Elements12 program formated very small on my Lenovo yoga

I recieved the Adobe Elements 12 photoshop as a christmas present with the new lenovo yoga laptop. When I installed the program on the computer I opened it and it was very small text and tabs. I tried to enlarge the text and the rest of the program by zooming in and out like I do on the rest of the programs and apps and nothing worked. How can I enlarge the program without making the graphics worse?

    My first guess is the same as yours, which is a "zoom" issue. Holding down the Command key and pressing 0 (zero) should reset the zoom level of the current site to the standard level. Is that still too small?
    Regarding content overlapping, this can occur for a few different reasons. Please check on these:
    (1) "Text Only" zoom
    If View menu > Zoom > Zoom Text Only has a checkmark, click it again to unselect it.
    (2) Manually setting font sizes
    In the Preferences dialog (either the "3-bar" menu button or the Firefox menu) > Content > "Advanced" button
    If the Minimum font size is set to a number larger than 9, change it to 9 or None. A large minimum font size often will wreck the layout.
    At the top, there is "Fonts for" drop-down that usually will say Latin or Other Writing Systems. You will want to make the same change for both of those, so select whichever one isn't currently displayed.
    Finally, make sure the checkbox for "Allow pages to choose their own fonts" is checked and OK out of the dialog.
    Any difference so far?

  • Report in PDF Format is Very Small , Why?

    I run the report in browser , it is ok, but when taking output in PDF display is also ok , but when prints the report, it prints 3/4 size of actual report, means very small.
    How to over come this problem.

    Is your reports executed on UNIX or on Windows ?
    If it is executed on UNIX, do you generate a PCL output or a Postscript output ?
    There is a known probem with PCL with the decimal separator used in the output.
    In this case, the variable LANG can be used to fix this problem.
    Example ::
    LANG=en_US ; export LANG

    Bought WRT160N router and PCMCIA card WPC300N.
    Decided to do some tests. Results are not in favor of WRT160N.
    Here it comes:
    1) Linux PC connected via 100Mb LAN directly to router.
    2) Windows XP SP2 Dell Lattitude D600 with WPC300N and Apache server.
    So WPC300N will work for upload.
    Scenario a) Router is WRT54G.
    184M file downloaded in 2m 2 s. with average speed of 1.50MB/s

    Speed was about 2600KB/s. Faster than in scenario b, which tells me that download/upload are not symmetrical in standard N (or may be it's implementation buggy).
    Scenario d) Both PCs connected via 100MB lan to router
    Speed aprox 8800KB/s
    which is very close to 100MB/s and is normal.
    What is not normal - standard N is advertised as able to provide upto 12X throughput and in reality on upload it's not even giving 10% increase.
    Will play with this router for a little more and then will return to BestBuy where I bought it from, since I don't see the reason to pay 100$ for less than 10% increase.

    well, sorry for the confusion. I mean the Program monitor. They show…that is not the problem, but they are tiny. I tried all the settings but there is nothing that seems to have any influence on how the text is shown…I can chose Teletext and 608 etc. and the "channel" but no indicator format for the program monitor. It just seems such an obvious function to have.
    When I import the STL file the only options I can make work is the "Teletext" option, which makes sense for being PAL. There must be something wrong how AegisSub is exporting the STL file and the format that somehow tells PP to make the text very small ( I'm no specialist in this file formats, so I don't even now if STL has formatting information for the caption ).
    As far as I understand PP can read the text, so we are good on the content-front. But why can't I tell the system HOW to show the text in the program monitor ( for the fact that the system CAN read and AND show it…just in a way that is not helpful for me in my workflow, cause it is too small to work with it in a fluent way ).
    Any ideas ?

    A number of posts have reported the same issue, two workarounds:
    1
    check the paper handling options or equivalent in your print dialogue box and set to scale to fit
    2 
    in the Keynote option, in the dropdown menu in the Print section, select Individual Slides
    then choose Layout, and set the number of pages, when printed you will have multiple pages on a single sheet.

    Thanks MartinR, yes the Toggle bars can be adjusted so that I can see all the tracks - just in the smallest setting - however this also creates a huge area of grey which serves no other purpose than to "use up screen space". If this is deliberate then there is nothing one can do - since presumably the additional profit made on screen sales is more important to Apple, than the combined annoyance to those working on a 13" laptop. Of course a 15" screen or even 17" screen may make this wastage less obvious. Please indicate that this is all incorrect and explain why it is important to have space waiting "for additional tracks", even if I have no intention of making additional tracks. If that is the answer then perhaps additional space to the left and right of the timeline would be useful in case I wish to make a 30 minute film, so that it could be placed there without having to drag anything. It may be that I am expecting software than can be tailor adjusted, each parameter to the desired level as in professional items and since this is a cheap consumer program it is not possible.
    I bought Final Cut Pro for a lot of money (when it first appeared it was thousands and not just hundreds) but never used it since it was too complicated and tedious, but maybe there, this problem of screen wastage does not occurr, perhaps someone can advise! I could go back and reinstall it, but it was made for 10.2.8 and not 10.6.8 so it would not run on this macbook. I recently bought an old 15" TitaniumPowerbook (from 2005) and despite running at 1MHz the response time on it is "instantaneous" - amazing to not have the almost half second delay on many commands - graphics appear nearly immediately (just 5 milliseconds delay) and this makes working so much more enjoyable, not having the (350ms) stutter of 10.6.8 which we all get used to after our initial disappointment.

  • PDF font is very small 75% in email

    I have created a classical report.
    Iam executing this report in Background, spool will generate and converting that spool into PDF format and sending mails to the client user id's.
    But iam getting some problem in PDF font, by default if am sending mail to the user id, the font of that PDF file is coming 75% which is very small.
    Now i want to increase the PDF font. For converting spool to PDF format iam using FM: CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF
    passing spool number, output device and getting PDF output in a table IT_PDF_OUTPUT ( Like TLINE ).
    Can any one help me regarding this.

  • Photoshop Elements 12 with UHD (4k) Monitor - Very small Fonts and Icons

    I´m using Photoshop Elements 12 under Windows 8.1 64bit with a Sapphire Radeon X9 R290 4GB-Graphics Card. Since a couple of days with a new Dell UP2414Q, UHD (4k) Monitor, max. Resolution 3840x2160 Pixel.
    After connecting this device and using max. Resolution, most Fonts appear so small, that it is almost impossible to read.
    Dell delivers a Display Manager-Software that allows to scale Fonts. Most Windows Apps are using this. Font Size is already set to 200%.
    Unfortunatelly Organizer and Photoshop ignore this and text remains very small within these programs.
    Activating "Bearbeiten / Voreinstellungen / Allgemein / Systemschrift verwenden" did not help.
    Deinstallation (and deleting user-Settings) with Reinstalling also did not help.
    (I added a screenshot here, but it does not show the truth... In reality all Fonts are about half the size.)
    How can I get larger Fonts?
    I´m really looking Forward to an answer.

    Gosh I am already tired of trying to retrieve this photo album and it seems like a waste of time and money spent on an apple IMac.
    No disrespect intended but until you learn how iPhoto and Macs work you will continue to be confused and frustrated. 
    You say you want to create a book in iPhoto and have it printed by Apple, right.  Have you finished creating  the book in iPhoto? If so the Control (right) - click in the View all pages window background and select Save Book as  PDF in the contextual menu?
    Open the the PDF file with Preview and check for any errors or problems.  If there are none you can order the book by clicking oin the Buy Book button at the bottom. Save the pdf file to compare with the printed book when it arrives in you feel there's a problem with it.  That's all you need to do.  There's no use of the Finder required.

    Unless you export specifcally in another format, iPhoto only sends jpegs. If the mail is generated in or by  iPhoto then it only sends jpeg. Why do you think the images are not Jpegs?
    What do you use for your Email? If it's Apple's Mail, have you checked the size setting in the New Message Window?

  • Web pages suddenly aren't printing correctly - thefont is very small and it only prints part of the info centered on the page -what can I do about this?

    The printing on the page uses only about 1/6 to 1/8 of the width of the paper and is centered and only prints about 27 characters and in a very small font. Also some web pages won't print out any info at all except for header info at the top.

    OMG, thank you! It worked. Here's what I did (I have a Mac):
    File-> Page Setup...->
    # Settings: <page attributes>
    # Format for: I made sure my printer was selected.
    # Paper size: I put <US Letter> or <borderless 8.5" x 11"> both work. This is where the settings had been off!
    # Scale: I put <100%> - it had been at 500% which didn't help either.

  • Captivate 8 : the characters of the menu bar are very small

    I have a surface pro 3 and I use adobe captivate 8 on it.
    I have a second screen that i have connected to my surface.
    The screen resolution of the surface is 2160x1440 and the screen resolution of my 2nd screen is 1366 * 768.
    I start captivate 8 on my surface and the characters are very small

    I donb't have this problems with Word abnd other programs. Is there a way to enlarge the characters.?

    I am also using Captivate on a Surface Pro 3 and the entire menu is tiny.  I am forced to squint and hope my mouse hits just the right spot when trying to make a selection.  I have changed my resolution, changed the magnification and even modified the Captivate properties to be compatible with Windows 8 and I tried Windows 7.  Can someone please respond with the fix?
    There is another conversation within Adobe forums on this I've run across, which also has no solution applied.

    How are you reading e-mail? in a browser (like Safari) or with a separate mail program like Apple Mail or MS Entourage?
    Entourage and Mail have  'larger/smaller" text commands. In either, typing command + or command - will zoom or shrink the text.
    The same commands work in the Safari browser.
    Much of this comes from people with small-screen devices sending to people with really large screens. I have a friend who asks all his contacts to use a larger font than default when they e-mail him. He has a really cantankerous Windows box that will not let him increase font size in received messages.
    If you have a 27-inch iMac the huge amount of screen real estate may make a lot of text hard to read. That's what I have, and I set the desktop resolution to a smaller number to get larger text. My 27-incher defaults to 2560x1440 and everything is small to my old eyes. I changed it to 1920x1080 and lost none of the sharpness but gained a lot in font size.
    If you want to try this, go to System Preferences > Displays and make sure the "Displays", not "Color" tab is active. Click the round button next to "Scaled" and you'll be offered a selection of desktop resolutions.

  • New Install Has Very Small CLI Text

    I built a new system from scratch today and noticed something strange. When it booted into runlevel 3 (no GUI), the test was very small. I don't understand why or what cause this. The font is simply annoying and too small for me to read. It happens 1/2 through the Arch boot process. It changes from normal sized CLI font to very tiny font. I also notice when I try to use 'vi' to open a file, it tells me the terminal is too wide. I think  this is due to the font or something. I simply installed a base system group and selected all the default packages.
    **Correction - the "Terminal Too Wide" message is only in 'vi' and not 'vim'.
    Any ideas?

    hey, the font remains even after appending the line to menu.lst. Firefox, the login screen, acroread, xchm and a host of other programs still use the smaller font instead
