Eligibility for CC Student edition

Hey there,
What type of course would qualify you for a CC student membership?
For instance, would studying part time at Raindance Film School work? I am thinking of doing a few courses with them, but it is quite expensive as it is, so it would definitely sway my decision if it would then qualify me to get Premiere and AE at the discounted rate.

To qualify for a student discount, you must be enrolled in one of the following:
University or college — accredited public or private university or college (including community, junior, or vocational college) that grants degrees requiring not less than the equivalent of two years of full-time study*
Primary or secondary school — accredited public or private primary or secondary school providing full-time instruction*
*Accredited schools are those that are recognized by the Ministry of Education or an equivalent government body.

Perhaps you can copy it using a different computer, from the disk to a USB key.
However, external DVD drives are cheap and in my view essential.

I bought Photoshop CS6 Extended for Windows Student Edition for my PC online last year from Curry's PC World. I was told at the time of purchase that I would be able to transfer this software from my PC onto a Macbook. You didn't mention who told you you could transfer the software, but I suspect it was not anyone from Adobe. Versions are platform specific so there is little chance of installing the Windows version on a Mac without the use of a Windows emulator of some kind. Since it is CS6, you do have the option to apply for a platform swap. See the following...

Clearly, anyone aged 14 must be going through some kind of educational process, and therefore his age alone should qualify him for student editions.

Eligibility for the student teacher edition

I'm thinking of taking a computer course with the Distance Learning Centre and want to know if I'll be eligible to buy the student teacher version of the creative suite. I'll have an NUS Extra card but don't know what documentation I'll get from the centre to prove I'm studying or whether their centre is eligible as an educational institution under Adobe rules.

I'd like to know if students anywhere in the world are eligible for the CC student edition at the discounted price (once proof of their student status is provided)?
Secondly, how does a parent purchase for the child i.e. parent's financial details and child's student information? Do you register the account in the child's name or the parent's?

Eligable for CC Student but graduating soon, how does it work

Hi,
I currently have CS 5.1 and have been thinking about upgrading to CC for a while now. I'm currently a student and qualify for student edition but I graduate this summer. Do I get to pay the student price for a year since I'm a student when I signed up? Or does the price go up as soon as I graduate even though the student edition is annual? I'll most likely have less money just after graduating than I have now as a student getting student loans so if this is the case I just can't afford it. I can't seem to find any information about this and would like to know so I can decide on whether or not to sign up for CC.

Rinfrost most student discounts are an annual commitment. This means the price will remain the same for a year. When it is time to renew your subscription you will then have the option to choose a standard plan if you no longer qualify for the education pricing.

Problems Getting A Serial Number For My Student Edition

I got a copy of Photoshop CS4 Extended - Student Edition from JourneyEd.com. Tried to register the product with myidentit-e.com and it says I have an invalid product code number. I call them and they tell me to call JourneyEd and get a new product code number. Called JourneyEd and they said that they don't generate these numbers, call Abobe. I call Adobe and they ask me for some other code number which should be on the inside of the DVD cover. There is no number.
I have a feeling that I just spent $200 and some change for a product that I can't use and no one wants to take responsibility. Any suggestions out there?

Doesn't look like journeyed.com has a stellar reputation. If they cannot resolve the problem quickly, get your money back. And call your credit card company today to dispute the charge (assuming you didn't just send 'em a check).
I recommend that you should buy directly through Adobe, your school store, or other ethical vendor -- check vendor ratings before buying.

Missing Document "Erste Schritte in LabView" for current Student edition 2014

Can anyone tell me where i can find the current documents for
"Erste Schritte in LabView" to go with the 2014 ServicePack 1 Student edition ?
All i can seem to find is those for the 2013 version:
373427J-0113, 323427J-0113
wich contain a hint that there's a newer version, but the search link redirects to the same document.
they seem to have quite a few differences, especially the tutorial documents they refer to didn't come with my install.
In Addition where can i find the tutorials folder they refer to? is that an extra download package?

It seems that there is no getting started for LabVIEW 2014. I think the differences between the basic operations of 2013 and 2014 are not very large.
In addition, the tutorial folder of LabVIEW 2013 contained only two VIs. You will find one of them (generate and display) in the template folder "simulated" of LabVIEW 2014.

Obtaining Serial # for CS6 Student Edition?

I've just purchased CS6 Student Edition from Amazon.
I have all the needed documents to show eligibility as a student.
There is nothing on the box telling me how I need to obtain a serial number from Adobe, just that I must show eligibilty before installing.
Who do I need to contact to obtain a serial number prior to my installing CS6?
Any help would be appreciated.

Might be a good reason to buy the discounted versions directly from Adobe. I think the process is more integrated.

I am trying to get a serial number for the student edition of Lightroom

Can I use an alternate email address for my redemption number? During the student validation process I was told the number was sent to my student email address but it is not there.

The (?i) makes the search case insensitive in case it wasn't typed as all caps, the ? inside the second grouping makes the shortest match for cases when there is more than one instance in a paragraph, and I've not added any quotes since I presumed those aren't actually in the text.
I would deal with the formatting by typing FREE exactly as you want it someplace on the pastebord, then copy to the clipboard. Change to $1~c which replaces the found string with the text found in the first subexpression (.+?), which is the stuff before the first FREE, and the the formatted contents of the clipboard for the FREE.

MS Office for Mac Student Edition

LoL another question I have come upon:
As the title suggests I am planning on getting Office for Mac... doing some price research, I've found it valued between $130-140 retail depending on where I look.
Now, I was looking at Best Buy's website (I'd prefer to buy it in person) and noticed they have it for $199.99... is this without an additional instant student rebate of some kind? If I show my student card, will I be able to get it for the price I've been seeing on the internet?
