Elements 11 toolbox doesn't appear.

I installed Elements 11 on my Mac OSX ver 7.5. It worked properly the first few times I opened it, but now the tool box doesn't appear in any editing mode. "Tools" is checked under window. I am also unable to drag the opened PSE window the way I could with the earlier version. Antbody have any wisdom here?

You are sure you're in expert mode? You should be able to drag the window smaller in any mode from the lower right corner.
If it's really stuck, go to the preferences and click this button, then relaunch the editor:

CS4 - Toolbox doesn't appear

Have seen the thread about keyboard, shortcuts etc not coming up, but have just upgraded to CS4 & can't even get the main toolbox (Windows XP) apart from the subsequent crashes. Also my documents from CS3 only half appear.
Tried re-installing, checking the memory etc but can't otherwise find anything wrong. Upgrades have always been totally smooth before. To start with ... is there anyway that I can just get everything that was normal in CS3 without wasting time? Am in UK (setting to Windows NT didn't make any difference). Many thanks for any help!

Some of the problems related to missing tools are resolved with the 6.0.1 update. Have you installed it?

HELP! My Photoshop toolbox will NOT appear on screen - What can I do???

I can bring up a photo from my desktop, open it in Photoshop, but then the toolbox doesn't appear, so I am rendered essentially Helpless!! Any Ideas??? My toolbox would Always come up automatically - Never a Problem - Until Now!

Some how, you must have altered or closed the various tool bars and panels. Try going up to the Window menu, and select a different workspace....try Essentials.

I open a file - playback - the audio is there - doesn't appear in timeline, but I hear it, after 1 edit, the audio disappears. I have to reboot to get it back then it happens again. All suggeswtions welcome. Thank you, Randy

Is your Premiere Elements 12/12.1 running on a Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit computer or a Mac computer?
What is the brand/model/settings of the camera recording your video?

Are you sure about the Frame Width and Frame Height that you gave 720 x 484? Did you mean 720 x 480?

For the Frame Rate, was it really 29.97 frames per second and you rounded it off to 29 frames per second? Or,
is the frame rate really 29 frames per second?
If the properties that you just posted are representative of your source file, what project preset did you or the
project set for the project preset? If you are not sure, please tell us the readings for Editing Mode, Timebase, Frame Size,
and Pixel Aspect Ratio under Edit Menu/Project Settings/General.
Still having problems - haven't been able to edit project.

Using 'Edit in' - Photoshop CC 2014, the program opens, but the file doesn't appear. Help!

I have Adobe CC Photography (great value!). I need to do some Photoshop editing of my pictures - principally Levels 0 and so use the 'Edit in' functionality.
This has worked in the past; but today, Photoshop opens, but the file doesn't appear in the PS window.
I uninstalled (using MacKeeper) a copy of Photoshop Elements 12 on my hard drive recently - could that be the cause? In any case, how do I get back to being able to 'Edit in'?

I am in the middle of an import project and my Elements 12 became corrupt because I uninstalled Photoshop Elements 12. I need to download PE 12 registered, licensed, paid for but the link I found (Download Premiere Elements products | 12, 11, 10) doesn't appear to offer it in English???
Is there somewhere else?

What computer operating system is involved? And, did you purchase the Premiere Elements 12 from Adobe direct?
If you purchased from Adobe direct, you should be able to obtain a new set of installation files from the Adobe web site "My Orders".
Have you been there and done that?
When you do that, you need to download two files, the exe (the smaller file, Adobe Download Assistant) and the .7z file (the larger file, the one for the program itself). You need both. The smaller is the Adobe Download Assistant. There may be more than one set of files to select from at Adobe. If you have
Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit, you want to make sure that you see "64 bit" somewhere in the title of the file(s) that you are selecting for download.
Once those files are on the computer, follow the instructions if you have not set up for an automatic opening of the 7z file.
If problems, please post again with more details.

Shake Stabilizer Doesn't Appear In Adjustments

Hi, I recently started using Premiere Elements 12. I've watched and followed tutorials on how to apply video stabilization and all say to simply click this button under adjustments. However, this doesn't appear in my adjustments menu. How can I add this?

Bottom Line: You do not add this to 12. You go to version 13, the latest version.
Details:
The Shake Stabilizer is just in Premiere Elements 13 (the current version) released September 24, 2014.
In Premiere Elements 12/12.1, your video editing stabilization opportunity is under fx Effects/Video Stabilizer/Stabilizer.
Please double check which version of Premiere Elements was used in the demo of the "Shake Stabilizer". It had to be 13.

(I think the daughter got he better end of the deal!) I believe if you change the password and user id one of the devices it will stop that from occurring. But I'm not the one to tell you how to do it; someone like "Illaass" (Illaass seems to know how to correct / fix almost anything!) will know how if you don't. Just look for the "cat" icon.

Can't delete file from desktop. Can't get info. Doesn't appear in ls -a. What?

I file has appeared on my desktop. I believe it's a temp file created while downloading something in Safari. When I try to delete it, I get "The item x can't be moved to the trash because it can't be deleted":
I tried right click > Get Info, and nothing happens (the info dialog does not appear).
I tried ls -al on my desktop, and the file doesn't appear in the list:
How do I get rid of this thing? What is it?

Weird. I guess if this were happening to me, I would see if the thing is still there after a reboot. If it is still there, I would boot with command-R and use Disk Utility to verify and repair the disk (not permissions).
The file name indicates you were downloading something to run under windows. Do you have windows?

Any Help? I bought a MacBook Air, but decided to return it for the newest model, and I wanted to back it up so that I can then back it up on my new MacBook Air. I didn't understand the option to Inherit or start a new back up, and therefore selected the option to create a new backup. I believe I should have selected to Inherit backup history so that when i back it up on the new MackBook Air, it appears the same as the one I'm returning.... Is there anyway that i can re-select the option to Inherit backup history for time machine?

Save/open dialog box doesn't appear

Hi,
I have something strange. I can open and edit a project by double clicking on it, also start a new project. But when I want to save or open a project via "save as" of "open project" the dialog box doesn't appear. Saving an existing file trough "ctrl+s" works.
Things I tried already are:
- Restart my computer (windows)
- Clear my AE cache
- Reinstal AE
Has anyone has this before? It would be great if it got solved because I can't complete work because of it.

Has it worked before: yes. It started after I opened a project (trough "open project") because double clicking on this project gives the follwoing error: "The directory name is invalid". Via "Open project" I could open it.

Do you have any third-party effects or codecs installed? Yes, Optical Flares & Trapcode. But is unrelated since it isn't a specific project.
Are you using Render Multiple Frames Simultaneously multiprocessing? Yes
