Elements 8 licence

Hi
are licences still available for elements 8? we already have two and need two more
Thanks for any help
M

Hi, maggie mayhem. This is just the user to user forum, so you're not talking to adobe here. I don't think you can buy older versions from adobe, though. But you'd need to contact them to find out. It would probably be easiest to look for a legit secondhand copy of PSE, although those can be hard to find.

  • Photoshop Elements 8 Licencing Problem

    Photoshop Elements 8 (s/n 1057-1463-2368-0256-2492-2362) has only ever been installed on 2 machines; one was my current laptop Computer which suffered a HD crash, but no problem, I still had a third licence left unused. In late December the same HD failed completely and was replaced by an SSD, now reloaded with Photoshop Elements 8, but I have no licences left. The 2nd and 3rd licences were used up on the same laptop computer I am still using, but there had been no opportunity to deactivate them before the HD unexpectedly crashed.  What must I do, please?

    You need to contact support directly for activation/deactivation and other installation issues. It’s usually possible to start a live chat, if an Adobe agent is free, and often to get the problem fixed right away. You will need your serial number. NEVER PUBLISH THIS IN FORUMS TO AVOID THEFT - HOPEFULLY THE FORUM HOST WILL REMOVE THE S/N

  • Elements 10 Licence Problem

    I have been using Elements and Editor 10 fine since November 2011.  Now I can't open Elements 10.  Error message states Organiser is not currently licenced and directs me to open Editor to update the licencing information.  I do this and nothing happens.  I have this loaded on a single PC running Win 7 64 bit and it all registered OK at the time of install.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  If I deauthorise and reinstall will my catalog remain in tact?  I have about 40k tagged photos and don't want that information lost.  Thanks

    I suggest you contact Adobe tech support:
    http://www.adobe.com/support/photoshop-elements/supportinfo/index.html
    It's even possible to initiate an on-line chat session.
    Your catalog will remain intact if you uninstall and re-install.

  • I am building a new PC and need to swap the PS Elements 10 Licence from the old machine to the new - the old machine will be scrapped

    I am building a replacement PC, and want to install PS Elements 10 on the new machine. It is currently on the old machine and that machine will be scrapped once the new one is running - how do i go about this ?

    You are allowed to have the software installed and activated on two machines, but since you are scrapping the current one, you should deactivate the software on it if you are able to.... open the program and choose Help -> Deactivate.   If you are not able to access the machine to do this, then you should contact Adobe Support by chat or phone and have them do it.... Contact Customer Care
    All you need to do is install the software on the new machine (assuming it is compatible).  If you need to download PSE10 you can find it thru the following page...
    Download Photoshop Elements products | 11, 10
    You will need the serial number to activate the software.  If you do not have it at hand, you might be able to find it in your Adobe account online.
    To locate the serial number:

  • Photoshop Elements 10 Licence

    We have 2 Microsoft Terminal Servers which are set up in a load balance enviroment.
    I need to purchase PSE for 5 users, as the servers are load balanced there is no way to tell which TS they will connect to. With this in mind do i need to purchase 5 licences for PSE and install them twice or would i need to purchase 10 licences (5 for each TS)??
    Many thanks

    Best to contact Adobe sales and discuss AVL and possibly a silent install.

  • Elements 13 Licence

    I have a trial version of Elements 13 which I have bought and received the serial number. What do I do with this number? I cannot find anything in the prgram to ttell me hqw to us it.
    Henry

    On opening the Organiser the main working screen appears. There is no oportunity to enter any numbers.  If I open the editor screen I am told it is time expired. Again there is no way of entering a number. IS IT POSSIBLE TO ACTIVATE THE PROGRAMME WITHOUT THESE SCREENS. Neither of the responses from Barbara or Mytaxsite can be applied for the above reasons. I have now been trying for over 3 das and continuosly for 5 hours today including 2 Chat sessions. with no success, IS IT POSSIBLE TO LICENSE THIS SOFTWARE NOW?  Or do I get my money back and re-order it?

  • Elements 12 licence

    Can anyone confirm that I can install Elements on both my PC and laptop please?     I know if it's legal i can only use one at at a time.    Amazon say I can but Curry's say only one.

    Yes. Even Windows and Mac if you have the boxed version with both disks.

  • If I buy Photoshop element 13 online, do I get a once off licence with or must I renew the licence each year?

    If I buy Photoshop element 13 online, do I get a once off licence with or must I renew the licence each year?

    What 99jon said, and here's the official confirmation from Bob Gager, the head of the PSE team:
    Elements 13 Licence?

  • I've just bought and installed PS elements 13 on Windows 7 x64 and it crashes as soon as it's started (1st run)

    After what I thought was a legit copy of PS Elements 8 expired tonight after a month, I bought PS Elements 13 and installed it on a Windows 7 Pro x64 machine.
    It installed properly, and on first load, it opened the welcome screen, then both Organise and Edit options cause an immediate crash, and everytime since.
    Multiple restarts with no difference.
    Elements 8 removed, no difference.
    Elements 13 removed and reinstalled with no difference.
    How can I find out what's wrong and get this fixed ASAP?
    That, or somehow purchase a PS Elements 8 licence??

    You may have a configuration problem in your network (IP conflict). Are you using DHCP?
    There is also the possibility of some problem with the HP App.
    You should try posting this problem on the HP printer forums. Try here: ePrint, Print Apps, Mobile Printing, and ePrintCenter

  • I have Photoshop elements 8

    I have Photoshop elements 8 on a pc and thinking on purchasing a mac and would need this on a mac for photography. How much would it cost to upgrade to elements 10 for the mac.
    Also how much would it cost to have my elements 8 licence extended for mac use.

    I am not sure which region/country you are in Mustang1957 but I would recommend looking at http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-elements.html.  The upgrade pricing is listed there.  If you are in a different region from North America then you can adjust your region at the bottom of the page.

  • Recommended steps to generate a web service using nested complex types

    Hello,
    I need to generate a web service that uses nested complex types with built in types on the bottom layer. I hve posted an attempt at a WSDL. Please give advice on if I am doing it correctly.
    I have the suspicion that I should nest the complex types into the final complex type VendorStockingInterface. Please confirm.

    I'd like the the consumer of the web service to send it a document with the fields formatted to the VendorInterface complextype which contains the other complextypes. In return the consumer will get another document with some acknowledgement messages.
    To make this happen I'd like to generate the web service, creating the complex type classes and XMLBeans. I'd like advice on the steps to take once I get a good WSDL.
    There is also the option to go from the other direction. Is it better to attempt to create a schema XSD document instead and use that to work towards the web service and WSDL? If so, could someone give an example of how to format an XSD using my example needs.

    I think I have got it all in place, though I have not tested it as of yet. For others who are looking at this, here is my XSD file from which all my complextypes were generated and lastly here is the actual web service file.

    If you can login on Adobe.com then clearly you are logged in  on Adobe platform.  If you want to login to use these forums then click this link and login in the usual way using Firefox browser:
    <https://forums.adobe.com/welcome>
    The sign in button is on the top right corner next to the search button.
    Is this what you are asking?  If not please clarify again.

  • Problems validating schemas with cyclical references

    I'm attempting to get two schemas to validate whereby each references a complextype from the other: both have different namespaces so I reference the other from each using '<import>'. This is no doubt a very dumb question but, what should I use as the 'schemalocation' attribute in the 'import' instructions? I have tried all variations I can think of including:
    - the relevent xsi:schemaLocation value from the schema being imported
    - the virtual path within the XMLDB directory structure e.g. /sys/schemas/PUBLIC/www.sepa.org/2007/XMLSchemas
    - the same as above with the DB port included
    I'm getting the following error which is very frustrating: LPX-00234: namespace prefix "loc" not declared. I certainly have declared it in both schemas, for some reason XMLDB isn't finding the schemalocations. Anyone know what I should be putting here?

    Mark
    the schemas were registered in the following way:
    BEGIN
    DBMS_XMLSchema.registerSchema(
    schemaurl=>'http://www.sepa.org/2007/XMLSchemas/Locations.xsd',
    schemadoc=>sys.UriFactory.getUri('/home/jsmyth/XSD/Locations.xsd')
    ,FORCE=>true
    ,LOCAL=>false);
    END;
    'Locations' is one schema, 'Licenses' is the other.
