Elements 12 constantly crashes and or freezes

After restarting the program the start up stops at ExporterQuickTimeHost. The problem recently developed and any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

You could give one more try at the uninstall, ccleaner run through (regular cleaner and registry cleaner parts), reinstall with the antivirus and firewall turned off.
And if necessary after that, I would follow that immediately with the deletion of the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file.
Depending on the results, you may want to weigh the merits of doing this from a new User Account with Administrative Privileges to rule in or out that your User Account has become corrupted.
It may be a good idea to see what Adobe via its Adobe Chat has to say about all this. That does not prohibit us from discussing the issue further if indicated.
Click on the following link. The goal is to reach Adobe Chat to discuss "Downloading, Installing, and Setting Up". The Adobe Chat format has changed. I will try to set for the page you need, but you may end up having to navigate to the following to select the Chat choice.
Contact Customer Care
You want to get to a page that looks like
and click on Chat. One of the advantage of Adobe Chat is that, if it decides necessary, it can take remote control over your computer
for the troubleshooting.
Please update us on your progress.
Thanks.

I have updated all my software but my Safari keeps crashing and/or freezing, so I have to force quit it. I don't know why it keeps doing this! Maybe I should start using a different internet browser? Help!

If Safari has just crashed, press the Report button on the CrashReporter dialog box to view the crash  information.
Copy/paste the entire contents of the Crash Reporter window into your reply here.
If the crash report dialog does not appear or the crash is hard to reproduce, crash logs can be retrieved from the ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter> folder.

  • Firefox constantly crashes and sends error reports

    Hello,
I've installed the latest version of firefox on my new computer (which uses Windows 8) but it constantly crashes and sends error reports. Often when I send the error report and restart firefox, it just crashes again before the pages can even restore. I've reset firefox but this hasn't sorted the problem. I even tried completely uninstalling firefox and reinstalling it but this hasn't helped either. I've tried running it with no addons too but this hasn't helped either!
I'd be really grateful if someone could help me. Thanks in advance.

If you installed Firefox 19, it has a known issue with certain graphics cards on Windows 8. Try installing Firefox 18.0.2 over your existing installation (no need to uninstall Firefox 19 first).

  • After installing the latest updates, my iMac will constantly crash and reboot.

After installing the latest updates for Mac OS X yesterday, my iMac constantly crashes and reboots. It will only boot properly in safe mode. Even when starting with command+R for recovery the kernel crashes. I have had this iMac for about 3 years and never had an issue until last night, when this problem started and it seems to have gotten worse over night. I already tried the <option><command><R><P>, but it seems that that made it worse as well.

Note the date and time the problem occurred, then go to Applications/Utilities/Console and copy the log starting at the time of the crash. Paste the log in a reply. Please do not use a screen shot as they can be hard to read. If there are repeated runs of the same messages, please post only one run. Be selective about what you post and don’t  post huge amounts. • My iphone is constantly crashing and freezing.

I have to force restart it every five minutes after the freeze. The WiFi also disables all the time. If I restart my iPhone, the WiFi will be enabled sometimes. I've charged it to one hundred percent but it still crashes and burns. It doesn't allow me to call and text even without WiFi on my data either. It is only 1 month old if that helps.

  • Windows 7 all browsers constantly crashing and SSD disk has way to much used space than all the folders are combined in size.

I recently built a computer and was installing Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit on it. I have a few problems going on. First of all all my browser are constantly crashing (including IE, Firefox and Google Chrome) on random reasons. I checked the conflicts on chrome
and there were none conflicting with it. I did the /sparrow thing to clear and fix corruption but that did not work. I've tried making a new user file in Chrome, same results. Another problem I've been having is that my SSD disk that I have Windows installed
on shows way to much space being used in My Computer. I checked all the file sizes within it and it is a maximum of 40GB all put togather but My Computer says only 28GB is free of 111GB SSD drive.
Here are the specs to my computer:
    AMD FX 8350 CPU
    Mushkin 16GB 1866hz RAM
    Gigabyte Radeon R9 270x 4GB VRAM GPU
    Gigabyte 990FXA-UD5 motherboard
    600W Amrageddon PSU
    120GB Mushkin Chronos Deluxe SSD
    2TB SSHD Seagate
Anyone know what I can do?
P.S Drive cleanup freed only 500MB and the Recycle Bin is empty
P.P.S I moved the Program files from the SSD to the SSHD (If that matters) Also the download folder.

    HH
1-You can check what is using the space with a free 3rd party tool called Treesize from Jam software
2-I believe you have a hardware issue and here is why.
    Event viewer logs show
1-The platform firmware has corrupted memory (see snip)
2-The Browser are crashing because of something called a memory exception (Cx05) see snip
I would check for a BIOS update, configure your system to generate a user mode DMP file and upload it when they crash.  Beyond that there are only a few events in EV (~300).  We can alwasy use more.
You can configure Windows to create user-mode dumps. Create a System Restore Point first.
Copy and paste the following in Notepad and save as a .reg file, then right-click the .reg file and select "Merge" to add to the registry, a .dmp file  should be created in the C:\CrashDumps folder:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Error Reporting\LocalDumps\explorer.exe]
    "DumpFolder"=hex(2):43,00,3a,00,5c,00,43,00,72,00,61,00,73,00,68,00,44,00,75,\
    00,6d,00,70,00,73,00,00,00
    "DumpCount"=dword:00000010
    "DumpType"=dword:00000001
    "CustomDumpFlags"=dword:00000000
After the app crashes, can you then upload the  dmp file via Windows Live Onedrive or other file sharing site.
The following link has information on using Windows Live Onedrive:

  • Photoshop elements 13 constantly crashes

Elements 13 Organizer crashes when I try to open it.  I get an error message after program shows dialog box asking if I want to backup.

You're right.  I'm using a Macbook Pro with 2.2 GHz Intel Core and 4 GB Memory.  Elements 13 crashed during use and upon attempts to reopen, I receive this message: "The last time you opened Elements Organizer, it unexpectedly quit while reopening windows.  Do you want to try to reopen its windows again?"  The choices are Don't Reopen and Reopen.  When I choose Reopen the program reopens until it reaches the catalog and shows the dialog box asking if I wish to backup catalog and then crashes.  I then get a Problem Report for Adobe Elements 13 Organizer dialog box: Adobe Elements 13 Organizer quit unexpectedly.  It then lists Problem Details and System Configuration:

NoScript stops cookies, please disable this addon/extension as well as make sure that the language en-us is installed.
    # 1) Open up the Firefox Preferences tab. You can do this by typing about:preferences in the URL bar.
    # 2) Click "Content"
    # 3) Next to "Languages", click "Choose"
    # 4) Select "English/United States [en-us]", click "Add"
    # 5) re-open "about:accounts"
    # 6) Click "Get Started"
    </blockquote>
Thank you for replying. Unfortunately, I already did all of these things. As you can see from the below screenshot, the language is already set. Also, this screenshot was taken in Safe Mode, so NoScript is not enabled. About:accounts still says I need to enable cookies for some reason. So, this solution didn't work....

  • Running ios5.1.1 on original iPad. system constantly crashes and returns to home page when on the web. using safari.

Running IOs 5.1.1 on original Ipad. System constantly crashes returning to the home screen when in internet. Using Safari browser. is there anything I can upgrade or clear to help??

There are a few things that you could try. First try clearing Safari's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cookies And Data and also Clear History
If that doesn't work then try closing Safari completely and then re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

  • Adobe Premiere Pro is constantly crashing and freezing

I'm a new user to adobe and I've used their free trials in the past for cs6, but this latest version of Premiere Pro keeps crashing while I'm in the middle of projects. I really don't know what the problem is. Is there something I need to update?

    Macbook Pro 13" 2013
    OS Mavericks
    8gb RAM
Processor  2.5 GHz Intel Core i5
Graphics  Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB
I forget what it said specifically, but the error message said something along the lines of
"There was a serious problem with Premiere pro and it needs to shut down immediately. It will try to save your current session"

  • My Mail app on my Macbook Air with Mountain Lion constantly crashes and freezes.

Can I uninstall and reinstall it?

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
    Step 1
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left.
Enter the name of the crashed application or process in the Filter text field. Select the messages from the time of the last crash, if any. Copy them (command-C) to the Clipboard. Paste (command-V) into a reply to this message.
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.
    Step 2
Still in the Console window, look under User Diagnostic Reports for crash reports related to the process. The report name starts with the name of the crashed process, and ends with ".crash". Select the most recent report and post the entire contents — again, the text, not a screenshot. In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.) Please don’t post shutdownStall, spin, or hang logs — they're very long and not helpful.

  • Problems using yahoo in firefox, constantly crashes and freezes up. says 'server cannot be found'

also have trouble checking other sites.

I'm having the same problem as above with the message displayed 'Cannot Open Page -Safari cannot open the page because the server cannot be found'. The problem has only started occurring since I updated the operating system on my 3GS to iOS 4.
For information I'm on the Orange network in the UK.
Generally speaking, after a few refreshes the page does display. I have tried viewing the same webpage on my iMac and it displays without any problems whilst the iPhone continues to display the same error message - Strangely it doesn't happen on all websites!!! Ideas anyone?

  • Computer constantly crashes and now videos take forever to load and play.

When I watch videos, doesn't matter where they come from, my computer hangs like crazy and half the time, I just abandon the video.  My computer also crashes constantly, yet everything is updated and in working order.  I could be in the middle of reading an article of news and all of the sudden the whole system goes black and blank and then after about 30 seconds the whole computer goes off.  I have cleaned it out with canned air and everything recommended.  Can I go back to Windows 8 and abandon 8.1 altogether?  I need help with these matters and in layman's terms please.  Why does this keep happening?  What viable solutions are there for all these problems?  Nothing started happening until my computer automatically updated with 8.1 and its now been a year of nightmares endlessly.  PLEASE HELP.

I am no expert but I think there is an issue with Windows updates for 8.1 and HP desktops, my mouse was dragging, sound was staticy with humming and crackling and video would freeze intermittenly . What finally fixed my machine was a full recovery and blocking windows updates. Now my machine is perfect other than the fact that the beats sounds terrible. The beats work fine now they just sound terrible.
