Elements 13 Serial #?

Ok, so I just got Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 software, and the installation asks for the serial number, but the box does not have a "valid" serial number that I can find. I have gone to the help center with no success and I have gone through previous questions and still could not figure it out.... Any help? (please do not send me to the help center, it doesn't help) Thanks!

did you purchase your product from these firms like Amazon? If yes, this is not a serial number, only a code with which you can request a serial number from Adobe. Please have a look at http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html. (Start here: How did you purchase your product?)
The following part, so I just see at least, ceased to exist on my Adobe website, everything takes place in the link from above. I leave it as an info yet, it might still fit for you. For this purpose, please click your way through to your Adobe Store and find the button "Get Serial Number". Fill in the form and after a while you will get the real serial number.

I agree with bearcatnat in that i don't know what adobe expects us to do about serials on the forums, since were just users such as yourself and don't work for adobe.

When Elements 12 came out, I purchased it for two machines . I knew that was the limit.
Yet, i also needed the probram on my PC upstairs near my printer.
So, I downloaded the probram from the internet onto that machine. It cost $59, as I recall. But that may not be totally accurarte.
The problem. as state earlier, was that everytime I opened an image in Elements 12 upstair, it asked for an accurate serial number. I eventually located what I assumed was my serial number at my Adobe account. But it doesn't work.
Maybe this will clarify my question?
Again, I'm sorry. I think I reacted to you're assuming I didn't need so many copies of the program.

Adobe says photoshop elements serial is invalid

Bought adobe photoshop & premier element bundle from best buy and adobe says serial is invalid. Tried the retreiver and got another invalid from adobe. Took it back and exchanged for another and same thing happened. Really upset with adobe. The want to sell direct rather than through retailer. Nothing works.

This is not Adobe. Rather user to user. From your description of the issue, it would appear that Adobe is the only one who can resolve your issue.
Please confirm what version of Premiere Elements is involved and on what computer operating system is involved.
If you purchased Premiere Elements 13 from Adobe within 30 days of purchase, Adobe should be able to resolve this problem

I had my serial number for photoshop elements 8 de-activated a couple of months ago as I was uninstalling it and selling my mac. This was done over the phone with the support centre. I now need to re-activate it for my new mac. How do I do this?

you don't need to deactivate if you're installing on the same computer (as long as there were no major hardware changes).

Photoshop Elements Serial Number Deactivation Question

I bought Photoshop Elements 8.0 a few years back and have been using it happily and successfully since. However, I have now run into a serial number activation problem that will not allow me to use the software. The error given is: "Our records indicate that this serial number has already been used to set up and activate Photoshop Elements 8.0 on two other machines, which is the maximum allowed."
Of course, it is simple enough to deactivate a computer if that computer is accessible, but therein lies the problem. One of the two machines that is taking up my activations is my old Macbook, which experienced a total motherboard failure in March 2-13. I restored onto my new Macbook from a Time Machine backup, but when I did so, PSE required me to re-enter my serial number. This was easy enough, but it considers this new Macbook to be a third activation and thus will not allow me to use the software. And, of course, given that my previous Macbook is dead and gone, I cannot access my old Macbook to deactivate the software there.
What can I do to solve this?
Computer specifications: Macbook Pro, 15" (bought 2013). Mac OS X Version 10.8.5. 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7 processor with 8 GB of RAM. The software is Adobe Photoshop Elements 8.0

(all numbers, no letters)
Do not post your serial number
Look at your serial again and you might even use a magnifying glass just to verify

Update: Purchased on eBay from a bulk distributor. Seller claims 100's of sales and never had this happen.
The serial number on the Costco (new in the box) is 18 digits. The installer program requires 24 digits. Both the seller and I are stumped. Install failure happens on Win7 and Win XP desktops. Adobe support via chat and actual 800 number were useless. Seller investigating other activation scenarios. Standing by.
