Elements 9 to Elements 11

How do I move projects created in Elements 9 to a new PC running Elements 11?

You won't be able to open version 9 projects in version 11. Not without some buggy behavior.
But, if you finish your project in version 9, you can output the finished video and use it in a version 11 project.
How you do that depends on whether you're working in standard definition, widescreen or high-def.

Hi,
I am consuming the standard enterprise service "Find Business Partner Elements by Elements" with technical name "BusinessPartnerCRMElementsByElementsQueryResponse_In" in Webdynpro CE 7.1 . The service provider is CRM 7.0.
The response from the enterprise service contains a structure called categorycode as ,

This seems to throw an error in when we execute the application . The error we receive is

Indexing array of references element by element

Hello,
I have a simple question. How do I go about indexing an array of references element by element? For example, when using a cluster reference, there is a property node called "controls [ ]" that we can pass into a for loop. For a normal array, "enable indexing" is usually automatically turned on when entering a for loop. Why is it that for an array of references, this is not the case? Thanks for the help.

Since the Get Image is a method, it has to work on something, and that would be a picture control or indicator. (If you look at the Get Image Method for the array, you'll notice it only returns an image of the front panel object, so I think you'd just get a picture of the array as it looks on the FP).
So you'd send the picture to an indicator, then use the Get image method on that indicator immediately afterwards. See attached. I didn't try this out so I can't be sure it would work, but I think it would. But it would still be a major hack compared to just using the Picture to Pixmap VI.

I downloaded and installed Photoshop Elements & Premiere Elements. I then launched Photoshop Elements Organizer and imported approx. 28,000 photos (including some videos). A window opened indicating that many of the photos had tags, and asking if I wanted to add the tags. I said yes, and the process began. When it reached 60% a window opened indicating that "Elements 13 Organizer has stopped working", with the only option being to "Close program."
I've since tried to open organizer several times, but it goes immediately to "Elements 13 Organizer has stopped working". I was able to open Editor, and tried opening Organizer from Editor, but encountered the same problem.
FYI, I have an open case (#0214505556), but have not received the help I need.

This issue is with respect to Elements 13.

Hardware for Photoshop Elements/Premiere Elements 9

I'm buying a PC for my 9th grade child, who will be making short movies (5-10 minutes) and burning to DVD for school projects. I will be purchasing the Photoshop Elements/Premiere Elements 9 bundle. The PC will also be used for writing papers, reports, etc., but I suspect that the PSE9/PE9 will be the software that drives the PC to its knees. We'd be using a DV camcorder with a 1394 cable for video capture, or a HD camcorder with SD cards.
The household is a PC/Windows sort of household. I can get a discount buying HP stuff, and the budget is somewhat limited. I'd appreciate comments on my thoughts/options below, especially for the video cards (I assume that those will affect performance the most?)
All the HP configurations within my budget include:
1600x900 monitor (I'm thinking of upgrading to 1920x1020)
DVD multiburner (I'm not upgrading to Blu-Ray)
Windows 7 Home
Intel i5-650 dual core (possible upgrade to i7-750 quad core)
6GB RAM
Video card choices: 1GB nvidia Geforce 315, or 1GB ATI Radeon HD5450 (lower end slimline HP box)
2GB nvidia Geforce GT420, or 2GB ATI Radeon HD5570 (higher end HP minitower)
1 hard disk only (3GB/s 750 GB or 1 TB drive)
I was testing the trial version of Premiere Elements 9 on my laptop at home, which runs Vista-32, 3GB RAM, and has nvidia 9600m GT graphics. I found that the performance was acceptable (although I didn't exercise the software very hard), until burning to DVD, at which point I went to have dinner while the laptop was burning the project (and didn't finish burning until after dinner & dessert!).

Since Elements is 32bit there is no advantage to having more than 6 Gig of ram
Since Elements does NOT do hardware video acceleration using the video card, the less expensive ATI card is OK
Since Elements does NOT use dual video cards for anything, you only need one ATI card
For HD video you absolutely need the i7-750 quad core

You are a music conductor, with a baton that you use to point to various parts of the orchestra... this is like Windows pointing to various parts of the hard drive to do Windows housekeeping or to load program segments for various functions
Now, at the same time and with the same hand... while still using the baton to conduct the orchestra... pick up a bow and play a fiddle... this would be doing something with your video file at the same time as all the other work
You as a person cannot do both at the same time with the same hand
A computer is a LITTLE better, in that it can switch from one kind of task to another very quickly... but not quickly enough for easy video editing
One hard drive is not as good as two which is not as good as three

Any word when Adobe Photoshop Elements & Premiere Elements 9 will be released and what will be new and improved. I have 7 and was wondering if I should purchase 8 now or wait for 9?

As always, well-done! From my observations, your predictions have been so very close as to be considered 100%. If you missed something, well I missed that too in the released version. I also allow rounding of a day, or two, so would never consider a Sept. 24th release to be different than a Sept 22nd release - anywhere in that time frame counts as being perfect in my book.

Photoshop Elements/Premiere Elements 13 Bundle won't install

I just purchased a Elements/Premiere Elements 13 bundle. They system requirements listed requirements for both Windows and Mac. I am trying to install it to my Mac OS X operating system. It downloaded fine, but when I tried to install I got an error message that said "this can't be installed because Windows applications are not supported by Mac OS X operating systems."
Is there anything I can do to make it work?

Download the Mac versions of the software and install those. If you do not have links provided for them, you can download the trial versions and use your serial number to activate them to full use...
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

If you originally purchased a download you can download the free trial for windows using the link below. Your serial number will still be valid on both platforms for PSE12. Older versions were platform specific as mentioned by Barbara.

No. The license permits you to install two copies i.e. on a desktop plus a laptop for your own personal use but not to run both copies simultaneously.

Deleteing element by element in 2D array

Is there away to delete element by element in 2D array without changing the dimensions to 1D array. I want to select the first 20 element reading across the rows. For example, If I have 2D array with 6 element in each raw. I want to select the first three rows and 2 elements from the four raw.

Maybe I completely misunderstand what the OP tried to say / do, but you can accomplish it without using clusters. Comments from others are correct, you cannot resize the 2D array by deleting elements within a given row.. However, maybe you want to achieve what is described below.
Do keep in mind that if you attempt this with a numeric array, you may want to use 0 or 'NaN' as your deleted value.
See code below which should be self-explanatory. There are probably better improvements of the example, but the purpose was simply to show how it can be done.
Array 1 shows the original 2D array and it's values.
Array 2 shows how you can "delete" or replace its element with a "deleted" value.
Array 3 shows how you can "delete" multiple elements (replace multiple elements with a "deleted" value).

Just so you'll know, there is no Java on that page. There is, however JavaScript. You should know that those two things are different as night and day.

Element-by-element multiplication of a vector with matrix rows

I want to element-by-element multiply a Vector with the rows of a Matrix ,in the most efficient way. Anybody knows if there is a sub vi for this in LW7.0 ?
(The Inputs are a Matrix; and a Vector with the same size as Matrix's # of columns ; the output is a Matrix with the same dimension as input Matrix. Every row of the output Matrix is the product of element-by-element multiplication of input vector with the correspondind input Matrix's row )

(Yes, the 2D linear evaluation is basically the same as the 1D evaluation except for the dimension if the array. NI could merge them into one and make the array input polymorphic with respect to size. )
I "think" you want a plain multiply (not a polynomial evaluation). You can do it (A) one row at a time or (B) one column at a time, but A might possibly be slightly more efficient.
