Elements 12 manual for vision impaired

I am wondering if there is another manual available for Photoshop Elements 12 with a larger font type?  I am unable to print pages with larger font and when trying to read on my ipad I am unable to increase the font size.  Is there assistance with the manual for the vision impaired?

You might be better off downloading the PDF version of the manuals from https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements.html and using the ipad in-built reader to view them. Or if you don't like the in-built reader this article may help you pick an alterative - http://www.labnol.org/software/ipad-pdf-reader-apps/13807/

  • Application to make Adobe Audition compatible for vision impaired

I'm working with someone who is blind and wants to use Audition. Any suggestions for tools or applications that are compatible? Jaws for Windows is not.

    Hi,
At this time, Audition does not have support for screen readers, but I hope to resolve this soon.  Ensuring accessibility for sight-impaired users is important to myself and others on the team, and I'd love for them to be able to record and edit in Audition.
If interested, please feel free to contact me at [email protected]  Once we can determine the scope and schedule, I'll certainly need to rely upon the feedback of actual users of screen reader tools to ensure our compatibility and support is adequate.
    Thanks!

  • Help for vision impaired?

I purchased a white iphone 4  so I could find it in my bag,  then had to have a band around it to improve signal (black) to get 3 network.
I want a case to protect it, which will prevent scratches and hopefully return it to white or another bright colour, but that will fit around  the band, and protect my phone. Apple say they can't tell me this information as they don't know if their products fit with the signal band they sold. Unhappy London apple user.

You could've chosen to have a white "bumper" instead of a black one:

And, unless you actually have signal problems, the bumper is not essential.

  • Looking For A Good Book Or Manual for Photoshop Elements 3.0

Photoshop Elements 3.0 is my very first photo editing program and am looking for a book that will show me how to use all of the features. Comments on the following 3 books would be greatly appreciated.
Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0 Classroom in a Book
The Photoshop Elements 3 Book for Digital Photographers
Photoshop elements 3: The Missing Manual

I have PE3 so would be glad to pay the shipping if they are of no use to you anymore. Would both PE2 and 3 be necessary or would PE3 be good enough? Should I contact you by email?
Ken and Colin, your comments are a great help too. Thanks for the responds. I'll look online for The Photoshop Elements 3 Book for Digital Photographers. Wasn't thinking...the only ones at the stores are the more current versions.

  • Where can I find instructions or manual for using Premier elements 12?

Looking for instructions or manual for using Premier Elements 12. Has Photoshope Elements 7 and Premier Elements 7. I had saved projects which I now cannot retrieve into the 12 versions.

    bone
I have Photoshop Elements 7 and Premiere Elements 7 on Windows 7 Professional SP1 64 bit as well as on Windows 8 64 bit. All is well.
With your Photoshop Elements 7 your Windows 7, what do the Performance numbers look like under Full Editor, Edit Menu/Preferences/Performance?
My Windows 7 64 bit has the Windows XP compatibility mode. Due to the results from some of my recent maneuvers, I wonder about your thoughts of installing Photoshop Elements 7 on the Windows XP Mode side and gaining access to it from the Windows 7 side. You may loss the integration perks of Photoshop Elements 7 and Premiere Elements 7 since they technically will be on different operating systems.
I will explain next time if necessary how that type of idea backfired on me recently with my long standing problem of trying to get Photoshop Elements 12 Full Editor to open in my Windows 7 64 bit desktop.

  • Where can I get a manual for Photoshop Elements 10? Am I eligible for an upgrade to 11?

I bought my Photoshop Elements 10 last September 6th of this year and I was wondering where I could get a printed manual for the program or PDF that I could print. It is hard watching a video and then doing what they did. I would like a printed manual so I just look at the instruction and then do it. Also am I eligible for an upgrade to 11? If so, how much is the cost?
Thanks for any response to this.

  • How can I ge a printed user manual for Photoshop Elements 12

Is a printed user manual for photoshop elements 12 available?

    Hi venice50,
I've moved your discussion to the Photoshop Elements forum. Please see this page: Photoshop Elements Learn & Support.
Click the Previous versions links at the bottom of the Help and Tutorials list to find links to PDF versions of Photoshop Elements 12 Help. I don't know whether there are printed versions available, but the smart folks who visit this forum regularly should be able to point you to them, if they exist.

  • Is there a user manual for Premier Elements 11?

Can't find a manual for Premier Elements 11 but I can find the one for ver 12 easily. Can anyone tell me whether there is one for ver 11 and, if so, provide a link?
    thanks much for helping!

    I saw your thread
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/5850138#5850138
and was going to dig into it, but then got detoured.  It looked like more than I am used to.
We can continue this discussion in the other thread, so I will just mentioned details that I was going to ask about (just in case I get detoured again.)
    a. Are you saying that you have a live feed of video and audio going into Premiere Elements? If so,
what did you set as the project preset beforehand so that it would match the properties of your source media.
    b. What are those properties of your source media?
    c. I do not know if I can do a live feed of video and audio from camera into Premiere Elements, but I could give it a try. What is the connection type and what do the connections look like?
If I am correct in my understanding of what you are doing, can you get the video and audio in sync if you import the video and audio files after recording.
I suspect most of what you are seeking is advanced and are less likely to be found in the typical books available. So, if possible, you might want to preview books before purchase. There are not inexpensive.
    More later.
    Thanks.

  • As a vision-impaired user of a 1.25GH ( 1.25MB RAM) iMac G4 I am very reluctant to try to install Leopard on it (running Tiger at the moment).  I want to have all my old non-Apple apps there.  Robert Davis.

As a vision-impaired user of an iMac G4 (1.25GH and 1.25MB of RAM) I am very wary of putting Leopard on my system.  I know if I do a clean install I'll have to put all my software back on which would take me ages as I have stuff in OS 9 as well running in Classic, but if I do an archive install I know the Apple software will go in but what happens to all my other apps?  The preamble on the disk doesn't make this really clear.  If it is too difficult then I guess it's time for a new Intel model but I like the G4 as I can get my face right up in the screen without having to move the computer, something you have to do to with the new models.  Can anyone help - I don't want to be stuck for a month without a computer until my stepson comes back from holidays as he is head of IT at a school  school that run all Macs.  Please excuse any faux pas in this - I am new to the support community.
    RobertfromBradbury.

You could use A&I, selecting Preserve Users and Network Settings. This should keep your third party apps but you will lose Classic and OS 9, which are not supported by Leopard. Before upgrading, I would also check to see which third party apps may not be Leopard compatible or will need updating.
If you still want to proceed, you should definitely have a cloned bootable backup of your current setup, in case you need to revert, or find something possibly missing after you upgrade. I wouldn't make a move without one. I use Carbon Copy Cloner. You could keep the old setup that includes Classic and OS 9 on a separate partition on an external drive and still be able to work from that when needed.

You might find some apps that are not Leopard compatible.
You will also need enough free drive space to accomodate the new OS, as well as the Previous System Folder.
I don't see why you wouldn't be able to get your face right up to the screen of any of the new iMacs. And you can have a much bigger screen, 27". But you will be stuck running Lion, which will try to turn your computer into a giant iPad. A refurb might still be able to run Snow Leopard.

  • Manual for Macusers

I have just bought Elements 12. I am a Mac user (iMac and Macbook) and I am searching for a manual Photoshop Elements 12 specially for the Mac. Elements 12 for the Mac has no Dutch version, so I have the English version. I have a manual but that is mainly for Windows and some functions in the Mac version ar probably hidden on different places. So I am desperately looking for a manual for Mac.
Can anybody tell me weather there is one available.

There are no manuals or help files specifically for Mac users.  The generic ones are at this link:
    <http://helpx.adobe.com/pdf/photoshop-elements_reference.pdf>
    <http://helpx.adobe.com/pdf/elements-organizer_reference.pdf>
If these can't help you then I am afraid you'll have to buy books.

  • Is there a printed manual for Photoshop Touch?

I'd like a printed manual for Photoshop Touch for Tablet.

I think there was a PDF quick start but that was for version 1.3; we're now on 1.5.1, which is a little different.
My advice for people who just picked up PS Touch is to have a rudimentary understanding of Photoshop's main paradigm: Layers. From there, it's a matter of understanding the similarities and differences between the two.
e.g., Photoshop & Photoshop Elements have adjustment and layer masks but PS Touch lets you "paint" an effect onto a layer, even though it's destructive. (You can, however, mimic something like an adjustment mask by simply inserting a blank layer, filling it with neutral gray, setting the blend mode to Overlay, and then paint with the brush tool using various levels of black or white.)
Effects and adjustments like Curves and Levels work very similarly.
