Ellipsis 7  not working

My ellipsis 7 will not go to any app that I have on my tablet plus it turns off within 5 seconds off use.while trying to get to an app.  Screen freezes on me and restarts it self. Then when I try and turn off the device it will not turn off.

    Oh my, mrvlyn. That's certainly strange behavior for your tablet. When it freezes or restarts, do you see any error message? Please go into Settings > About Tablet > SW Version and let us know what software version you see. Also, please go into Settings > Apps > Downloaded, then begin selecting one application at a time > select 'Move to tablet space', if it is available.

  • Ellipsis 7 not working after 3 months

    I purchased an Elipsis 7 for my husband to use while he is out in the field to do minor things such as check and respond to emails. Last week it simply quit working, He took it in to the Verizon store and had a sales rep look at it and sure enough, it would not turn on. The gentleman in the store explained we would have to call the tech line and have it replaced as it would still fall under the one year manufacturer warranty.  No problem, I understand there are channels to be followed. I called Friday 10/17 and spoke to a representative that informed me he was placing an order for a replacement device, (after we went through the same steps all over again to ensure the device was indeed not working.)  I even have my confirmation e-mail stating a replacement device is being sent and how to return the defective device. The associate went over with me the fact that if there is any water or other damage we would be charged the $300 for the device. Again, fine, I know there is a process. He also stated we would receive the replacement device yesterday 10/20. I did not receive it so I called back today as there was no tracking information available on my account.  The gentleman I spoke with this evening stated the order has not shipped yet and he cannot tell why and that he would have to cancel the original request and submit a new one. The main problem with this is he is stating they are having to send a recovery box, clearly different than the discussion I had with the rep on Friday.  So now, not only was our order delayed, but we will not even be getting the replacement until after they review the original device so we're looking at a minimum of another week. For an item that is only 3 months old that has been well taken care of this is a ridiculous amount of hassle. I have been on the phone now for a total of 2 hrs and still have a tablet that is not working. I am extremely dissatisfied with the lack of knowledge and consistency from one employee to another. They couldn't have been any more friendly, they are just kindly misinforming your customers. If this is how you all handle your claims on a new device, I will not be renewing my contract and will even consider going to one of your competitors that buys out your contracts.  This is the first claim I have ever had to file after a decade of patronage and I could not be any unhappier.

    Hi kld01
    Thank you for  your feedback. We were sorry to hear about your experience and have already made changes to internal resources about the Ellipsis 7 to hopefully provide more consistent communications about the recovery box process. Your tablet will be fixed through recovery box as this is the only repair process for the Ellipsis 7. Following is what you can expect as far as timing:
    - Your recovery box should arrive within 3 days
    - The box should arrive to the manufacturer within 2-3 days after you ship it
    - The manufacturer will repair the Ellipsis 7 and ship it back to you within 3 days
    - You should receive your device within 2 days

  • Illustrator - Ellipse tool not working properly

    Hi,
    totally new to Illustrator, so probably a silly question, but I really don't know what to do at this point.
    Suddenly when using the ellipse, rectangle,...tool, when drawing the object, it shows the path (pls see picture below). I obviously clicked something/turned on some functionality that I shouldn't have, but I have no idea which and how.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)
    Thanks.

    Thanks so much! I would have never thought of that.

  • Shift key and ellipse tool not working

    Can't make a perfect circle in CS5 using shift key. Anyone else having this problem?

    Order,
    If the Type remains unchanged when selected, you seem to need to both Show Edges and Show Bounding Box under View. You should be able to move it though. Otherwise, something else is wrong.

  • Rectangle menu not working

    Hi! I am trying to draw a circle and I can't bring in the ellipse tool because for some reason the menu that is suppose to come up when you click and hold the rectangle tool is not working. What can I do to fix it?

    Unfortunately you do not say which version of spry you are using, so first make sure that you have the current version as this fixes many of the IE related problems.
    You can get the latest version by visiting:http://www.labs.adobe.com/technologies/spry/

  • I am trying to hide the Options menu in UserChrome.css but it is not working. Here is what I have tried menuitem[label="Options..."] {display:none !important;}

    In the userChrome.css I have tried the following entry: #updateSeparator, #checkForUpdates {display: none !important;}
    menuitem[label="Options..."] {display:none !important;}
    menuitem[label="Add-ons"] {display:none !important;}
    menuitem[label="Get Bookmark Add-ons"] {display:none !important;}
    The other lines work, but the line to hide the Options menu does not. This in on Windows 32-bit XP sp3.

    It is an ellipsis (…) and not three dots.
    If there is an ID for a menu entry like in this case #menu_preferences then it is better to use that ID.
    <pre><nowiki>#menu_preferences, #menu_openAddons, {display:none!important;}</nowiki></pre>
    "Get Bookmark Add-ons" is a normal bookmark that you can remove via the right-click context menu or move elsewhere.

  • Why is Rectangle Tool's matching dimension feature not working?

    With the Rectangle Tool's cursor is clicked in the document.
    The Rectangle Panel appears.
    A height dimension is entered.
    With the pointer, the Width field is clicked.
    Usually, the Height Value gets automatically entered in the Width field.
    In this case it does not.
    This same behavior is occuring in the Ellipse Tool.
    What has changed?
    Thanks

    Illustrator CS6

    I may not have been clear on what is not working... the feature I am trying to create has been in Illustrator for several versions... another discusion on this site deals with the same problem...
    see http://forums.adobe.com/message/4910715... it is explained...
    'There has always been a one click solution, just like the help file says. Try it in CS5, click once with the tool, enter your width value, click on the word height, ill copies the width value into the height field, hit enter and you are done.'
    it is this function that I have used for years.

    I've read that specifying nVIDIA BusID helps, so I've done without success:
    $ cat /etc/bumblebee/xorg.conf.nvidia
    Section "ServerLayout"
    Identifier "Layout0"
    Option "AutoAddDevices" "false"
    Option "AutoAddGPU" "false"
    EndSection
    Section "Device"
    Identifier "DiscreteNvidia"
    Driver "nvidia"
    VendorName "NVIDIA Corporation"
    BusID "PCI:01:00:00"
    # If the X server does not automatically detect your VGA device,
    # you can manually set it here.
    # To get the BusID prop, run `lspci | egrep 'VGA|3D'` and input the data
    # as you see in the commented example.
    # This Setting may be needed in some platforms with more than one
    # nvidia card, which may confuse the proprietary driver (e.g.,
    # trying to take ownership of the wrong device). Also needed on Ubuntu 13.04.
    # BusID "PCI:01:00:0"
    # Setting ProbeAllGpus to false prevents the new proprietary driver
    # instance spawned to try to control the integrated graphics card,
    # which is already being managed outside bumblebee.
    # This option doesn't hurt and it is required on platforms running
    # more than one nvidia graphics card with the proprietary driver.
    # (E.g. Macbook Pro pre-2010 with nVidia 9400M + 9600M GT).
    # If this option is not set, the new Xorg may blacken the screen and
    # render it unusable (unless you have some way to run killall Xorg).
    Option "ProbeAllGpus" "false"
    Option "NoLogo" "true"
    Option "UseEDID" "false"
    Option "UseDisplayDevice" "none"
    EndSection
    Manually loading bbswitch or nvidia does not work:
    $ sudo modprobe bbswitch
    modprobe: FATAL: Module bbswitch not found.
    $ sudo modprobe nvidia
    modprobe: FATAL: Module nvidia not found.
    Of course nouveau module is blacklisted.
    I have no clue on what to do.

  • Deflation Animation not Working

    Hi,
    I have got a code from this forum which create a ellipse on the client area. First it creates a rectangle equivalent to the size of client area. I have put the deflation code in the ::OnTimer( ....) but its not working.
    void CTestingCode1View::OnDraw(CDC* pDC)
    CTestingCode1Doc* pDoc = GetDocument();
    ASSERT_VALID(pDoc);
    if (!pDoc)
    return;
    GetClientRect(&rect);
    //CRect rc(rect.TopLeft().x+10, rect.TopLeft().y+10,rect.BottomRight().x-10,rect.BottomRight().y-10);
    //CDC *pDC = GetDC();
    CDC WorkDC;
    CBitmap memBmp, * pOldMemBmp;
    WorkDC.CreateCompatibleDC(pDC);
    memBmp.CreateCompatibleBitmap(pDC, rect.Width(), rect.Height());
    pOldMemBmp = (CBitmap *)WorkDC.SelectObject(&memBmp);
    int oldBkMode = WorkDC.SetBkMode(TRANSPARENT);
    WorkDC.Ellipse(rect);
    WorkDC.SetBkMode(oldBkMode);
    // WorkDC.BitBlt(0, 0, rect.Width(), rect.Height(), pDC, 0, 0, SRCCOPY);
    //pDC->BitBlt(0, 0, rect.Width(), rect.Height(), &WorkDC, 0, 0, SRCCOPY);
    pDC->BitBlt(rect.left, rect.top, rect.Width(), rect.Height(), &WorkDC, 0, 0, SRCCOPY);
    WorkDC.SelectObject(pOldMemBmp);
    pOldMemBmp->DeleteObject();
    // TODO: add draw code for native data here
    }void CTestingCode1View::OnTimer(UINT_PTR nIDEvent)
    // TODO: Add your message handler code here and/or call default
    rect.DeflateRect(10,10);

    int CTestingCode1View::OnCreate(LPCREATESTRUCT lpCreateStruct)
    if (CView::OnCreate(lpCreateStruct) == -1)
    return -1;
    SetTimer(1,200,NULL);

    CReact is declared as a class variable in *view.h. Some body please guide me.

    Hi my friend,
    I am able to calculate the values for initial line like ellipse at the start of inflation process by trial and error process. The values are part of OnDraw(...) method. There is a little bit flicker when the inflation ellipse is maximized.

    Dear Sandy,
    Go to V/N1 transaction select your self defined access sequence then go in to the accesses and fields and check all fields are activated.

  • Adobe bridge raw not working with windows vista in photoshop cc, why?

    adobe bridge raw not working in photoshop cc, is there a fix?

    Your sure your using photoshop cc on windows vista?
    I was under the impression that photoshop cc would not even install on windows vista.
    What version of camera raw do you have?
    In photoshop under Help>About Plugin does it list Camera Raw and if so which version is it?
    (click on the words Camera Raw to see the version)
    Camera raw doesn't work if it's a camera raw file or some other file type such as jpeg or tif?
    What camera are the camera raw files from?
    Officially camera raw 8.3 is the latest version of camera raw that will work on windows vista.

  • Partner application logoff not working

    We have a partner application registered with sso with custom login screen. The login works fine. We use the following code to logoff the partner application in logoff.jsp
    response.setHeader("Osso-Return-Url", "http://my.oracle.com" );
    response.sendError(470, "Oracle SSO");
    session.invalidate();
    but the logoff is not working properly. It is not invalidating the session and the logout http request is not going from the application server to the sso server.
    Are there any additional configurations for SSO logoff.Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi
    The WF should also trigger if i add the Partner function in UI.If i change any Attribute the WF triggers but i dont want to change the attribute when i add the partner function.
    If i have only one event for WF that is Partner Change the WF will not trigger it for the 1st time when i save the UI. But next i come to the same saved doc and add a partner function then the Wf triggers.
    So this means that Partner change is active.
    the issue here is i need to trigger the WF on , the 1st time i save the UI, for which i wil be using Attribute Change and next time when i come back to saved doc the and add only the partner function and no changes are made to attributes the WF should again trigger.
    Thanks
    Tarmeem
