ElementsAutoAnalyser

Currently trying to install the trial version of Flash CS6 professional: I'm getting a request to close ElementsAutoAnalyser.exe (I have photoshop & premeiere elements 10) but can't find to close it! Am also being asked to close dynamiclinkmanager.exe - this is also unlocatable.

You might have ElementsAutoAnalyser.exe and dynamiclinkmanager.exe in the background.
Restart your computer. Then, follow these steps:
On Windows:
1. Navigate to the task manager.
2. Click on the processes tab.
3. Select "Show processes from all users". In the list of processes, look for the desired process.
4. Select the processes and end them.
5. Reinstall the applications.

  • ElementsAutoAnalyser.exe where is it? how do I close it?

I am unable to install my Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12 software. My Customer identification number registered with Adobe is 217852537. During installation, after downloading the installation file using the registration code provided by Adobe I get the message "The following applications are using files that need to be updated by this setup. Close these applications and click Retry to continue :ElementsAutoAnalyser.exe" The problem is that there are not other applications running (of any kind), so there is nothing to close and pressing Retry results in the same message.

    Hi DS.Civil,
Please check in Task Manager(Win)/Activity Monitor(Mac) for the process and end or quit it.
    Hope this helps.
Please let me know in case any problem.

  • Install requires applications be closed

I'm trying to install a downloaded version of Photoshop Elements 11. The installer is asking me to close applications (ElementsAutoAnalyser, PhotoshopServer, dynamiclinkmanager) that I can't locate to close. As far as I can see, they aren't open.

Try to run the Process Manager on the Windows and kill the process or use the activity moniter to close these processes.

  • ACR 8.3 won't load. Stupid message.

I've just installed PSE 12, in the expectation that it would be able to catalog the NEF files from my Nikon D610. Was disappointed I had to install the new ACR 8.3, which I thought should have in there already. No big deal.
But, I now have a message to Close ElementsAutoAnalyser, exe before proceeding. I don't see that it is running on my task manager.
    What now?

So the start-with-WIndows preference for ElementsAutoAnalyzer has been removed in PSE12 and cannot be turned off?
For PSE11 on Windows, MSCONFIG also showed a startup item called ElementsAutoAnalyzer.exe, and I could turn it off by unchecking the checkbox in MSCONFIG and then rebooting.
An update installer should be able to communicate with any process that it needs to stop so the user doesn't have to resort to system hacking when they buy a new camera.

  • What is Elements Auto Analyser?

When I try to update Adobe Premiere Elements 11 and Adobe Photoshop Elements 11, one of the files which downloads is PhotoShop Camera Raw 7.2. While attempting to update, a dialog box informs me that I must quite ElementsAutoAnalyser.exe. What is and where is ElementsAutoAnalyser.exe and how can I close the application.
Several times I've attempted the update and each time the same dialog box appears.
    Very frustrating.
    Thanks for any help,
    Dale

    Hi Dale
auto analyser is one of the services running with PRE or PSE.
It is a useful features in many cases.
You can exit it from the task manager if it's running when you're updating.
Else go to organiser, go to edit>preference>media analysis and uncheck the buttons.

  • Please god

just help answer the question and stop all these pop ups.
I ordered and recieved photo shop elements 10 to go with my new Nikon D800 but when it arrived I still needed an update. I googled what to do and it said go into the organiser and choose help, then choose update.
Ha ha who would have thought it that easy.
The update raw 6.7 get to 28 seconds through and stops asking to close elements organiser and elementsautoanalyzer.exe  Well its easy to close the Organizer but what is elementsautoanalyser.exe which is not open in the task manager?

If you want to turn off the auto-analyzer to improve performance launch the Organizer and on the menu bar click Edit à Preferences à Media Analysis
Then uncheck all the boxes and click OK.
