Elements 12 Organisor keeps crashing?

Running Elements 12 Organisor on a PC with Windows 7 and after about 5 mins a message come sup saying it has to close..no error code.
I have reinstalled and checked all Adobe and MS updates..same problem...
Elements 12 editor works fine and previous versions of Elements have all worked fine..
anyone experienced the same issue?

Please follow the path below and delete or disable the Elements Organizer 12 settings file named psa.prf.

Organizer
and in the Organizer Folder change the name of the psa.prf from psa.prf to psa.prfOLD to disable it. If you want, you can just delete it instead. After you close out of there and open Premiere Elements 12 again, a new psa.prf file will be generated by the program and hopefully the issue will be gone.
Be sure to be working with Folder Option Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives active so that you can see the complete path involved.
Any clarification needed, please do not hesitate to ask.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0 keeps crashing.

I have been using Elements 4.0 for quite a while, but lately it keeps crashing when I use it. I tried renaming the Preferences file, then I re-installed the program from the disc. It is still crashing when I try to open some files. I got the message "You cana't use this version of the application Preview.app with this version of Mac OS X. You have Preview app 3.0.9."
What do I do now?

Well, good luck with your hard drive; FWIW, a hard drive has nothing to do with the compatibility of an app or an OS, so if you can get the outdated PS Elements to still work - kudos to you!

Adobe Premiere Elements 7.0 keeps crashing

hey I have been editing my video for a while now but for some reason now cant even click pause without crashing I dont no what I have done but please dont say i have to do it all over again. says adobe premiere Elements.exe has stopped working.
one more thing I rendered the video and it still works like a 1980s video camera its shocking. I had to convert them to avi because its one of those video cameras that record it on the mini dvd. please help with that thanks

With more information about your computer hardware and how you converted the video you're editing, it's impossible to help you, Mitchell. Also, you really haven't given us much to work with except that the program doesn't work.
It might be best to contact Adobe Tech Support. They'll be able to ask the necessary questions and walk you through some troubleshooting.

Premiere Elements 12 Organizer keeps crashing.

I recently purchased a retail version of Adobe Premiere Elements 12. When trying to access the Organizer, either from the Welcome screen or from the Edit window I receive this error msg. "Elements Organizer has stopped working"., and then the program closes. I have tried several things suggested by support, including uninstalling and re-installing, downloaded and implimented Adobe Support Adviser, ( no issues found), but nothing seems to work. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium on an x64 based pc laptop, (Lenovo i7 - 2670QM CPU, 2.20 GHz, 220 Mhz), 4 GB RAM).
I am new to Adobe Elements so don't know what else to try. If anyone can suggest something further to try, PLEASE advise.

Photoshop Elements 10 now keeps crashing as soon as it is loaded

I have a nine year old HP Pavillion dv6000 laptop which I have used during that period to run PSE versions 3, 7 and now 10. I have had no problems with any PSE version during that time including PSE 10. However, recently PSE 10 has now decided to crash every time I load it. As soon as I load it, I get the following message:
"RUNTIME ERROR!
PROGRAM: C/: PROGRAM FI...
THE APPLICATION HAS REQUESTED THE RUNTIME TO TERMINATE IT IN AN UNUSUAL WAY. PLEASE CONTACT THE APPLICATION'S SUPPORT TEAM FOR MORE INFORMATION"
The message appears in lower case. I have shown it in capitals for clarification.
I have tried rebooting, defragmenting (twice) and deleting and reloading PSE 10 (three times) with no improvement.
Quite why PSE 10 now crashes in this way after running without problem for several months defeats me. I don't really want to buy a new laptop just to get PSE 10 back.
The only thing I have changed is setting it so that the initial loading screen does not appear, the loading now goes straight to the editor without giving the choice between Organiser and Editor (I do not use the Organiser). As PSE 10 now longer loads properly, I cannot now deselect this option to see if it is the cause of the problem.
Any ideas please?

Slideshow in Photoshop Elements 9 keeps crashing when I try to output it to movie file (wmv)

Made a slideshow using Photoshop Elements 9 that keeps crashing when I try to output it to movie file (wmv).
This message appear: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error
This is totally new to me as I have made a few slidshows before and saved them into wmv-files without any problem.I tried to open the file and renew it "save as" and did the whole procedure over again but it still crasches. There is no video in the slideshow and all pics are .jpg and to summarize it - 5 days of work is nearly gone if this doesent convert into a wmv-file..... Pls advise any suggestion what to try here.

Your crash has nothing to do with the junk filter. It looks more like a corrupt preferences file. If you're curious, you may check the validity of that file issuing the following command in Terminal:
plutil ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plistWhat does it say? Now, try this:
1. Quit Mail.
2. Make a backup copy of the HOME/Library/Mail folder, just in case something goes wrong. You can do this in the Finder by dragging the folder to the Desktop while holding the Option (Alt) key down, for example. This is where all your mail is stored.
3. In the Finder, go to HOME/Library/Preferences/. Locate the file com.apple.mail.plist and move it to the Desktop (to be deleted if this fixes the problem).
You'll have to set up your accounts from scratch all over again. If given the option to import existing mailboxes or something like that, don't. Just enter the account information and Mail will automagically rediscover the data in HOME/Library/Mail/ when done.
You'll also have to re-configure most of your settings in Mail > Preferences. The first thing you should do is go to Preferences > Viewing and disable "Display remote images in HTML messages" if it's enabled.

Photoshop Elements 11 keeps crashing

So i just bought Photoshop Elements 11 today. I installed it, and all went well. But now when i try to open photoshop elements editor it gives me a "adobe photoshop elements 11 has stopped working" screen and then closes immediately after.
What is the solution to this?

For the past few months, I have been having the same problem.
Every 30 min to 1 hour, Adobe Premiere Elements 11 Editor keeps crashing.
This never happened wtih the 4 prior versions of this software that I have.
I have a new Windows 7, 64bit system computer.

For some reason Photoshop elements 4.0 keeps crashing. I have the crash log but don't understand it. Can anyone help? All my other applications work fine.
I send reports to Apple and Adobe is really no help at all.

Hmm. I would try this. First remove com.adobe.bridge.plist. If that doesn't do it, go to applications>PE 4.0>plug-ins>import/export and remove the Adobe TWAIN driver. See if that helps.
EDIT Oh, wait. Before doing either of those, delete the Opera preferences folder. That may be your problem (PE help is run on opera).

Adobe premiere elements 12 will not open keeps crashing

I am on a mac using osX 10.8.5 and my program will not open. It just keeps crashing. i have tried shutting down my computer several times but it will not work. The Organizer seems to to work but not the Video editor and it shuts down when i click "new project" any ideas anyone?

Welcome to Adobe Forums.
It seems like Premiere Elements 12 is not activated properly.
Please open the finder window and click on go and choose computer.
Navigate to the below path then
MacHD>Library>Application support>Adobe
Rename the files SLstore and Slcache to Slstore.old and Slcache.old respectively.
Launch Premiere elements 12 again it will prompt you to enter your Adobe id and password and then the serial number.
By following the above steps you will have to reactivate your Adobe products. Make sure you have no other Adobe product.
If you have any other adobe product installed make sure you have the serial number for that.

Premiere Elements 8 Keeps Crashing

I'm creating a 3 - 5 minute video in Premiere Elements 8.0, which I purchased online from the Adobe store. The specs for the video and computer are as follows:
The camcorder I used to shoot the footage is a Sony Handycam with model number HDR-SR12. It's a digital HD video camera recorder that shoots in NTSC 1920x1080i HD recording. The footage was shot with AVC HD 9M (HQ), which records in higher image quality mode. The video camera is connected to my computer through a USB cable.
The computer itself is a Windows 7 desktop computer. The CPU is an HP Pavilion Elite HPE-150f PC with Intel Core i7-860 processor. I imported the video into Premiere by selecting "File" --> "Get Media From" and then choosing the third option from the top.
My import option is NTSC/AVCHD/Full HD 1080i 30 5.1 channel, which matches the specs of the camera I shot the footage with.
The video itself consists of an introduction, two voice-overs in a row, and a conclusion. They are seperated by the "fade to white" video transition. I was working on the video in order from the beginning. Once I had trimmed each part of the video, I deleted parts of the audio where I was intending to add my voice-overs in. While working on the project, I never rendered the video by pressing "Enter."
Up to this point, everything was working fine. I added the voice-over by adding the video clip with the voice-over, and unlinked the audio and video. Then I deleted the video, since that was not needed. I placed the audio into the narration part of the timeline (but all other audio components thusfar are in the audio section). This is the point where the computer first crashed.
I was able to recover my work and continue onwards. I successfully added both voice-overs to the video. Then I added in a music file to the bottom most part of the timeline. This is where the program crashed again. Now, whenever I open that particular video project file, it always crashes when I drag the cursor over the timeline. I tried rendering the video itself by pressing "enter," and while it rendered fine without crashing, the program still crashed when I touched the timeline. I also removed the music file from the video project, but it still keeps crashing.
Clearing up space via Disk Cleanup and Disk Defragmenter did not solve this problem. My C drive still has several hundred gigabytes of memory left, and my D drive, which is occupied only by Recovery, only has about 1.64 GB left on it.
The odd thing is that the problem is isolated to that single video project. I opened up one of my older projects, a 9 minute practise video with audio and music components, but no narration components. I fiddled around with that, and the program never crashed. I also opened up a new project, and put in the introduction and two voice-overs from the video project I was working on, and the program did not crash at all.
I want to know why the program crashed in the first place, and why it kept crashing on that one video project, and not on others. Any help in this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If I understand correctly, you are trying to edit AVCHD with only one hard drive... not going to work
Video editing requires a minimum of TWO hard drives... boot drive for Windows and all software, separate PHYSICAL drive (not a partition) for data and temporary files... a 3rd drive for temp files is often used
With only one drive your computer is constantly trying to read software instructions at the same time as video data is flowing... not going to work

Photoshop Elements 12 keeps crashing

My Photoshop Elements 12 keeps crashing. I've tried rebooting, I've tried upgrading, I don't know what else to do and I have a HUGE job due tomorrow.

If I understand you correctly, did you mean that PSE 12 crashed and relaunched causing the loss of unsaved work you have done?
Try updating PSE12 to the latest patch and then check the performance.
You might also try check the performance in a new Admin user account.

Adobe elements 6 keeps crashing since upgrading iPhotos on Yosemite

Adobe elements keeps crashing every time I try to open a photo.
This seems to have started since I installed the Photos app on my Macbook Air.

Photos is not iPhoto and doesn't work at all the same way. You must export the photos from Photos, then open those copies in PSE. There is no external editor function in Photos at all.

I would like to know whether organiser or editor crashes ?
If its organiser then there is something related to Catalog.
Try these steps :
1. Goto this location : C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Elements Organizer\Catalogs\ -- (program data is hidden folder by default , you will need to unhide it)
2. Under this location you will find all the catalogs that were created by you
3. Choose your default catalog.
4. In that select and delete all the folders except Breezedata and file with extension .pse8db
5. Relauch your organiser and then check if its stil crashing.
