Elements don't appear after running Retropay

Hi friends,
I have an issue regarding the Retro pay( in 11.5.9). When i run the retro pay the element entries are not getting created in the current payroll period.
Here are the steps i did
1> Created a new non-recurring element "Spl Allowance Retro"
2> Created the input values Start Date, End Date, Pay Value and checked the indirect result, multiple entries
3> Created the element link for this element "Spl Allowance Retro"
4> Now added this element "Spl Allowance Retro" to the original element("Spl Allowance") in the Recalculation tab.
5> Created a Retro element set. Added the original element ("Spl Allowance") to that element set.
6> Created a new elment entry with the original element in the previous month (in march) for employee 9999.
7> Ran the retro pay with the assignment set(this assignment set contains the employee for whom the element entry is created in step 6,9999), element set(created in step 5), start date 01-mar-2010, end-date 30-apr-2010.
8> checked the entries for the employee in april. this does not appear.
I assume when we run the retro pay the element entries should be created in the april month for the ones which are not processed in march. Please note a new element entry is created in march and not updated.
can you please tell me if i am missing any step here.

The Retro element should not have "Indirect result" flag checked. If an element is marked as Indirect result, element entry can not be created using that element. When Retropay is run, the process creates Element entries using the Retro elements. Since the retro element is marked as Indirect result, Retro entries were not created.

This is a wierdness I can't explain.
When I test the movie from the fla I see all the elements
(the red bars at top and bottom) but when I publish it, if I open
just the swf file the red bars are missing.
If I open it through the html page, the red bars are there.
Whussp?

This is something that is happening with other swfs, and on
other machines (all running Flash 8)
It's a concern bcause we often nest swfs, and if they don't
display properly there's gonna be trouble...

Premiere Elements 12 trial closes after run.

I have a problem with my just-downloaded Adobe Premiere Elements 12 30 days trial. After normal running it, on an administrator account, Premiere Elepents pops-up an message, that I must run it from an admin account and closes. For addiction, when I press "Run as an Administrator", ther's no message, but it closes itself too, such as running without "Run as administrator". I use HP Pavilion g6-2330ew Notebook PC 64bit Windows 8 I5 2.6 GHz 16GB RAM. Graphic cards:
AMD Radeon HD 7600M Series (Additional)
Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 (Default)
Both cards have actual drivers.
Do you have an idea what should I do to fix it?

Input variable is not appearing after running layout

Hi experts,
I have 1 application in BPS which accepts 3 values, one of the values is Fiscal month, when I run layout
from UPSPL. Once data is entered in that layout next time it doesn't ask or show input variables and that's
why I am unable to enter data for next fiscal month. I changed the mode of transactional cube to loading &
back to planning but still on running the layout no input variable is coming!!
What can be the reason?

I got a solution, plz use OTHER COMBINATION button from the layout.

In addition to the icon mentioned above (hide/show variable values), I have seen it where the lower pane of the layout window has been 'lifted' to cover the variable value display.
If you hover the cursor on the line just above the layout buttons, you will see it change to a double arrow, and the top of the pane can be moved up and down. I don't recommend users exploiting this feature unless they are going to remember they have adjusted it.

App updates don't disappear after running in OS7

App updates appear in App Store. I push 'update' and they update. But then the icon sits in the app updates section of my account. They won't go away. This has only started to happen after I updated to OS 7. Bug?

IPhoto '08 photos don't appear after sync

When I sync my iPhoto '08 library to my iPod, the photos appear blank-how can I fix this?

All the caption are there and I have the ability to edit the captions and tag people but the actual image isn't there.
This suggests that the Photos are there but not showing for some reason. Have you tired looking with a different Web Browser?

Plugins don't appear in after effects, I followed all the instructions?

I am using Adobe After Effects CS5.5, and I recently tried to install some Video Copilot plugins. I followed the installation instructions and copied them to the plugins folder, but the plugins do not appear in the drop down menu.
Here are some pictures:
Does anyone know why this might be happening? I restarted after effects after copying the plugins to the plugins folder, and they still don't appear.
I am running Adobe After Effects CS5.5 on Windows 7 64-bit.

Another thought, because you have Boris CC7 installed, which takes up so much space in the effects menu, is that AE can only display a finite number of folders in the Effects menu. Once that limit is reached it will stick all the remaining effects in a folder at the very bottom of the list (called additional effects, or something like that...?)
Try looking in the Effects & Presets pallet instead:

Thanks so much Woodsroad. I had the exact same problem with my Dell Windows 7 64 bit with AMD Radeon 6700 Video card.
All the video tests passed with flying colors.
The sniffer rename trick fixed the problem.

Are you seeing this problem since first launch of PSE13 after installation or recently?
Please try:
Keep Ctrl + Alt + Shift keys pressed while launching PSE13 Editor and click OK on the dialog that comes next.

After updating to itunes 10.7 iphone and ipad don't appear

After updating to itunes 10.7 my iphone and my ipad don't appear in itunes and because of this I could not update to ios 6.
Also after installing itunes 10.7 I got 2 errors:

There is a bug in this new version of itunes for mac os x
I am using OS X version 10.8.2 with all the latest updates.

I downgrade to itunes 10.6.3 and the error still appears.
I have to download this utility http://www.macroplant.com/iexplorer/download-ie3-mac.php
And I deleted this file:
/private/var/mobile/Media/iTunes_Control/iTunes/iTunesCDB
That fix the problem.
Now my iphone is working without issues on latest version of itunes 10.7

HT1386 I cannot get apps I purchased now sitting on my pc onto my iphone. They were there before I upgraded to 6.0.1. I backed them up on my pc and I can see the apps are all there. But after syncing they still don't appear on my phone.

You may have to try deleting all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipping All Music and tapping Delete), then sync it all back on with iTunes in order to fix this.

ANSWER: We did a LIVE payroll run for a period of 3 months.

ANSWER: Yes, we used the t-code pc_payresults but still it doesn't show the CRT results.
QUESTION: Did you check Processing Class 30 and 70 for your WTs ?
ANSWER: As per the process, we copied the SAP standard (model) Wage Type M010 to
our customized Wage Type, hence, hope that it wouldn't disturb any of the standard SAP settings.
However, we did check the Processing Class 30, but did not check the processing class 70.
Shall update you once PC 70 is also checked.
Please educate, if there are any particular specifications that need to be entered while checking

Are you sure that you have the Mac version, as there is a Windows version, as well as a few game console versions.
Sounds as though that may be a Windows or other version.

Inapropriate apps appear after updates are done

I need help! I was looking through my son's (11) iPod touch recently and there were apps on there that were not purchased. My kids don't know the iTunes password, so all purchases have to be approved by me or my husband. These apps seemed to appear after an update was done. They are NOT appropriate for an 11 year old. I can't simply delete them because when you press and hold the icon, no 'X' appears for these apps. I'm very concerned that some apps in iTunes are not legit because this doesn't seem right. Can anyone help me remove them???

- The App and iTunes store is ste up so that there is a ten minute window to download something after the passwared for an update or purchse has been made. From your dscription, it appeared that that happened.
- It also appears that you have restrictions set that prohibit deleting apps. Go to Setings>General>Restrictions. You have to enter the passcode to change them.
- Look at the apps on the iPod. if there is one named Cycia, it means that the iPod had been jailbroken and that apps can be installed by means other than the App store.
