Photoshop Elements 13, bought from Amazon, has no serial number on the disk sleeve, insert, or on the box! Cannot complete installation. What to do to get serial number?

you did purchase your product from Amazon, from there you will not get a serial number, only a code with which you can request a serial number from Adobe. The following part, so I just see at least, ceased to exist on my Adobe website, everything takes place in the link from above. I leave it as an info yet, it might still fit for you. For this purpose, please click your way through to your Adobe Store and find the button "Get Serial Number". Fill in the form and after a while you will get the real serial number.

Check your Adobe account online. If you registered the software when you first installed it then the serial number might be available there.

I bought and have had photoshop elements 12 installed on my computer for several months; I've used it frequently. Now it's asking for a serial number. I still have the box and the installation disk but have no idea what the serial number is.

Adobe elements 11 Invalid serial number

When i go to my products on adobe and enter my serial number onto my adobe premier elements 11 it says invalid even if i copy and paste.

From what you wrote, it would appear that you have purchased download files from Adobe for Premiere Elements 11 and a serial number specific to that purchase. At that time, to what computer operating system did you download and install that purchased download and its serial number?
What are you dealing with...activation of a Premiere Elements 11 program that was deactivated and left installed on your computer? Or some other scenario? Please explain.
I would like to rule out that you are somehow trying to use a Premiere Elements 11 Windows serial number in a Premiere Elements 11 Mac setup or the other way around.
Typically Adobe does not support anything put the current version 12. But, it might might the exception for Activation issues, not sure in this case. To find out, click on the following link, and, when it opens, navigate to the section on "Serial Number and Redemption Codes". It looks like the paths to Adobe Chat have shifted, and I need to figure out what it has done. But, for now, I think the path indicated should bring answers.

I would first go to your Adobe Account and make sure that all info in it was correct and then match up all S/N's with your records. If you find any problems, then make corrections.
If all matches, but does not work, contact Adobe and see if they still sell replacement DVD's for CS2. Adobe usually does, for a small price. Still, you will need your correct S/N, so you will probably be back on the phone to Adobe. When I once used them for a S/N problem, they were quick and did a perfect job.

The serial number that you might have is an upgrade version & it will be asking for a previous qualifying version serial number.

Thanks, I tried it, but that did not work. Another Forum leader determined that I bought a WIN license and I have a MAC. Not sure how that happened. I have sent a message (hopefully given the absolute user unfriendly interface for any problems) to the Order folks. If they don't reply, i will cancel the credit card charge. That might get their attention. What a terrible company.

if there's a problem with the number of installations, you'll see a message about an excess activation problem.

You may be able to find your serial number a few clicks beyond Manage Account at http://www.adobe.com/ at least if you purchased from Adobe or registered your purchase with them.
As far as losing the disc, that is not a problem because LR updates are available for download, and you would want to get the most recent one for whichever version you purchased (i.e. LR 5.7.1 for LR 5) and then you can just enter your serial number:

On you other machine with Lr5 installed or Lr3 installed search for a file on you computer called "Lightroom 3.0 Registration" or "Lightroom 5.0 Registration". You may have to search for hidden/system files. These files contain your Serial Numbers in plain text.
Otherwise, if your order number is from Adobe you can log in with your account to see your purchased products or contact Adobe with that order number.
