Elements 12 and Tablets

Has anyone been able to load Elements 12, standard or premiere, on to a Samsung Note 10.1 tablet? Also, is there a way to move files from the tablet to a USB flash drive without using the cloud? Thanks.

Photoshop Elements 7 and tablet

Okay so I have a new computer that is only a month old and runs on windows 7 and I've had my wacom bamboo pen and touch tablet with the photoshop elements 7 that came with it for over 2 years. On vista I never had a problem with them working together but on this computer all I get is a series of completely straight lines or dots when using ANY photoshop with it. I've tried everything I can think of to solve the issue. I thought my tablet was out of date to windows 7 so I tried reinstalling the software to everything and even went to the site to download the most recent drivers. I even had a new bamboo pen and touch bought and I just got it last week. So I installed all the software and it came with PE 7.0 for windows and the same thing is happening all over again on this brand new tablet. I have contacted wacom and they walked me through the process of installing a new driver (which i already knew how to do) and it still didn't work so they told me that its probably then a photoshop software issue and to contact adobe. So I'm here. I have downloaded the latest version of photoshop 7.0 patch already today and it still doesn't work. How can I fix this? I have brand new everything and I'm a multimedia design and development student so I REALLY need this to work. The tablet works perfectly in GIMP but I prefer photoshop over GIMP and I need Photoshop for my classes.

Photoshop Elements 4 and 3 installation error

In 2006 I bought a wacom graphire 4 tablet including photoshop elements 4 and 3. Recently I replaced my Mac (new Mac: OS X version 10.8.4 - 2.9 GHz Intel Core 15 - 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3) and now I want to install photoshop elements 4 and 3 again, and when the installation is almost finished I get an error. Please help me to install photoshop elements 4 and 3 to my new Mac.

Well, you should have known that if you upgraded to mountain lion you would lose all your ppc software. Apple has been warning that this was coming since around 2006 and PSE 3 stopped being compatible with OS X back around 10.4, after all. 10.7 has been out for over two years now, so it's not like this has been a big secret.

Problem with installing Photoshop elements 9 and adobe support advisor

Hi, I've received a graphic tablet with 2 programs: the first has been downloaded and works perfectly while the second, PSE9, has been giving me problems for at least a week!
I downloaded it and now I have a winzip file full of strange things (one of this is set up exe which tells me that I have to install adobe support advisor) and two files which said 3DF.tmp and PSEP9(1).zip.download and if I try to click them they tell me that I have to find on the Net the program to open them because I can't. And I don't know which program is required.
I tried a lot of times to download the adobe support advisor, I have enough space on my disc and my farewall is deactivated, but when the program begins I saw this annoyant message
cpsid_82829s5 Missing installation file bootstrapper error occured
with this code for a support from adobe 00-67325-032018052012
I unistalled it and retried, but nothing.
Please, I just want to use my tablet with the programs which are comprised in the package, why it's so difficult to download this damn photoshop elements 9????????????

In the error message it doesn't tell me
"Installer has detected that a machine restart is pending. It is recommended that you quit the installer, restart try again,"
neither "Installer failed to initialize. File not found. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem."
and I have enough space and I have Windows xp then I should be able to install it. I tried to unistall and install again the support advisor but nothing. I'm desperate.

Did you try the steps listed in http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-error-messages-b ootstrapper-cs5.html which was identified by the Adobe Support Advisor? If so can you please list each step and the result of those steps. This will allow us to best advise you on your next steps.

Drag and drop for PC and Tablet issues

Hi!
I’m doing a drag and drop for both PC and tablet.
I need to allow any elements (draggables) to be able to drop into any of the droppable areas and not just restrict to 1 area. I tried using the if/else statement, but I can’t seem to make it work. For example, Position 1 (droppable area) must be accept all the cases – case1, case2, case3 (draggables), but only 1 draggable on a droppable at any one time.

is a drawing tablet useful and recommended for Photoshop Elements 13 and Premiere Elements 13? possibly to buy what brand and what size ?

I now use the mouse, but is a drawing tablet easier to select something from a picture.For example,in order to cut a part of the picture.
But I have no plans to create a fabulous painting.
Maybe better to stick with the mouse and use the money for something else

Is the crash/shutdown for this one specific project or does it occur in new projects as well?
On what computer operating system are you running Premiere Elements 9 and are you running Premiere Elements as the 9.0.1 Update?
In cases such as these, the first factor to rule in or out are the preferences/setting file. Here you want to delete the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file.
The directions to its location will vary with the operating system. So the operating system information is important to post. Some of the many factors
that we need to evaluate
a. does the problem exist with and without antivirus and firewall(s) disabled.
b. are you using a pen and tablet device instead of a mouse.
c. does your computer need a clean up/clear out - is your computer optimized
Your answers to the questions above will help us to customize and plan appropriate troubleshooting strategy. So, let us start with the above and then decide what next.

What should I do to make photoshop elements 9 and 10 work on my computer again?

I got photoshop elements 10 with my new Intuos 5 drawing tablet. On my computer I already had two older versions of pse, versions 5 and 9. These two worked perfectly fine, till yesterday, they just wouldn't launch start anymore. I installed elements 10 on my computer, and this one didn't work either. I've looked on several forums and sites, and tried almost everything, like deleting preferences files, moving twain files, reïnstalling etc. But nothing worked for me. Am I doing something wrong? My computer search for a problem and it told me something about a compability problem. Please help me, I really want to use photoshop elements again and try out my new drawingtablet.

How to make editing desktop version automatically edit mobile and tablet versions

I have a website that is currently under development, and I was wondering if there is a way for the Mobile and Tablet versions to automatically update, when I edit the Desktop version.

If you're using Business Catalyst & Muse you can create a content holders . Place the Module on each page, then simply update the content holder via BC Admin and all pages will be updated. If you're not using Business Catalyst then you will always need to update each layout element.

Muse Mobile and Tablet questions!

Hi Everyone!
I have a couple of questions:
1. For one of my web pages I didn't make tablet layout. It's not an empty layout - it's not activated at all. That page is not visible on iPads. Is this because there is not tablet version and I need to make that or is that something else?
Why desktop is not visible on tablets (iPad in this case - didnt try android yet).
2. On mobiles, (layout is 380 pixels wide) android for example, when I open that site, pages are "too wide", I can move left/right a little bit, but when I tap twice it fits to the screen. I want to have everything nice on each mobile device without any action from the user. I heard about code to paste (viewport code): "<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=1.0, user-scalable=0"". I put this into page properties/metadata, was fine with vertical layout, but with horizontal viewing on mobile, things like full background photo slide show or other elements were displayed completely wrong. I didn't try to paste viewport code as a html in each page. Is that a reason for the problem, or is that something else? If not viewport code, what to do for universal page dimensions if something like that is possible to set at all?
3. The last problem so far to me is, when I have some images in vertical layout on mobile, lets say it looks ok. Looking in horizontal, pictures are zoomed in, and they look blurry. I see same thing viewing some mobile templates for example at themeforest.net. What to do, to get nice sharp looking image on both layouts? Is responsive widget (different pictures depends on size displayed) the answer? I know about retina (retina@x2) images, but that probably would help just for retina displays. What to do to have nice sharp looking images on both layouts on mobile version? Probably same problem is viewing tablet site at different layouts, when horizontal will be zoomed in (stretched to the sides) to fill the browser window.

IPhoto with Adobe Photoshop Elements 4 and Adobe Bridge

I have not used iPhoto before now as I have been downloading photos from my Canon and Nikon cameras using their software. I have now moved everything into iPhoto but cannot find iPhoto using Adobe Bridge so I am unable to do any editing using Elements 4. Previously I could find the Canon and Nikon photos using Adobe Bridge. With a simple click on the relevant photo it opened up in Adobe Photoshop Elements 4 and I was able to edit it. Now using Bridge I simply cannot find iPhoto thus I cannot use PSE4. Can someone help before I go crazy ? I havde called Apple support but they have been unable to help me and suggested using Discussions@Apple

Many thanks for your quick response although, as a new iMac user, the mere mention of the word "corrupt" scares me ! I previously used a PC with Windows XP and PSE3 and loved being able to sort all my photos into albums with PSE3. Unfortunately the PSE4 which I have installed on my iMac doesn't let users sort their photos into albums and the only alternative is Adobe Bridge. I only recently started to use iPhoto after a visit to an Apple Store and it's great being able to catalog my photos so easily. Unfortunately PSE is far and away superior to any editing software that iPhoto has to offer. Anyway, I'll cross my fingers and try your suggestion first thing tomorrow morning.

Are you planning to have separate URLs for desktops, tablets and mobile devices? That seems like a logistic nightmare to maintain.
Why haven't you re-built your desktop site with FluidGrid Layouts or CSS Media Queries in DW? One site that works in all devices makes more sense.

What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12 running on? Did you have the opportunity to update 12 to 12.1 Update yet using an opened project's Help Menu/Update? If not, please do so when you get the opportunity.
