ElementsAuto Analyzer.exe

Hi - I'm a new user to Photoshop Elements II.  I received notice that some PE files needed to be updated.  I got them started but received an error message stating:
Please close the following applications to continue:
ElementsAutoAnalyzer.exe
My OS is Windows XP.   I have located the file in my directory by cannot close it.
Does anyone have any suggestions?  The file installation will not complete with that file being active on my system.  I've right clicked on the file but there were no options to close the file -- delete the file, yes, but none to close the file.
Many thanks,
Phyllis

Terminate the process in task manager as per these guidlines:

  • Stop analyze.exe from running

I am running ZCM 10.3. One workstation with ZCM agent installed kept getting error running analyze.exe and crashed her XP PC. I like to disable analyze from running as I only have a few PCs with the ZCM agent installed and I plan to build a new ZCM 11 server and roll out ZCM 11 as a new system.
Login to ZCC but couldn't find the option to disable the scan....
    Any suggestion would be appreciated.

    Wilsonhandy,
disable ZPM? With 10.3.3/11.1 you have the option to schedule the DAU,
but otherwise it's going to run each day...

  • How do i turn off "Elements auto Analyzer.exe in PSE 12

Whilst updating camera raw to 8.3 i was asked to close the organiser and also the auto analyser.exe,
Firstly i cannot find this on my computer, i ran the organiser and unchecked all the box's to do with
analysing, but i still cannot proceed, any help would be appreciated.

  • Auto analyzer elements 9

I am trying to stop auto analyzer. Have gone to preferences>auto analyzer> and unchecked the box that says run analyzer. Also unchecked all the other boxes..ie. blurry, hi contrast, etc. It is still working!! Wouldn't be so bad but all those analysis are going into " my pictures" and I have 7 or 8 extra folders all with the same photos as the main folder, but marked blurry or hi contrast, etc. taking up computer space. And you can't just delete them without losing the pictures from the main folder. Can anyone help me figure out this problem? Thank You, Karen

Check Task manager for ElementsAuto Analyzer.exe. if it is running, kill it explicitly.

  • The analyze process failed to complete correctly.

    Hi,
I have customer who has a problem with ZPM 10.3.2. The error is "The analyze process failed to complete correctly.{}". Analyze.exe dies and shows message on workstation. I found TID 7009369 in which is explained that fix has been added to the ZENworks Patch Management subscription.
    It is also stated :
"If you are still experiencing this error, ensure that you have the most current Patch Management updates applied (including updated remediate.exe and analyze.exe files)."
All workstations have ZCM 10.3.2 agent installed. Does that means that we should apply ZCM 10.3.3 patch to the zone and maybe "ZCM 11.0 and 10.3.3 - remediate error patch - see TID 7008538" (NOVELL: Downloads - ZCM 11.0 and 10.3.3 - remediate error patch - see TID 7008538) patch ?
Is it possible to use "ZCM 11.0 and 10.3.3 - remediate error patch - see TID 7008538" on ZCM 10.3.2 agents ? I know that has been some changes to the patch remediate function in ZCM 10.3.3 (patch scheduling) ...
    Regards,
    Ivan

    Iuuuuan,
the 10.3.3 files have not been tested against 10.3.2, but they should
work; if all goes well, though, we will have a new remediate and
analyze this week; I've been too busy working at BrainShare last week
to finish creating the patch, but it's high priority now.

  • 11.2.1, Remediate.exe is missing on PCs

When we try to deploy a patch, we get an error like this (translated

The action Mozilla Firefox ESR (German) 10.0.7 for Windows (U-1495467566

Windows error: The system cannot find the file specified...
On the PCs in %ZENWORKS_HOME%\zpm\ the file Remediate.exe doesn't exist!
    (File analyze.exe is also missing...)
    On the ZCM-Server in %ZENWORKS_HOME%\zpm\agents\windows\x86(or x64)\ the
    files exist.
The Server is ZCM 11.2.1 and most of the workstations are 11.2.1, the
    small rest 11.2.0,
    Windows7 and WindowsXP.
We have manually copied the files from
    %ZENWORKS_HOME%\zpm\agents\windows\x86(or x64)\
to %ZENWORKS_HOME%\zpm\ of a PC for testing - then analyzing and
    patching works.
We think update to 11.2.0 deleted or didn't copy the files to the PCs,
because we know that with previous versions the analyzing worked.
But now with 11.2.1 we wanted to serious start introducing patching...
    Any hints, solutions?
    TIA
    Hans-Dieter

    Thank you Shaun!
It showed me the right direction - there was a problem
    with DAU scheduling...

  • Patch Scan not completing

I'm encountering an issue with a device that I'm manually run 'zac ps' on - ZPM starts the patch scan process, but after doing some work (from looking at logfile timestamps) it just seems to sit there (analyze.exe running at 25% CPU constantly).
I've enabled debug logging, and started the patch scan at 11:43. lm.detection.log finishes at 11:47 - the start and end of the log files are as follows:

It's now 12:24 and analyze.exe is still running, but the debug logs still haven't updated. I'm running Zenworks 11.2.3a (agent version 11.2.3.21755) on Windows 7 SP1 64 bit. Is there any reason why ZPM is hanging on what appears to be a Firefox update scan?

  • Patch Management config - Enable not applicable patches

    Hi,
I am trying to clean our list of enabled patches in order to reduce the time taken by the analyze.exe. I plan to uncheck the "Enable not applicable patches" in the ZPM Configuation and asked myself when a patch is "not applicable", because there are not applicable patches in our list, some devices are patched with so I think disabling not applicable patches will result in missing patches that could be useful.
    Thanks for every enlightenment
    Yves

    Hi
Well this part has been left out of the docs (Help), so yes not easy to see what this really covers. But my guess is that you should be fine deselecting this, if it's not applicable it should mean that you have no devices in need of the patch.

  • Catalog conversion from PSE Album v2 to v12 isn't working

I've tried all the suggestions of:
         Turning Auto-Reconnect off
         Disable of Auto-Analyzer
Terminating Auto-Analyzer .exe process in the Task Manager
Version 2 catalog shows no errors during recovery process
There are no missing or unconnected files in version 2
Version 2 of PS Album works fine. When attempting to convert the catalog to version 12 it consistantly fails at 14%.
I have over 3700 pictures in the v2 album that I would rather not load from scratch into v12.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Find all Missing Files, and either try to reconnect or delete from catalog.
    Repair and Optimize catalog.
    Then try and convert again.

  • Photoshop Elements 11 will not download

I have been trying to download Photoshop Elements 11 for a couple of hours and have not had any success.  I keep getting the popup after the installation has started that says - Elements Auto Analyzer. exe.dynamic link manager - is using files that need to be updated.
Then it says "Shared Technologies" failed.
I don't have a clue what it means.

    Hi there,
You need to terminate these two files: Autoanalyzer.exe and Dynamiclinkmanager from the Processes.
Open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Esc. Click on the Processes tab and search for these above two processes and end them.
    Later start the installation again.
