Cant use elluminate on Firefox MAC I need to
Save the file to your desktop with a jnlp file extension, eg. Meeting.jnlp
Right click or Control click on the JNLP file and select Open With -> Other
In the “Choose Application” window, in the left panel, select the appropriate boot device (ie. Macintosh HD or MAC OS X)
Browse to /System/Library/CoreServices/Java Web Start.app
Check the box for “Always Open With” and then click the “Open” button.
If the Java Web Start.app file is greyed out/not selectable, enable "All Applications" at the bottom of this window.
As for safari runs it automatically

What is your "Elements 2" - Photoshop Elements 2 or Premiere Elements 2? For now I will assume Premiere Elements 2 which had to be on some version of Windows.
What do you have from Premiere Elements 2 - project files (.prel) or exports to file formats such as .avi or .mpg or .mov?
Project files from Premiere Elements (any version) Windows cannot be used in Premiere Elements (any version) Mac.
Video files exported from Premiere Elements 2 with its QuickTime choice (.mov files) would be likely to open in Premiere Elements 13 Mac. The other Premiere Elements
2 choices of MPEG and Windows Media would be expected to need conversion to .mov or .mp4 before import into Premiere Elements 13.
In Premiere Elements 13 Mac, consider importing the files from wherever you save files in Mac to a project with the project's Expert workspace Add Media/Files and Folders/Project Assets. I would strongly encourage you to set the project preset manually (File Menu/New/Project) to match the properties of these source files before import rather than let the project do it manually for you based on the properties of the first video dragged to the Timeline.
Please supply more details so that we can fine tune the reply. Any questions or need clarification, please do not hesitate to ask.

Cannot type anything in TextInput using Firefox Mac Version

I tried to practice the example in the chapter 12 of Flex2
Getting Started Document.
It is fine using IE, Firefox (Windows), and Safari, however I
can not type anything in the TextInput through Firefox Mac version!
It is also fine when I directly open the SWF file.
Does anyone know what's happened ?

*** may have found a fix ? *** Thanks to your post re: GDI objects I checked task manager ( added column "GDI objects")and saw 700+ whereas working 6.18 was 160 ish Got thinking - what could possibly use that many GDI objects ( firefox only uses a few hundred and it's a platform ) Then it hit me - emoticons ! So in tools/ options/ IM&SMS/ IM Appearance unchecked "show emoticons"and also unchecked "show images and other media previews"restarted Skype and GDI objects now only 164 ( down from 729 )and all other windows are repainting fine and are usable again( my problem was RDP sessions that became unusable, as I work remotely ) To be sure, have rechecked the options and restarted skype and see 700+GDI objects ( goes up from 660 when place call to echo/sound test )and removed them again to get only 164have also rebooted a few times and gone through the whole processof unchecking emoticons, restart, rechecking emoticons, restart to make sure itsnot a fluke. pretty sure this has fixed it for me ( so I now have a working 7.6.0.105 on XP SP3 ),and as your problem "sounds" the same I hope it also works for you. It's a mac book pro 17", OS X 10,5 . It worked perfectly but when I (or actually my friend) plugged the jack into the wall outlet it came a small flash (in the wall outlet) and then it didn't start up. No sound, no light on the screen. I didn't actually see what happened, but I asked if she plugged it in with the magsafe wire still attached to the computer, and she believed she might have. Is there anything to do? I have a couple of mac computers, two other mac book pro (writing on the newest one now - 13" - late 2011 - OS X Lion 10.7.5), if it could help.

I can't install Firefox 5. It downloads & starts the wizard. I follow the prompts till it says it needs to restart the computer 'to complete a previous upgrade of firefox' . I say yes and it restarts and there is no sign of firefox and no error message.

The very first time I tried this there was a red message that flashed on the screen too fast to read it. I have Windows 7 and AVG. My son's computer also has Windows 7 and AVG and his upgrade went without a hitch. It deleted my old version of firefox (3.6.12) so now I'm using IE. Windows installed a lot of updates just before I tried upgrading firefox. I have tried turning my firewall down. I have gone to the file in downloads and double clicked it and it does the same thing. It always says it needs to restart the computer even though I have closed all other applications. Should I just give up and try reinstalling an older version of Firefox? Thanks

It is probably because you are not properly closing Firefox. Restarting your system would make sure that Firefox had terminated, but you do not have to do that.
To properly close Firefox on Windows systems, use
:File > Exit or "Firefox:" button > Exit
When you get the message "Firefox is already running" it is too late, and you must force termination of Firefox through the Windows Task Manager before restarting Firefox. Windows 7 has a keyboard shortcut to save you a step "Ctrl+Shift+Esc" then on "Processes" tab, select "firefox.exe" and use the "End Process" button. More thorough would be to right-click on the "firefox.exec" and choose "End Process Tree".
You would find firefox.exe in a Mozilla folder in your program files, but y0u would not want to delete it there, you would need to use the Control Panel which you have already identified and do it from there -- but generally you would not need to do that, and there is nothing in what you have posted to indicate that you should. But if you did do that, then don't let the install start Firefox for you as you would want to use you existing desktop icon or method of starting Firefox, and should decline having Firefox install start Firefox for you. When the install starts then invoke Firefox in your normal manner. This should eliminate problems of creating a new profile rather than using your old profile.

You need to be running Mac OS X 10.5 or newer to get iTunes 10. This OS version won't run on a G3.
Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.6 are available on DVD. Mac OS X 10.6 requires an Intel Mac.

On my mac, when trying to overwrite the old software with the new, I'm being told I don't have access to certain information and I cannot complete the install.

I just downloaded the latest version of firefox. When trying to drag the new version into my applications folder it asks if I want to override the previous version. I say yes. Then I get a message saying this task can't be completed because I "don't have access to certain information." I don't know what this means or how to override it.

If you mean that Find My Phone is asking for a password to a different Apple ID to your current Apple ID and that ID is a previous version of your current ID, not an entirely different one.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details and some other circumstances.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device. It may take a short while to remove the account.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

When i open a new tab i get a tab with 2 blue bars, instead of one - the one on top of the site - and a little firefox dropdown - and when i start the next session firefox crashes???

When clicking a link - a new tab opens. But the new tab which opens looks wired: There are 2 blue bars - the one you get on each session(where the red x is which closes everything) - I don`t know how you call this. This 2nd blue bar is located directly under the "normal" one and has got - on the left hand side- a firefox dropdown menue(when you click it you get: New Tab, Start private browsing, edit, save page as and so on.
I can close the session as always but when i start the next session a view hours or a day later then firefox opens all the tabs from the session before as individual windows - and then it crashes. This happens 2 or 3 times - then i see a window where i am asked to either restore the old session(which doesn`t work - it always crashes again) or start a new session - which works.
This is very annoying. Please tell me what to do.

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the files sessionstore.js [2] and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.<br />
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

I have installed SAP NetWeaver 7.0 ABAP Trial Version and when i try to start the SAPMMC .The first step both message server & dispatcher are running but the dispacther is getting stopped and when i try to log using the log on pad with the message

Are you loged in Windows with "SID"ADm user (for example your sap name TST --> user TSTADM) and the sap are started but dispatcher is stopped?
If yes into dos prompt , you view some like this :
C:\Documents and Settings\TSTADM>
Run this
C:\Documents and Settings\TSTADM>R3trans -d
After this you see some like R3trans finished with (0012). ---> go to C:\Documents and Settings\TSTADM folder, in this folder R3tras create the trans.log file find him and post here.
(example if you are into dos prompt in c:\SAP directory and excute the R3trans -d you need to find the trans.log in c:\SAP folder.)
