hi I have downloaded Photoshop CC as part of the free trail creative cloud package, I can see my apps in my downloads as "up to date" however, the apps does not show in my applications and would not launch??

ADOBE PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 9 Does not want to open on my MAc
Hi folks, Hopefully one of you might help me out here...I just bought the Leica VLUX2 digital camera and I tried to download the software Adobe Photoshop elements 9 to my mac but I can't open the file after it unzips...The file I can't open says, "97005050.7z" My Mac says, There is no application set to open the document “97005050.7z”. PLEASE HELP.

The problem is that you've got corrupted fonts. It took me hours to find the problem and no time at all to fix. Just open Font Book in your Applications and verify your fonts, then Trash the bad ones that get flagged. You'll have to Restart the computer afterward because fonts are loaded at startup and you can't just toss them in the Trash and expect them stop working. -
Firefox does not auto log in, this was working yesterday until it was updated.
Auto log in is not working after update to 3.6.9. This feature was working yesterday. I can still see all of my user names and passwords in the password manager.
"Remember me" options are stored in cookies. First try removing the cookies for the site and then log in and see if it remembers you the next time you visit the site. Details of how to do that are shown in the [[deleting cookies]] article.
If that does not work, the file that stores cookies may be corrupt and you can try deleting the file to see if that resolves the problem.

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

When will Premiere Elements 13 support 2.7K and 4K??
I have fixed all the IP adresses to avoid the DHCP problem but I still have problems.
I have sereval scenarioes:
1. MC < 1Gb wire > WRT610N < 5.0n WIFI > MX
I can see HDTV on this one but it disconnects
2. MC < 1Gb wire > WRT610N < 2.4b/g WIFI > MX
No HDTV and disconnections
3. MC < 2.4b/g WIFI > WRT610N < 2.4b/g WIFI > MX
No HDTV but no disconnections - but very slow and streaming like youtube
4. MC < 100Mb wire > WRT610N < 2.4b/g WIFI > MX
No HDTV but nice picture - testing for disconnections right now - 30+ min.
Result:
This test was very good. Stabil streaming, no disconnects for an hour. Won't support HDTV but the rest seem to work fine.
5. MC < 100Mb wire > WRT610N < 5.0n WIFI > MX
Not tested yet - looking forward to this - might bring me HDTV.
Result:
This gives HDTV but there is a problem with stability on the streaming but very difficult to see on the picture. Testing for disconnects - now tested for 30 min. - no disconnects.
This looks really promissing.
I am pretty sure that the WRT610N have a problem in the switching part of the router specially when it has to switch from 1G to WIFI. I bought the WRT610N to get HDTV on WIFI and Cisco markets the DMA and WRT610N as a perfect match. But it definately have problems - i still do not understand their silence about this.
I will come back with the last results when I have them

I do not know why today my IPOD run out of battery and when I get home and place it to charge, It never came back to life, he is dead. I do not know how to start it.
Try pressing the lock and home buttons at the same time and hold down until something appears on the screen.

Premiere elements 12 does not launch, nothing happens
I've been using Premiere Elements 12 a few weeks ago and it used to work fine but since yesterday I'm not able to launch it. I don't get any error message, just nothing happens.
I tried to reinstall it, disable the firewall too, but nothing works I don't know what to do.
I own a Dell Inspiron 15R, Windows 8 64bit, intel core i5-4200U CPU @ 1.60GHz 2.30GHz.
Any suggestions ?Mike

Consequently, good idea to monitor the results in this thread, but it would probably be to your advantage to start your own new thread if you do not see answers in the thread we are in now going in your direction.

a. Are you working with Photoshop Elements or Premiere Elements?
b. Have you read all the information in the links provided in this thread?
c. Have you attempted to uninstall/ccleaner/reinstall the Adobe Reader if you suspect that its update is at the core of your problems?

Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 does not work with Yosemite 10.10
My Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 does not work with Yosemite 10.10 nor does my Premier Elements 12. When I try to start them up I get the error message. After uninstalling and reinstalling a few times its still the same. Strangely enough PSE 11 seem to work with Yosemite. I uninstalled my Premier Elements as well and it behave the same way. How do I get a new copy of Premier Elements 12 to reinstall?
Just to further test what is happening to my iMac on Yosemite is I downloaded the trial version of Photoshop CC and when I go to launch it it gives mr the same error message as when I try to launch PES 12 or Premier Elements 12. So whatever the problem is it involves all three and so upgrading to Photoshop CC doesn't even help. Could there be an Adobe file damaged or missing somewhere that is common to these and yet does not effect Revel and Lightroom?

In the last 2 days my Ipad does not want to connect to the internet via my home wifi's i have not done anything different so cany understand why this is happeniong. it just wont connect. Its a good job i have my 3g connection otherwise it would be worthless. i have tried resetting my wifi connections on my pad and unplugging the modem and resetting that. nothing is working. i have read several forums about this and seems to be an issue with a lot of ipads, i have read what you can do, however i dont think i should have to reset this, reset that, change this and change that when clearly its an apple issue.
can someone provide me with any simple way of fixing this issue. or can apple spend a little bit of their millions of dollars of profit to fix this little proble.Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app

• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

Trying to update my Itunes software, now it does not want to work at all, givin strange error messages.
First, when trying to sync ipod touch to Itunes, nothing happened. After that, Itunes suggested downloading and installing updates but now updates will not finish installation correctly and launch error messages. Any ideas?
TKS !These ones are typically caused by underlying problems on the PC that also often cause Windows Updates to fail to install. If we can fix the Windows Update trouble, we can usually get the iTunes trouble cleaned up en passant.
Go into your Windows update and try to check for new updates. If updates install, stock up on the ones you're behind on, restarting the PC if requested to do so. After the restart, try installing iTunes again. Does it go through this time for you?
If windows updates fail to install, go into your Update History and doubleclick the failures. What alphanumeric codes appear for you? Are they also 800736B3s, or a different error code? If they're different, what codes are you getting in Windows Update?
