Elements 9 update issue. RAW

I formatted my drive and reloaded Elements 9. Working fine. But even when new you had to update to receive 'RAW'
All I get is 'error'.  I have try old products recovery typing in my serial No. FAILED again.

  • Update camera raw in elements 10

    Hi,
    "This serial number is not for a qualifying product..." when installing an upgrade or upsell, cs6.....
    I keep getting this error message when im trying to download the 6.7 upgrade for camera raw.  The download just stops when it is about to install. At no point do I enter a serial number.

    Do you really mean this error happens during download, or does the download complete and the error arise during installation? Where are you downloading ACR 6.7 from?

  • Elements 11 camera raw 7.4 update not available

    I have tried the Help>Update menu option many times on many day but the server appears to be permanently unavailable. I have tried a manual download and have run that download but the plugin still displays 7.1.0.  This is really so frustrating and I am unable to load raw files from my Panasonic G6.

    I just tried Help / Updates on my PSE11 and it worked ok, so there may be something blocking it on your computer, like a firewall or other internet security.
    It launches the Adobe Application Manager which I think you can launch independent of PSE11.

    Having problems Updating camera raw in elements 12, i get to 3.3% complete and get the following message (Please close the following applications to continue. Photoshop elements 12 editor-PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe), i have closed down Elements 12 but still get the error message

    OK I think the problem is probably related to the platform swap and you may need your account re-set. Only Adobe staff can do that.  You need to contact Adobe directly using the link below. Use the dropdown menu for boxes (1) & (2) to scroll down the list and choose:
    1. Adobe Photoshop Elements
    2. Adobe ID, and signing-in
    3. Click on the blue button: Still need help? Contact us – then click the area marked chat 24/7, then click “start chat ”
    It’s usually possible to start a live chat, if an Adobe agent is free, and often to get the problem fixed right away. Have your serial number and previous case number available. The agent can directly troubleshoot your system if you agree to activate the Adobe Connect add-on.

    I see that Photoshop is updated camera raw (to 8), but  is camera raw 7.4 elements 11. I bought a new camera and I do not recognize the raw, however comes in the list of camera raw 8. Do I have a problem in my program to update?

    Try a manual update to ACR 8.1 like this:
    Download the Plug-in zip file from here:
    http://swupdl.adobe.com/updates/oobe/aam20/win/PhotoshopCameraRaw7-7.0/8.1.79/setup.zip
    When you have it explore it and go here:
    ...setup.zip\payloads\AdobeCameraRaw7.0All-290513174249\Assets1_1.zip
    Then extract the 1003 file, rename it and put it where the other .8bi file is, which you renamed to *.old. (C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\Elements 11\File Formats)
    This should also work with version 8.2, which is here:

    What camera model do you have?  What version of Elements are you using (Help / About Photoshop Elements) and what version of Camera Raw are you using in Elements, now (Help / About Plug-in / Camera Raw)?
    These questions are relevant because each camera model must be supported individually and Adobe only adds support to currently available products.

    You can either upgrade to Lightroom 5.4 or later, or use the free Adobe DNG Converter version 8.6 to convert your RAW photos to DNG, which then will import into Lightroom 4.

  • Samsung RAW   Last Update = issue?

    I just ran the update on my mac(it updated camera raw and other stuff), but since the reboot I am unable to see my .SRW files(Samsung RAW from a Samsung NX100)  anymore in aperture, when I click on those who are there, it's visible for a second, then goes black with "Unsupported Image Format" on it.
    EXIF data are fine, except for "Pixel Size" showing a very different value then "Master pixel size", even on newly imported files(900x600 vs 4592x3056).
    Preview and thumbnails in finder don't work either.
    If I switch to JPEG it shows.
    My Canon's RAW files are fine.
    Any hint how to solve this?

    I don't see the Samsung NX100 as supported on the Apple RAW support page.

    Do you have a Norton firewall or other third party firewall ?
    I do not know if this maybe an issue related to your problem
    with Photoshop Element 2.
    Third party software work arounds
    Go here for support as well, so they can keep you updated.
    causing my computer to crash and I have to Force Quit.
    Would you find your crash report (Crash reporter in console) and paste it here, then perhaps someone could read it, though i can not as of yet,
    Include the "Binary Images Description" after the columned
    "PPC Thread State:"
    I would send them a crash report, for support w/ them.

    I have not had any success searching for this issue under support, and cannot figure out how to contact Product Support.   When Adobe periodically checks for updates, it always brings this update up - so Adobe thinks I need it.  ...    But I am able to use the Photoshop - it just occassionally "hangs" and I need to reboot my computer to resolve the Photoshop issue (other applications continue to work).    I did use the "repair" installation options, but that did not resolve the update issue.
    Has anyone else seen this problem, or have any suggestions?    My operating system is Windows Vista 64-bit.

    A couple things to try first:
    With all applications closed, find the downloaded update file.  It's probably in a subdirectory of
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe\AdobePatchFiles
    (Or you can download the patch manually from the support link below.)
    Right-click on the patch file and select "Properties".
    At the bottom of the "General" tab, if you see a security message about the file being from another computer, click on the "Unblock" button.
    Close the dialog by clicking "OK".
    Log off your computer and log back on as an Administrator.
    Start PSE9 and apply the patch.
    If that doesn't work, Adobe support options can be accessed from this page:

  • How long til elements 7 Camera RAW 5.4 for Canon 500D????

    I have recently upgraded from Canon 400D to 500D. I was merrily editing away with the 400D but since the 500D, I haven't been able to convert the RAW files at all. Research on this site shows that there is a trial 5.4 for the 500D but for CS4 only!! I have emailed Adobe for an update but don't hold out much hope. Has anyone heard a release date for Elements 7 camera RAW?? I know I've got the DPP software but I've never used it and from what I've tried to suss out today - it's pants compared to Elements hence paying £70 for the pleasure and now it doesn't work!! But I'm not bitter.......;o)
