by right clicking in the tool bar area - both approaches create a blank row in the tool bar area, but neither actually shows the bookmarks stored in the tool bar.

Answering my own question, I right clicked the empty tool bar, went to Customize, Add New Tool Bar - the bookmarks tool bar suddenly appeared and no new tool bar was added. Clearly there is a glitch in displaying the book marks tool bar, but at least I have it back!

What is Elements Organizer?
The Elements Organizer can be used to arrange, codify, systemize, group, and classify your media. When you import your images and video into the Orgnizer, you are adding information about your files to a catalog. Your files remain on your hard drive where they were, unless you are importing them from a camera, in which case the files are copied to your hard drive to a location of your choosing.
What is an Elements Organizer catalog?
The catalog is a database that stores information about the files you've imported into Elements Organizer. When importing a file, the first thing Organizer does is collect the file's name and location on the hard drive. If the file has any attached compatible metadata, such as keyword tags, these are imported as well. You can use multiple catalogs and yourr catalogs can be carried forward from version to version.
Why does Elements Organizer say my files are missing?
Since the catalog database only stores information about your file, and not the file itself, if any of that information is changed outside of Elements Organizer, the connection to the file is lost. There are three ways this can happen: the file name is changed, the file location is changed, or the file has been deleted. If you need to rename, move, or delete a file, you can do so within the Elements Organizer, and then the connection is not lost.
What is Reconnecting?
When a file has been renamed, moved, or deleted, the catalog database needs to be updated with that new information. The Reconnection process allows you to point out a file's new name, it's new location, or to delete the database entry on your file if the file no longer exists on your hard drive.

To prevent this from happening again, you can change the drive to some very high letter, like X:, and then it should remain constant. In Lightroom, right-click on the top level folder ,and select Find Missing Folder, and then point it to your X: drive.
I know I can "Import---Add to catalog" all the photos from my external hard drive back into the catalog but I do have a question:
I won't address your question specifically, since re-importing is a very bad idea. A very bad idea. You will lose information that is not in the sidecar files, such as collection members, edit history, flags, virtual copies, stacks and a few other things. Just don't go there. Change the drive letters, as I explained.

WEBI tool bar customization in Launchpad Portal- BOBJ 4.1 SP2

Hi,
We are trying to enable some features of WEBI tool bar in the Portal Launchpad for the end users as show in the image here.
How can we enable, Track, FilterBar, Outline features in the attached image, without enabling the Design drop down menu to the far right corner.
For a group of end users, we need just the ability to Track, Outline and Filter, nothing less , nothing more :-)

The problem is when we have the same user in 2 user groups. One user group, where we restricted WEBI not to display "Design menu" in the tool bar and the other User group where we allow to display the "Design" menu in tool bar. The outcome of this scenario is that because the user is in both the groups, no matter which report the user accesses, he is restricted not to use the Design menu of WEBI report. It is applying the least to the user instead of checking the user group and identifying what needs to be displayed in the tool bar of WEBI report.
So, now how do you ensure that even though User is in 2 user groups and these 2 user groups may have different settings for WEBI design menu, that they are exclusive.
There is no ability to control the inheritance from user groups to users while going from Usergroups->Customization-WEBI.

Tool bar customization in PCUI for CRM5.0

After successfully configuring the Opportunity PCUI field group and Tab page group( events) IN CRM5.0 , I started to customize the appearance of the opportunity Toolbar group.
The process is really simple according to some RKT material form SAP. go transaction CRM_BSP_CT --> toolbar grou-> double click to see exiting events and then add the events that you need in your Custom View, which I did successfully,
Not sure whether to generate the same in the same line of layout generation after the Field group customization with a custom view. However after the changes the changes that I did to toll bar is not being visisble when I execute the PCUI,
Can anybosy help me.?
I have changes the toolbar group OPP_OIC_50, and created entries for my custom view. This should work withe floorplan 1 OR VERSION 1.

I want to get rid of iTunes Radio and just play my music library. The tool bar at the bottom allowing me to select playlists, artists etc isn't there any more. HELP!

Getting rid of iTunes Radio. How do I navigate back to my own music library? The tool bar at the bottom disappears.

Open the Music app.
Tap More on the bottom menu
Tap Edit (upper right)
Drag the icon on or off the lower tool bar to select the functions you want on it.
At step #2, you can also simply select the view you wish to use.
To navigate back to a view that shows the menu (for example, when you are playing a song), tap the < icon (upper left).

Organizer tool bar missing in Elements 9

I have read the forum response to this problem with Elements 8 but I have not been able to use the edit menu in organizer the same way as suggested. I did fix my copy of Elements 8 but there is no available font change that I can find in Elements 9. Is there a work through other than changing my 64 bit Windows 7 screen resolution? Thank you for any help you can give. Dave
