Elements 12 Organizer - Problem Katalog sichern - Wer kann helfen ?

Ich habe schon mehrfach einen neuen Katalog angelegt, immer das gleiche Problem:
Sobald ich den Neukatalog (10000 Medien) mit Personen-, Orts- und Ereignissdaten erfasst und zugeordnet habe, funktioniert die anschließende Sicherung nicht mehr.
Der Sicherungsvorgang friert regelmäßig im Arbeitsablauf bei "Gesamtgröße der Medien wird berechnet" unter der Fortschrittsstufe 77% ein.
Ich arbeite schon seit Jahren mit Elements, habe also versucht zu optimieren, reparieren bzw. indizieren Kein Erfolg. Auch Neuinstallation, anderes Windows Benutzerkonto
brachten keinen Erfolg. Im Moment bin ich ratlos. Ich hatte in einer früheren Version mal das gleiche Problem, damals konnte erst ein Update helfen. Ich habe den Support mit
meinem Problem kontaktiert, seit 3 Wochen ohne Erfolg. Kann mir jemand Tipps geben. Hat jemand das gleiche Problem?

Hallo Engelsdrache,
das erste und wichtigste was du kontrollieren solltest sind die Windows Updates.
Daher am besten einmal in die Systemsteuerung gehen und dort die Windows Update Funktion öffnen.
Dann nach Updates suchen und sofern welche gefunden wurden installieren. Das ganze wiederholst du dann solange bis du als Meldung bekommst, das dein System auf dem neuesten Stand ist.
Im Anschluss daran sollte es mit dem Upgrade auf Windows 10 auch klappen.

Elements Organizer Problem - Question Marks and Application Won't Quit Cleanly

I recently upgraded from Photoshop Elements/Premier Elements 11 to version 13 on a Mac. After the upgrade, my elements organizer is experiencing some issues.
1. When I click on a double click on a thumbnail, I am taken to screen that has a large question mark on it. (Not the photo) Elements organizer knows exactly where the file is on my hard drive though as I can edit it in photoshop elements. In addition, I can right click on the thumbnail and select show file Info -> Double click on Location. When I do this I am taken do the correct file in finder.
2. My other issue is that the program doesn't close properly. If I choose Quit from the menu bar, the program GUI closes, but it stays resident in my dock. I have to force close in order to open the organizer again.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Trying renaming your contacts.xml file. To access the file, you need to go - Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/adobe/elements organizer/organizer/settings I just named it "renamedfile.xml". A new contacts file will appear after you reopen the program.
I've had this problem a few times and renamed this file (after a support person from Adobe told me to the first time). It opens after I remaned it.
The contacts function of the organizer doesn't seem to be a stable. It always deletes entries that I want to add in.

Das Softwareupdate des nagelneuen iPhone 4 auf die 5.o Version klappte. Leider kann ich zwar Einstellungen in icloud unter "Einstellunge" ändern, aber ein "Button" oder ähnliches (wie auf der itunes-Seite abgebildet) hab ich nicht. Damit kann ich icloud momentan auch nicht nutzen. Wer kann mir einen Tip geben?

ich will mi meinem iPhon 4 die neuste Version herunterladen und seit Ewigkeiten geht nichts mehr. Obwohl Apple weiß das dass Laden nicht möglich ist, unternehmen sie nichts in Ihrer Hocharroganten Art. Obwohl ich iPhon verkaufen werde, möchte ich es dennoch auf den neuesten Stand bringen, wer kann mir sagen, was ich beachten muss und ehhrlich? Nie wieder Apple!!!!!

Was man bei Apple-software-Problemen immer ausprobieren sollte, befor man neu aufspielt (=was man bei Unix sowieso nur als ultima ratio machen sollte).. :
mal in user/Library/Preferences nach einer korrespondierenden plist schauen.. ich kenne das Prg nicht, aber ich vermute mal etwas in der Art 'com.vodafone.plist' oder ähnlich..
DIESE Datei in den Müll ziehen und das Prg neustarten bzw den den Rechner neustarten..
.. was aber alles nicht im Sinne des Erfinders ist => Vodafone nerven, schließlich zahlst Du Geld dafür ..

ADOBE PSE 12 Editor öffnet sich nicht, wer kann helfen?

Ich habe Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 für die 5. deinstalliert und neu installiert. Ich kann einfach nicht öffnen Sie den Editor. Wenn ich mich im Organizer ich versuche, um den Editor zu erreichen, es funktioniert einfach nicht. Das Paket hat jetzt einziges Paar Wochen und kann nicht arbeiten.

Photoshop Elements Organizer problems:

I have been using Elements 12 very successfully until today. When I opened the Organizer, I can only see the bottom half of the page. The Folders panel on the left of the screen and the Tags panel on the right of the screen are out of site and "off the screen" above the top of my monitor and I cannot get the page to come down from the top to view the rest of my Organizer library.
Can you help?

Hi, I have a very similar problem and am feeling quite frustrated that Adobe "help" is so technical. I was using Elements 12 quite successfully for many months and then last month it started freezing and crashing in the catalogs and then the editor. I have updated, uninstalled and reinstalled, etc. Now I get the editor to open but not the organizer. I see so many similar complaints posted in the Adobe forum. What gives? This used to be a great program and now it's useless. Are you all trying to force us to go to the cloud subscription? I'm an amateur photographer and don't need the full suite, Elements was always just enough... til now....
I'm using Windows 7 by the way, my system scans are all clean and all other programs are just fine.

Hallo,seit November haben wie dieses MacBook Pro,leider liegt hier noch kein DSL an, so dass wir über einen Vodafone-Stick ins Internet gehen. Haben zwei Problem,das erste: mußten schon 3 Mal gesamte Software neu installieren, bei diesem Stick muss man sich wie beim Handy wenn es ausgeschaltet war über einen PIN neu einloggen, dabei hängst sich das Programm (Vodafone)auf und wir kommen nicht mehr ins Internet. Das läßt sich nur durch Neuinstallation der gesamten Software des Mac lösen. Weder Apple, noch das Applehandbuch, noch Fachleute im Geschäft konnten uns helfen. Uns blieb nur das neu aufspielen.
Und nun unser 2. Problem: wenn wir im Internet sind, kann es sein, dass von einem Moment zum anderen nichts mehr funktioniert, die Maus bewegt sich zwar, aber es funktioniert nichts und ich kann nur noch per Affengriff den Mac neu starten. Woran liegt das, ist es eventuell ein Fehler von Apple??? Hatte auch schon mal jemand solche Probleme? Wie können wir das lösen, denn das nervt.

PS elements organizer problem

When I click on the PS 10 the organizer rectangle comes up, but, when I click it the blue screen freezes at the initializing model point and won't go to the list of albums. But, if I click on the Edit, instead, the blue screen goes to the full page with its fix tools. If I click on show items in the bin the whole list of usable albums comes up. I have run every fix and scan I can think of. Premier elements does the same, but, CS6 is fine. How do I fix it ?

The next thing I wanted to suggest is to reset the preferences of PSE but this won't work with Organizer.
the only thing I can suggest is to reinstall the PSE. Perhaps some files are corrupted. If you decide to do this, please deactivate the product by going to:
Help >> Deactivate.
Although, uninstalling the product can deactivate it but some people, me included, work in offline mode when doing something on the machine logged in as Administrator.
Good luck and post back if you manage to sort this out.
