Elements 12 pre-installed on new Sony Vaio Win8 not working. Error: 16, No disk to reinstall. Any ideas to make it work?

I have a Sony Vaio Fit 14 laptop that has Windows 8 and pre-installed Photoshop Elements 12.
The Photoshop elements 12 is giving me an error 16 and I can not get it to work.
I have no installation disk and really do not want to restore the laptop to factory out of the box.
Is there any other way to fix this issue?

Probably you could get some help from Sony. Possibly the install image is somewhere on your computer or they could give you a copy.

On trying to open month of March 2013 the pre-installed calendar just shuts down and closes. Sony Vaio Webcam Not Working in windows 7

I have a Sony Vaio Model (VGN-CR507E) and I have recently put on the Windows 7 Evaluation Copy, Build 7100.
Everything seems to be in good order except for the Webcam. When I try to run msn, skype or any other webcam related programs it says that the webcam is in use by another program.
When I go to my Device Manager It says that the USB Video Device is installed and fully updated.
If someone could give me a step by step guide on how to fix this problem it would be much appreciated.

First you might go to Device Manager, right click your hardware device in the list and select Update Driver Software; then click Search automatically for updated driver software.
Note: Drivers on the Windows Update site are directly provided by hardware manufacturers. Microsoft tests drivers in various environments before they are published; however, we cannot guarantee all drivers will work on all hardware platforms as there are too many different models, although their hardware ID are the same as the standard version. In some cases, due to hardware modifications by different manufacturers, the driver updates may cause some error.
If it does not work on your issue, I'd suggest you installing the Vista driver in Compatibility mode. Remove and rescan that hardware device in Device Manager, right-click on the driver executable/installer file -> Properties and select the Compatibility tab; click the checkbox before Run this program in Compatibility mode for option and select Windows Vista in the list-down box; then try installing the device driver via Run as administrator. In addition, you can use the Windows XP driver for testing.
Meanwhile, please understand that Windows 7 is a new operating system and whole driverstore has been reprogrammed; you might wait or push the device manufacturer to upgrade its driver. Thanks for your time and understanding!

I've just been upgraded to an iPhone5. When activating the new device everything was going smoothly, even the syncing in iTunes (I had previously edited a playlist to go in the new handset). A few things did not transfer as planned, such is messages and settings from the Whatsapp application, my video library and some other things that I had to recover manually.
The thing is that I'm finding it more difficult in Whatsapp's case. Although they are sending me codes for me to restore the app to it's formal being, or offering tricks on how to restore my messages from iCloud (which fell to comply in the first instance), I cannot get my messages and settings to display as they were. I found in their help page a link for people who wanted to transfer their massages from the old device to the new one. I went to click in the link that applied to iPhone devices and was redirected to Apple Support site. I hope you can help because I really like my new phone and it would hurt if I had to send it back.

I like to try that, yeah... Sounds interesting enough. Only... d'you mean doing it over iTunes, right? No way! I won't dare putting all the rubbish that was in my iPhone 4 and had to get rid of before syncing iPhone5. Well, just created a new playlist, really but all that junk may get back in... No.

What exactly is the problem that you are having ? Is it with downloading the iTunes program itself, or redownloading your purchases ?
If iTunes itself then you can download it from here : http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
If it doesn't download then have you tried a different browser, and/or tried changing the settings on the browser that you are using e.g. turn off 'pop-up blocker' ?
If you've installed iTunes and want to download your past purchases, then what you can redownload depends upon what country that you are in, and whether the items are still in your country's store. What you can redownload will show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage :
But ideally you'd have your own backup copy of all your downloads/library (and not relying on redownloading), a song/album etc could be removed from the store at any time.

Sony VAIO laptop not recognizing video ipod

I just got a new Sony VAIO laptop. I plugged in my ipod, and it recognized it as an ipod and everything. I went to go install it, and the stupid windows hardware installation wizard couldn't install it. I have tried numerous times and it still can't. Now when I plug my ipod in, neither My Computer nor itunes recognizes it. The latest ipod updater doesn't recognize it either. However, the ipod itself has either the "charging" or "charged" icon on it. It charges like normal when connected to the laptop. I have yet to see it say "do not disconnect" when I connect it to the laptop I am using USB to connect the ipod. After three days and countless hours that I will never get back, I finally figured out how to get the computer to recognize the ipod and work like it is supposed to. If you go to the device manager and it is showing up with a yellow question mark next to it, open it up and if it is giving you a code 28, try this.

Need to know your Mac model. If it's a PowerPC, the max OS is Leopard 10.5.x. If it's an Intel procesor, you can upgrade to Snow Leopard (for $29) & later to Lion.

What I am saying is ..........
The iPhone HAS to be active making calls on the UK carrier network for the carrier to identify as "theirs" and therefore eligible for the Carrier to unlock
The way to achieve this is to use a PAYG sim making and receiving calls to establish a customer relationship with the Carrier and then follow the Carrier's process to unlock
With a PAYG it usually means adding a specified (by the carrier ) amount usually £15 /£20 depending on the carrier

I just installed a new WRT54G2 v1. It worked fine when I installed it two days ago. However now it seems to be searching for ip address, and in a loop. I can correct it by stopping and restarting DHCP services, then repairing the wireless wireless connection. However, this is a real pain since there are two desktops and one laptop using it. Does anyone have suggestions. I have the wireless adapters set to obtain IP address and DNS automatically. Is this the problem? Should I assign static addresses to each? Just searching for a solution so I don't have to go through the repair each time the pc's start up. Appreciate any help. Thanks

I found at least part of my problem. On one desktop I found TCPIP V6, which, from what I have researched, is not needed - in fact, it causes problems on some networks. I unstalled it and the pc booted back up with active wireless Internet connection. I don't know if that was the only problem, but it at least temporarily solved that one.
