Elements 11 reinstall help.

I had to uninstall my Elements 11 due to an error. Now I can't reinstall. No box opens to start the process. Only window that opens when I load the disc is my Lightroom. How do I get my Elements 11 back? There are parts of it I still use in editing. Thanks for any suggestions.

Are you sure you have the right disc? You got both mac and windows discs with PSE 11.

"Your current audio hardware selection dos not have any input channels." My question, therefore: Do I need to buy an external microphone? I have an HP Pavilion Laptop, running WIndows 8.1. I thought I had a built-in microphone. But ,maybe not. Please help. Also, WHAT KIND of microphone - exactly - should I buy? Thanks for your help.

Go to Edit Menu/Preferences/Audio Hardware and ASIO tab and click on it.
Under the Input tab, make sure that you have your microphone selected.

Can not open Elements organizer help...

Just installed the Elements 9 on my mac. Trying to learn how the program works. I am checking
under help for what I need to know but Elements Organizer help... will not open. In the dock "i" starts to
come up but closes again. Anything I do wrong? What do you think out there?

Finally got elements reinstalled after my computer crashed, shows I have the account but I can't open it all I get is a page trying to sell me and give me tutorials. I just want to use the darn thing. Can someone please help me???

Updated to windows 8.1 now can't install Photoshop Elements 12, HELP PLEASE

I am having such a terrible time getting Photoshop Elements 12 to install on my computer. I've had Dell software support and Adobe support's help but they could only get to the point of JUST the editor being installed. The organizer and the ability to go online never gets installed. After all the files are downloaded and the installation begins a box comes up and wants to uninstall the program. I couldn't get past this part but the software tech got past it. I have spent hours and days trying to get this installed. I've been a big fan of Adobe products but this is the first time I haven't gotten the HELP I need. It has to be a software issue because i've downloaded other programs with no problems. I even went out and brought an external cd/dvd burner and tried installing from the hard cd only to have the same problem pop up. If it helps, I got the Windows 8.1 update maybe this is the problem. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP ME!!!

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have looked into your issue about your HP Notebook and the brightness control on Windows 8.1 not working correctly after an update. I would uninstall all the display adapters that are in the device manager and restart the Notebook. Check to see if if it put an adapter back in , right click on the driver and update.
If that does not help I would uninstall the Graphics drivers restart the Notebook and it should reinstall the correct driver for you.
Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system that need updating.

Premiere Elements 10 Help

I recently downloaded Adobe Premiere and Photoshop Elements 10. I started with Disc 1 with Premiere. It won't leave the "New Project" faze. I have Windows 7, so I then realized I was supposed to start with Disc 2. I started with disc 2 on Photoshop, and it works fine. HELP?

If you think you installed the program incorrectly, why not uninstall it and reinstall it correctly?
Also, before you do, make sure you've run Disk Cleanup and defragmented your drive(s). Also make sure you've got the latest version of Quicktime from Apple.
Then register the program with Adobe so that your license is fully activated.

Photoshop Elements 9 "Help" crashes on Lion OS X

I just installed Photoshop elements 9 on my Lion Macbook Pro. I took all of the software updates and I cannot launch any of the help topics. Everytime I choose help from the menu a dialog prompts me to restore windows then the entire "help" application crashes! I've scoured the adobe website for assistance and landed here. Finding help seems to be incredibly difficult, especially finding help for the online help. Has anyone else had a similar experience? What can I do? Is reinstalling a good idea? Where can I go to send a request to adobe for this issue? I'd like to speak with a representative.

Downloaded Photoshop 11 on Mac - cannot open it, should I uninstall/reinstall - Help!

I downloaded Adobe Photoshop Elements about 6 months ago. I think I messed up from the beginning - perhaps I saved something in the wrong place. I tried making a shortcut on my desktop, but it didn't work somehow, so I've been going through the Organizer to open the Editer because whenever I click on the shortcut I get this error message: "Some of the application components are missing from the Application directory, Please reinstall the application."
Today I was fiddling around with things on my computer and tried to make a shortcut again by finding the "Adobe" file in Finder and dragging it on the desktop. That didn't work....it disappeared from Finder and I cannot open the Editer from the Organizer anymore - needless to say the shortcut I tried to make didn't work. I keep getting the same error message. So, I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this, but I would really like some opinions. Should I uninstall it completely and reinstall it? Can I since I downloaded it off the site?

It seems the install was not proper. Please uninstal the existing version, download the software again and reinstall.

Elements 11 - Help/ Update did not activate

I asked this question yesterday and was told I could update directly from a website, which was included in the answer.
Question asked: "Installed and registered a new Elements 11. Update in Help will NOT activate, is grey."
I was able to download and install Adobe Camera Raw 7.2, but only into the computer. Am not sure how to include the update in Element 11 software, so need advise
Also, the problem of not being able to update directly through the Element 11 software is still an issue.
Would appreciate further advice and help.

Nobody can answer that without some system information. Generally the solution is to uninstall and reinstall the program and then try again, but we really cannnot know what's going on beyond that. Could be your network configuration, could be some tool preventing access, could be another Adobe program having made a mess on your system with its own updates...

Premiere Elements 9 - Help files don't activate

In Adobe Premiere Elements 9.0, when I click on the "Help" tab, I get a very short system busy icon, then nothing. None of the Help functions activate. Similarly, when I click on the various "Click here" messages that show up on the bottom bar on the right hand side, nothing happens. Is it possible that my Windows 7 or Internet Explorer security settings are somehow blocking the Help files from activating? Is there some setting that needs to be changed somewhere. I've already reinstalled the program and had same problem. Just can't figure out what's going on. Any ideas?

Open the Editor and try pressing the F1 key.

Incomplete migration of Elements 10--help!

I have Elements 10 on my MacBook. I am trying to migrate it to my I-mac which has no DVD port. Migration Ast. does it's thing and says trasfer is complete but when I open Elements on the new computer I get a message saying "Online services cannot be initialized. Please reinstall" I've tried this twice--no go?? My other option is to download Adobe 10 free trial then supply my serial number but I can't find free trial of 10?? Canb anyone help??

Adobe does not recommend using migration software to transfer the program from one mac to other.
You can remove the currently installed software and download Elelmets 10 from the direct download links available at : http://prodesigntools.com/photoshop-elements-10-direct-download-links-pse-premiere-pre.htm l

Photoshop Elements 5 Help Files

Get error "Help Topic Not Found. The topic you want to view applies to a product that you have not installed." in elements 5 when access help files.Have however removed and reinstalled Elements and not sure if this is cause.

Installing and Re-installing the product could have caused the problem.
Can you try the following steps:
Navigate to Users\[username]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Help Center\AdobeHelpData.
Click the Cache folder and press Delete.
Open Photoshop Elements and then choose Help > Premiere Elements Help.

Elements 10 Help Not Available

When trying to access HELP, I get the following message:
This installation of this application is damaged. Try re-installing or contacting the publisher for assistance.
Am I supposed to re-install Elements 10 from the downloaded DMG file? If so, do I move the existing file to Trash?

You can certainly try removing and reinstalling the software. The uninstaller can be located in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers.

As a happy user of the Matrox RT.X2 for many years, and later an equally happy user of a Matrox MXO2, I can say from experience that it is highly unlikely that this problem has anything to do with the Matrox hardware!
Can you open a new blank project, and save it?
If you cannot import your faulty project into a new project, can you import the sequence from your faulty project?
Have you tried clearing the Media Cache, clearing your preferences, etc. - all among the techniques used to resurrect a Premiere Pro project that has gone bad???
