Elements 6 screen color change

Is there a way to change the dark color of the program on my computer? The dark colors make it difficult to see the brushes menu as they are in black and other menu items?
Can the print be made larger also?
I could not find any controls to change the program's color or text size.

There is no way to change the colors of the PSE 6 user interface. This was such a bad design that Adobe fixed it in PSE 7. Some palliatives:
1. Adjust your display's brightness and contrast using a grey-scale chart such as this:

2. Calibrate the display using a device such as the Huey or Spyder, which is a good thing anyway to get accurate colors.
3. When you open the brushes pallette, click on the double right-arrow in the upper-right corner and select Stroke Thumbnail:

Screen color changing random - yoga 3 pro

hi guys
had a problem for a few days now, sometimes, out of nothing, the screen color turns yellowish....like a warm color....i right click in the home screen, personalize, display, calibrate color, the template for color calibration appears, i enter next...and voilá, it comes back to the cold white color....it just happened as i turn from tent mode to laptop mode to wright this thread
do you guys know any other way of disabeling this change? its getting on my nervs!
other than that I´m very app with the machine!

The Yoga 3 Pro has a "paper display" setting.It's meant to help you read stuff (reducing eye strain) giving the display a yellowish,book page like tint.
You can turn it on or off by pressing "Fn"+"Esc".

5800 XM Screen color change after the firmware upd...

I not sure if any other facing this problem also, but my Nokia 5800 XM screen color will change for a while from time to time then back to normal since after I have the firmware updated to v20.0.012.

Minor screen color changes when background in tota...

I just got myself lumia900 and i found that my lumia screen at the bottom corner left part have the color changes a bit instead of having full black color background... As if the screen is leaking..
Dont think its normal, but anyone has the same experience??

As the Lumia 900 has an AMOLED screen it does not use backlighting. If you do notice some bleeding from e.g. the backlighting for the Windows Phone buttons I suggest you contact your supplier or visit a Nokia Care Point for further assistance.

Screen Color change after Safe Boot

I did a safe boot in order to install software for new graphics card. The ATI ROM install called for the safe boot. When in safe mode, the screen color turned a blue-green. After restarting, the same blue-green screen (though not quite as dark) remains. I've powered off completely, unplugged, and restarted. Still, there is something wrong.
Additionally, I noticed that my Netscape Communicator would not open up and I couldn't find the application.
Can anyone help?

Photoshop Elements 8 - screen color

I just installed Photoshop Elements 8 on my PC (Windows XP) and found that white objects (like a sheet of paper) have a greenish hue. Essentially.. whites look green.
Have a missed something in installing Photoshop Elements 8?

I have this workflow mastered in Photoshop: When I work on an RGB image, I assign my monitor's color profile. Then when I save a GIF or JPEG, the resulting image looks identical in a web page as it did in Photoshop.
I can't figure out how to do the same thing in Final Cut Pro. The video looks like I want in Final Cut, but when I render to QuickTime and view in QuickTime Player, the colors are washed out and less saturated.
I could not find anything in the FCP manual having to do with ColorSync profiles. What am I missing?

What your seeing is a gamma shift in Quicktime. This especially happens when viewing h.264 videos on a Mac with Quicktime. Here read this:

I just started using x264 to encode my h.264 videos. As for now I've been happy with it's results. This x264 codec is (a lot) faster than encoding h.264 with Compressor or Quicktime. MyComet x264 encoder has been an in development for mmmm...4-5 years. So it's not a fly by night project. Updates come very fast....too.

Will Apple iPod Touch Screen Color Change? Will there be a white screen version soon? Since the apple iPod touch accessories are mostly white, it would be nice to have a white screen instead of a black screen to go with that; especially around the Christmas holidays. Many people are expecting to purchase them as presents for their families and friends. If apple was to change the screen color for the ipod touch 4G, it would get more people to purchase them just because of the color.

Nobody here would know for sure since this is just a user-to-user forum. Personally, I haven't heard of such, so as of now, probably not. Perhaps you can suggest this to Apple through this link.

If you mean just the background of the tab or image window, right click it and choose what you want. If you mean for the whole program, no can do, sorry.

Hate screen color in Elements 9!

I just upgraded from a much earlier version of Photoshop and cannot tell you how much I HATE the dark gray screen color with light gray font in Elements 9!! I've looked at the Preferences as well as all the other menu options and am unable to find any way to even change the screen to the lighter gray mentioned in another thread as an option in Elements 8. Is there some way to change the screen and font color?
I upgraded today and, in addition to hating the screen color, I am already sick of signing in every time I open the program or go to another screen -- what if I want to work offline (which IS what I prefer)? Is that even an option? Believe me, I am regretting having paid for this upgrade. I never had these kind of problems with the earlier version I was using. Grrrrr!

Thanks. I've now changed the welcome screen setting to have the editor come up behind it and then closed the welcome screen after opening the program. Looks like I now don't have to sign in when I open it. Since I can barely read anything on the screen unless the light is just right, I'm getting a headache from eyestrain, so thinking I had to sign in to use the program was just another frustration.... I appreciate your reply.

You cannot change the colors of the application frames within Photoshop Elements. Some parts of application frames can be changed by your OS display settings.

I'd take it into my local APple store and have them look at it. There may be something wrong inside your device.

Photoshop Elements 8 - is anyone having a problem with the screen color ?

I just installed Elements 8 & the screen color has 2 choices:
DARK (Black screen with Black & Grey text)
LIGHT (Dark Grey screen with Black text)
BOTH of these are VERY difficult to read & some text just dissapears into the background.
After speaking with the tech at Adobe, these are the only 2 choices (Dark & Light) I have.
Neither choice is worth the eye strain.
Is anyone else having the same problem ?
Has anyone found a solution ?

Thanks again. I use 125% on a 23" widescreen Acer monitor. The menus display on both the PSE7 and 9 Editor but not on the 7 or 9 Organizer. For both Organizers, I get a blank space where the menu should be - and at the right of that space, the tiny, double-arrow drop-down is nearly invisible. On 7, I slid the Edit/Preferences/General/Appearance/Brightness control to the far right in order to see the drop-down arrows. But even so, clicking the drop-down then scrolling down to select the desired menu is a nuisance. On Organizer 9, I have not been able to find any Brightness or other window-color adjustment in Preferences or in any menu option, so the drop-down arrow is extremely difficult to see. Even if the menus were visible, as with the Editors, the dark grays and blacks of the windows strain my eyes. PSE has some great features, and 9 is beter that 7, but I don't want to use a photo editing app that is visually difficult to navigate. Please let me know if there is a fix for the menu display or the window brightness/color.

Ipod touch wont completely turn on, Apple logo then change of screen colors.

Ipod touch 4th generation wont even turn on now. I was updating my ipod touch and then the battery died midway through the process. When i oringally started the update my battery was at 5% so i plugged it in to charge as told, but it still ended up dieing in the update process. Now, it wont turn on I just get the apple logo, and then the screen eventually changes colors. I was updating to the newest update that just came out.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Colors changes on screen

OK guys I have a question? I just started to notice that I every time I press the menu key or even the a green phone key there are waves of color on the screen. Its almost like putting your finger on a plasma screen and watching the colors change.
but it only wants to do it when on certain times, not all the time!
what can I do to prevent from a major problem?

sounds like it could be a display issue
try removing the battery with power on and then replace... wait for reboot
