Elements10 with windows 7 Organizer frozen after a month

This is my more detailed report on this problem. I am using Elements 10 and Premier Elements too. My computer is 2 months old runs on Windows7 Home Edition. The computer has 8GB of ram. I think that is correct. It was a more expencive computer with plenty of power. For about a month Organizer worked just fine. Now it freezes up and to get out of the program I have to use Alt Control Delete. I have disabled media analizer as much as I can.
Analyze photos for people
Analyse Media for visual search automatically
Analyse on start up all disabled
I disabled All filters but it comes back on. I cannot scroll down on the thumbnails.Cannot use the tool bar on the top of the screen.
I am stumped. It is pretty sad when such a dominant company puts out programs with so many glitches and poor customer service. What should I do??

The screen resolution is 1600x900 which is the recommended resolution. I have a 17 inch screen on my laptop. Yes I loaded a bunch of photos and video. The photos were loaded through Elements and the video through Premier Elements. The videos are in hi def too. not quite sure something like 1080x 800 or 900. The only new thing installed on the computer is a 3G Dongle which is a 3G wireless modem. It is my only way to get internet. Presently I am in the sticks in Cambodia. I don't think it is the dongle because I uninstalled it and still had the same problems with Organizer.

What is the size of your hard disk? PSE 4 is a very old program and I suspect it is not able to access the entire hard disk on your machine. Just a thought here.

I have been running Win 7 64 bit on an HP Pavilion lap for several months. The whole browser thing has been a nightmare. My work involves heavy duty internet research. Firefox crashes every few minutes. There is no specific event I can find that kicks this off, but running the latest Flash Players and Adobe Reader makes it a lot worse. In fact, I had to set up the adobe reader to not run within the Firefox window. I had to back off to an old version of adobe Reader and Flash Player to accomplish this. I love Firefox. I was disappointed to have to uninstall it as it was impossible to run searches with it.
So then it proved to be that IE either version 8 or 9 was even worse. I could not keep it up long enough to run a search.
So I installed Chrome which has some nice features, but it also crashes, albeit more gracefully so I do not lose my place and it makes a quick recovery but there are many online applications where Chrome just does not work.
My son also has Win7 64 bit and says he is also having the same problems.
I want my Firefox back! Please fix it.

Lion SMB File Sharing with Windows 7 stops working after reboot

I'm running my macmini with lion 10.7.1. I have switched on File Sharing and ticked 'Share files and folders using SMB (Windows)' and ticked my user account. Using the same account name and password on windows and I can access the shares on the macmini fine.
Soon as I reboot the macmini the sharing stops working and Windows just prompts for a username and password. If I disable and enable file sharing again on the macmini then windows can access it again just fine, reboot the mac and it stops again, is this a bug in Lion or have I not got it setup correctly?

Whatever the issue is, it's still happening for me in 10.7.2

Ipod frozen after 1 month of use

i got my ipod for christmas; a brand-new ipod video. the past few days it has been going all slow and yesterday it went to the next song on the playlist when i clicked a song. (repetedly) then, just now, i charged it for about 3 hours, and it has been disconnected from the computer for about a half hour and it is stuck on the 'restart' screen with the apple. it wont respond! what should i do?

Windows suddenly not genuine after 6 months

6 months ago I did a system restore on my thinkpad edge e520 using the lenovo recovery drive and just now a window has started popping up say I need to check if windows is genuine which when I download the tool and run it it says my windows is not genuine. In system in control panel it says that my windows is activated and there is a key present there.
Any ideas guys?

Printing to CD with Windows 8.1

I have an HP Photosmart D5460 printer and recently purchased a laptop with Windows 8.1. After updating the drivers and software I am unable to find anything that will point me to the print on printable CD function of the D5460. The installation CD that came with the printer cannot be used with Windows 8.1 so the software to print to CD is missing. Nowhere in the new Photo Creations software are CD's even mentioned. Is there software available to continue to use all the functions of the D5400 series in Windows 8.1?

Hi, there is no HP software for printing to a CD under Windows 8.
You will need to use 3rd party software.
Give NCN Disketch a try.

Did another window open with the pasted information? If so, try hitting "enter/return" key and "delete" key at the same time. That should get rid of the current action on the ical, the extra window should go bye-bye, and all should be fine with the world.

Your system doesn't meet the requirements and that is that. AE has required 900 pixel height ever since CS4. Other than changing your screen res or shuffling around windows there is nothing you can do.

When I restart my computer and hold the option key after creating a bootable usb with windows 7 and partitioning only the original partition shows up. Not the windows one or the bootable usb.

     Okay so first things first this isn't the newest macbook pro. When I open about my mac and go to system report it says it is a Macbook Pro 3,1 and the Boot Rom Version say MBP31.0070.B07. Originally when starting up Boot Camp Assistant there where only two options, the "create windows 7 bootable usb" was not there at all. So after some editing and helpful tutorials I was able to get the option show up and created a bootable usb with windows 7 and downloaded the support software onto a separate flash drive. Finally I did the last step and created a second partition for windows. Once the process is complete my computer automatically restarts.
     This is where the problem is. Once my computer makes the booting up sound it doesn't load up windows it gets stuck on a apple logo as if it's trying to reastart normally and can't. So I shut down and this time I hold down the option key during start up. It brings up the main partition and some recovery thing but no windows partiton and no bootable usb.
     I forgot to mention that I am running OS X 10.9.3. Okay any body want to help me out? Iv'e been at this for hours and can't get an inch closer to having windows. Please and thank you!

Have you opened Acrobat and gone to Help>Updates to get an updated install?

I had problems with connecting to free Wifi after upgrading my PC(Notebook) to Windows 8.1 from Windows 8. As I travel a lot within europe, I am used to being able to connect to Free Wifi(those that dont need a key or password to enter) but soon after downloading
Windows 8.1 I almost never was able to do this. I'd always get «LIMITED» even though the signal was strong.This was so fustrating,so much so that I reset my PC to clear it of Windows 8.1 and am now back to Windows 8.This is a shame because I was really liking
using Windows 8.1 and if not for this problem(which is a big one) I'd still be using it. If I download Windows 8.1 again from the Windows store what is the probability that I'll have the same problems?

More often than not when a device isn't working it is because the driver has become corrupted. Re-installing a fresh copy should help

Adobe After Effects CS5 Crash and compatibility problems with Windows 7 64-bit

Hello,
I get a lot of crashes of After Effects CS5. I get the message thar Monitor Kernel program stopped responding and recovered.
I also did a compatibility test and found that After Effects CS5 is not compatible with Windows 7 Premium 64-bit.
Could you suggest a solution please?
