Elements 13 will open ok once , I then have to restart computer to reopen it again.re without restarting.
Just installed elements 13 on a windows 7 64 bit machine that has all current updates installed.The program will open once and is usable, after closing the program and trying to reopen it it wont open. Starting task manager shows the program as still running , you cant end the program in task manager. If i restart the computer the program will open up again and function ok until i close it and it wont reopen without a restart of the computer.I have tried running it as administrator , no help.

Windows 7, firefox 1.6.16 just installed office 2010, sometimes cannot open a link in outlook and firefox is my default browser, and firefox will not initiate at all. I have had a similar problem with my system. I just recently (within a week of this post) built a brand new desktop. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Home and had a clean install, no problems. Using IE downloaded an anti-virus program, and then, because it was the latest version, downloaded and installed Firefox 4.0. As I began to search the internet for other programs to install after about maybe 10-15 minutes my computer crashes. Blank screen (yet monitor was still receiving a signal from computer) and completely frozen (couldn't even change the caps and num lock on keyboard). I thought I perhaps forgot to reboot after an update so I did a manual reboot and it started up fine.
When ever I got on the internet (still using firefox) it would crash after anywhere between 5-15 minutes. Since I've had good experience with FF in the past I thought it must be either the drivers or a hardware problem. So in-between crashes I updated all the drivers. Still had the same problem. Took the computer to a friend who knows more about computers than I do, made sure all the drivers were updated, same problem. We thought that it might be a hardware problem (bad video card, chipset, overheating issues, etc.), but after my friend played around with my computer for a day he found that when he didn't start FF at all it worked fine, even after watching a movie, or going through a playlist on Youtube.
At the time of this posting I'm going to try to uninstall FF 4.0 and download and install FF 3.6.16 which is currently on my laptop and works like a dream. Hopefully that will do the trick, because I love using FF and would hate to have to switch to another browser. Hopefully Mozilla will work out the kinks with FF 4 so I can continue to use it.
I apologize for the lengthy post. Any feedback would be appreciated, but is not necessary. I will try and post back after I try FF 3.16.6. -

From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit. -
I have upgraded my iMac to Yosemite but now my two Canon Printers no longer print from Photoshop CS6. I have upgraded the drivers. All other applications including Lightroom are fine. I am receiving an error message as follows:"There was an error opening your printer. Printing functions will not be available until you have selected a printer and reopened any documents." How can I get the OS to return a list of printers to Photoshop when Photoshop requests a list.
Have you printed to this printer from 10.10 before? If so, check your connections.

Printing from PS CC worked fine today. I made no changes to preferences. In between working with 2 projects, the first one printed fine, the second gave me this Error Message.
There was an error opening your printer. Printing functions will not be available until you have selected a printer and reopened any documents.
Now I've checked for updates for my printer, reset my printer, reset PS CC preferences, picked my printer as Default and Last Used, and rebooted. I've followed all the recommended fixes for this issue I could find here and on the internet. I can print fine from any other program. Alas, the error message keeps popping up and I can't print.

PROBLEM: Cannot print from Photoshop
After restart error message appears:

• All print commands are greyed out and unavailable — even to call up the printer commands cannot be done.
The printer printed fine until about 2 weeks ago when this error message appeared. Printing continues from Pages, I-photo, preview etc. — only Photoshop fails.
The printer has been turned on and off, as have open documents been closed and open etc.. Preferences reset. Repeatedly I have read through blogs and forums and attempted to contact Adobe — all without results
Epson support struggled to find reason and several solutions were tried and they assume this is an Adobe problem.
Running Mac Powerbook X 10.10.2 / Photoshop CS6 13.0.6.x64

I've never had this problem before. It only affects Photoshop CS6 and CS5 that I have installed. I'm running MAC OS 10.9.5
I have three printers and HP and two Epsons, and I get this dialogue when trying to print from Photoshop CS6 or CS5.
There was an error opening your printer. Printing functions will not be available until you have selected a printer and reopened any documents.
Other applications print fine on all three printers. I tried deleting the Photoshop Prefs numerous times without results.
Does anyone have an answer for this?

Using Photoshop CS6 and after printing approx. 10 cards on an Epson R3000 printer the program gives me a dialog box saying "There was an error opening your printer. Printing functions will not be available until you have selected a printer and reopened any documents." Even after closing and reopening the program, the print command is greyed out so I cannot select any printer. This also happens with a Brother laser printer. Both printers will produce a test page out side of the Adobe product. Help!
I cannot get any help either. I get the message "There was an error opening your printer. Printing functions will not be available until you have selected a printer and reopened any documents." I have reinstalled all drivers, powered off/on all printers (2 of them - a Brother HL - 4040cn and an Epson Stylus Pro 7890 - which all worked fine until this morning). There appears to be no path to a solution. I have read all the forums and tried about 20 different suggestions all to no avail. Reboots, changing cables, reinstalling printers and drivers and Photoshop CS6 - ALL TO NO AVAIL. On a macbook pro retina with 10.10.3. This issue is out there and some get solutions - but not all - that's my crowd...the not all crowd. I have yet to be able to print from CS6 any more. This is a show stopper and my patience is wearing thin. And I'm tired of stupid questions like "is your printer powered on?" give me a break. This appears to be an adobe photoshop cs6 problem - as I can print from every other application. Anyone have any ideas? Adobe should have something?... Adobe system info below:

Itunes will open on vista, but then is completely locked.
My daughter's vista laptop will open itunes, but then it is completely frozen. mouse clicking, keyboarding, and scrolling do not work. It also does not recognize her iPod. I have to close it with the task manager. It has worked previously and she has a small itunes library. I am completely at a loss of what to do. Any help out there?

i have made?Try a hard reset. To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
If that doesn't help, try downloading another App from the App store.

Scroll crashes then have to restart

Scrolling works fine then out of the blue stops .. only happens on firefox .. i can go to other browsers and its still working fine..

When I click down bookmarks, often the bookmarks tab will come down, but it'll be blank. Another problem is that when I right click on and image or right click on a web address, the box will come up blank. The program is freezing when I do this. I'll then have to shut Firefox down through my task manager and restart it. But usually within minutes the same problem occurs.
My keynote is on my iPad and I have also sent it to my gmail account. (Now I'm trying to figure how to get it from my gmail account to google docs/drive.) I'm pretty sure if I can get it into docs then there is an icon in edmodo that will upload files from google docs. Thank you for even considering helping with this---I am just learning this apple stuff.

How will having another icloud email benefit me. I have my work email which is all i require, but had to set up a @me account to get email on my Macbook.
I have a Mac computer that i upgraded to Mountain lion, a macbook pro and an iPhone 4s which has the latest software. all i want is simplicity and to have one email account which which will not duplicate everything 4 or 5 times.
My notes are duplicated, i have to delete my emails individually on all devices so whenever i put my phone on, all the emails i have deleted at work re-appear on my phone and again the same thing happens on my Macbook pro. I seem to spend all my time deleting emails 3 times.
Is there something simple in the set up of these that i am missing?
