Elements 9 won't activate on a secong computer

I have already submitted this do I have to do it again???????. My copy of elements 9 won't activate on my laptop. it says it is already registered on 2 comp[uters. it isn't it is only registered on one. Please fix this issue.

    Actually I found the problem after searching through the forum list - it was the solution to reset the organizer's online-services state.
    Right, that was the step 7 I referred to.
    Is there a known problem with this feature?  I definitely am leery of ordering prints through the organizer field again.
    Yes, it's been a known problem in the Organizer since at least PSE 6 (2007), with an Adobe tech note describing the problem and the workaround:

    Like most bugs in the Organizer, Adobe has explicitly chosen not to fix it.
    The problem appears to occur when an upload to a service is interrupted or fails.  The workaround, deleting those files, seems pretty reliable.

    Unfortunately, only adobe can help you with that, as most people here are just posters such as your self and don't work for adobe.
    If you go here and use the Chat now button (bottom of page), they should get you up and running by resetting your activations.

    You should probably just download the trial version of pse 12 and see if you can live with it.
    Download a free trial or buy Adobe products | Adobe downloads
    That being said, have you tried to install pse 1 on your computer?
    How much free space is on your hard drive?
    Do you have Internet Explorer 10 or 11?
    Pse 1 can run on windows 7 x64, provided certain conditions are met.

    Nancy Olivier are you trying to install Creative Suite 6 on a computer which already has Creative Cloud installed?  If so then please see Install and update apps - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html for information on how to install previous version of Adobe Creative titles through your membership.

  • Can no longer open two Firefox tabs, have close using Task Bar/Processes. Some links won't activate on websites. As per support suggestion,have backed up profile, deleted existing profile, removed firefox and replaced thingsetc

    Can no longer open two Firefox tabs at the same time. Will disappear from screen but won't close - have to go to Task Bar/ Processes to close it, some links won't activate on websites. As suggested in the support area I have gone through the process of backing up my profile, deleted existing profile, removed firefox from computer, reinstalled profile in fresh folder, reinstalled firefox 6. I have done this twice for no effect - may work as it used to for a while (30mins) then gets back to its old tricks.
    It is a bit irritating.

  • Muse CC won't Activate

    I have been haveing an issue with activating Abobe Muse CC.  It will not activate.  I have a Creative Cloud subscription that is up to date.  Other apps activate and open with no problem including
    Dreamweaver CC
    Photoshop CC
    Code Preview CC
    Illustraotr CC
    InDesign CC
    Edge Animate CC
    The error message I get is Maximun Activations exceeded.  I have clicked on Lisence this Software and entered the login and password.  I get a messgae that I don ot have an internet connection.  But in fact I do have internet connectivity as I am using the computer I a having the problem on to write this message.  I have also clicked on Continue to deactivate my other devices and I get the same message that I have no internet connection.
    I have signed out of CC on both my computers.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled.  The Creavitve Cloud App says that Muse is up to date when installed .  When uninstalled CC app lets me download and reinstall it. 
    I have contacted Adobe Chat and they told me to call tech support.  Tech Support was unable to help me and reffered me back to chat and the forums.  So here I am.

    It's a 64 bit and this is the message I keep getting when I try to install:

    The Adobe folder on my computer has downloads for both 32 bit and 64 bit,
    both of which I tried...any suggestions?

      It‘s been part of recent versions, perhaps from PSE8 onward; I‘m not exactly sure. The software activates automatically upon installation. If you ever change computers and already have two activations simply open the Editor on the old machine and on the top menu click help à deactivate

    Try making a direct desktop icon for the Editor and see if you can launch the program directly from the desktop.
    Right click anywhere on the desktop and select New à Shortcut
    Browse to Computer OS C:
    And find the PSE Editor application in Program Files or Program Files (x86) on Windows 7 - 64 bit.
    C: à Program Files à Adobe à Photoshop Elements 9
    Within the Photoshop elements 9 folder find PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe (with the blue icon)
    Select that file and click Next.
    Then click Finish.
    You should now be able to launch by double clicking on the new desktop icon, bypassing the welcome screen.

    Add On...I have an Adobe Chat link for program activation, but I am not sure how that applies if at all to feature activation. We will pursue that next if the above does not work. It should.

    Activation issues are almost always the result of a device that has been hacked or jailbroken.
    If that is the case, no support can be provided here.

  • Startup but mouse won't activate

    Not sure if this is the right place but will give it a try... I have a MacBook Pro. I have been using Snow Leopard. For some reason when I now try to startup the initial screen comes on for me to log on the computer - the initial log on screen with the Mac OS X logo. Although the touchpad moves the mouse around it won't activate when I click. The computer won't open to let me log on. I tried a safe startup but had the same problem when the gray screen came up. The mouse moves but doesn't activate when I click on it. Last time I powered down the mouse seemed to have "locked on" to a wndow and I couldn't get off that "lock in." Thanks!!!

    I tried to reset the PRAM but that didn't do anything. When resetting the PRAM I held the appropriate keys and waited for the two sounds and after that let go of the keys. The gray screen appeared with the Apple and the spinning disk and then the blue screen came on as usual. Once again though when I tried to Log on the mouse click did not activate. It seems as though last time I was on the puter I somehow "locked" it. Any further thoughts before I trek to the Geniuses?
