EM Testing issue - urgent

I have been using jdev 11.1.1.2.
My EJB service running on dev server which has couple of methods. All the methods have been successfully tested in ejb.
I have created a SOA application.
In the composite.xml added two webservice adaptor and one mediator. In the mplan I have mapped routing rules.
Wired exposed services to mediator and mediator to external references.
I can able to test successfully (EM) all the methods except one method.
I opened the recent instances the flow trace shows, service -> completed & mediator component -> running. It never finished running. Always in running state. Why? I could not able to test the particular method.
For other methods, it shows mediator component -> completed.
I have no clue how to fix this issue. Thank you.

Puthanampatti,
You'll probably have more luck on the SOA Suite forum.

  • Need help in Payroll Tax Balance Issue - Urgent

    Hi,
    Please help me with the following Tax and Balance issue. The system is on 12.0.3, South African Legislation.
    Issue : Salary has been restructured from Basic Salary to Total package structure in Dec 2008. Retro Pay was used to pay the difference amounts in Dec Run. But while configuring the new Elements for this Total Package they have missed out adding the Retro Elements to Proper Tax calculating Balances.
    Eg : "TP Salary" element is fed to "Taxable Income RFI" balance but "TP Retro Salary" element is not fed to this balance.
    So tax has not been calculated for those Retro amounts. This has been identified while validating test run for IRP5 tax certificates.
    The Feb 09 (Feb is the Tax year End for payroll) Payroll was already run on 10th and payments were already done. Now we need to tax the retro amounts and retrieve the balance tax amounts from Employees.
    I added the proper tax balances to those Retro elements and and the balances were adjusted to add the Retro amounts. Then I ran the Feb run the payroll again as of 20th, it did not recalculate the tax.
    How to recalculate the tax so that correct tax reflects in the Tax certificates? Please help me with the necessary Info.
    Thanks,
    Sri.

    Hi,
    As I mentioned earlier, I added the appropriate balances which are used to calculate Tax to Retro Elements and those Balances got updated with the delta amount but Tax was not updated. I want to know is there any process provided by Oracle using which Tax for those already paid amounts can be recalculated.
    I calculated the Tax manually and using Adjust Balance form added ZA_TAX_BALANCE_ADJUSTMENT Element and given the difference tax amount in PAYE and Tax Input values and saved the form. The Tax got updated.
    Tax_ASG_RUN - 15000
    Tax_ASG_TAX_YTD - 153257.32 (Prev - 138257.32). When I run the IRP5 (Tax Certificate Process) the tax is also getting correctly on it.
    But client wants Oracle to calculate the Tax for those retro amounts so thats the challenge.
    Could you help me with this.
    Thanks,
    Sri

  • SQL Query Group By Issues - Urgent

    I currently have an issue writing a pl\sql report, I can get part of the way to the results I want but the group by clause is causing problems, because I have to add more columns to the group by, dispersing the figures further, I have tried it with coalesce for each of the task types but I still get the same results, I am getting close to the results I need but not quite there yet. I would really appreciate it if someone could take at look at this for me as it is an urgent requirement.
    The report is based on the tables similar to the following:
    TASKS, ORGANISATIONS, POSITIONS
    A position is a member of an organisation.
    A task has a position assigned to it.
    The SQL for the tables and to insert the data that would produce the report is detailed below:
    CREATE TABLE TASKS
    (     TASK_ID NUMBER NOT NULL ENABLE,
         TASK_TYPE VARCHAR2 (15 BYTE) NOT NULL ENABLE,
         STATUS VARCHAR2 (15 BYTE) NOT NULL ENABLE,
         POS_ID NUMBER NOT NULL ENABLE,
         CONSTRAINT TASKS_PK PRIMARY KEY (TASK_ID));
    CREATE TABLE ORGANISATIONS
    (     ORG_ID NUMBER NOT NULL ENABLE,
         ORG_NAME VARCHAR2 (15 BYTE) NOT NULL ENABLE,
         CONSTRAINT ORGANISATIONS_PK PRIMARY KEY (ORG_ID));
    CREATE TABLE POSITIONS
    (     POS_ID NUMBER NOT NULL ENABLE,
         POS_NAME VARCHAR2 (25 BYTE) NOT NULL ENABLE,
         ORG_ID NUMBER NOT NULL ENABLE,
         CONSTRAINT POSITIONS_PK PRIMARY KEY (POS_ID));
    INSERT INTO ORGANISATIONS (ORG_ID, ORG_NAME) VALUES (1,'ABC');
    INSERT INTO ORGANISATIONS (ORG_ID, ORG_NAME) VALUES (2,'DEF');
    INSERT INTO ORGANISATIONS (ORG_ID, ORG_NAME) VALUES (3,'EFG');

    Hi,
    Apologies, my insert statements where incorrect, if you try the data below instead it should give you output I was expecting
    INSERT INTO TASKS( TASK_ID, TASK_TYPE, STATUS, POS_ID) VALUES (1,'TASK_TYPE_1', 'LIVE',1);
    INSERT INTO TASKS( TASK_ID, TASK_TYPE, STATUS, POS_ID) VALUES (2,'TASK_TYPE_1', 'LIVE',2);
    INSERT INTO TASKS( TASK_ID, TASK_TYPE, STATUS, POS_ID) VALUES (3,'TASK_TYPE_1', 'LIVE',5);
    INSERT INTO TASKS( TASK_ID, TASK_TYPE, STATUS, POS_ID) VALUES (4,'TASK_TYPE_1', 'LIVE',7);
    INSERT INTO TASKS( TASK_ID, TASK_TYPE, STATUS, POS_ID) VALUES (5,'TASK_TYPE_1', 'LIVE',7);
    INSERT INTO TASKS( TASK_ID, TASK_TYPE, STATUS, POS_ID) VALUES (6,'TASK_TYPE_1', 'LIVE',7);
    INSERT INTO TASKS( TASK_ID, TASK_TYPE, STATUS, POS_ID) VALUES (7,'TASK_TYPE_1', 'LIVE',7);
    INSERT INTO TASKS( TASK_ID, TASK_TYPE, STATUS, POS_ID) VALUES (8,'TASK_TYPE_2', 'LIVE',4);
    INSERT INTO TASKS( TASK_ID, TASK_TYPE, STATUS, POS_ID) VALUES (9,'TASK_TYPE_2', 'LIVE',5);
    INSERT INTO TASKS( TASK_ID, TASK_TYPE, STATUS, POS_ID) VALUES (10,'TASK_TYPE_3', 'LIVE',1);
    INSERT INTO TASKS( TASK_ID, TASK_TYPE, STATUS, POS_ID) VALUES (11,'TASK_TYPE_3', 'LIVE',7);
    INSERT INTO TASKS( TASK_ID, TASK_TYPE, STATUS, POS_ID) VALUES (12,'TASK_TYPE_2', 'LIVE',7);
    INSERT INTO TASKS( TASK_ID, TASK_TYPE, STATUS, POS_ID) VALUES (13,'TASK_TYPE_3', 'LIVE',7);
    The results I would like are
    ORG    No. of Pos     No of Task    No of Task     No of Task     Total no
               In Org           Type1 for      Type2 for        Type3 for       of Tasks
                                   Org             Org                Org               for Org
    ABC        3                   2                 0                   1                   3
    DEF        2                   1                 2                   0                   3
    EFG        1                   4                 1                   2                   7
    Total        6The results I get are multiple lines for each organisation, I would like to rollup these lines so I can have one line per organisation.
    Hope this helps a bit more, I appreciate the help, let me know if you need more information
    Thanks

  • Problem is testing mapping via test tab - URGENT

    Hello experts,
    I have a idoc to file scenario. Now in my production environment, SAP r/3 is sending some 14 idocs containing around 13000 article informations in all. 12 of the 14 idocs have been processed successfully but 2 idocs errored out.
    When i see the monitor, it says null pointer exception in mapping. that means its giving error in one of my udf. But what exactly the error is can only be found if i test my mapping with this payload.
    I download the XML (which i very big as it contains some 850 article information) and when i try to upload this xml in the test tab, it gives me error that the tree cannot be created and IR hangs. It doesnt respond anymore and i need to forcefully close it via Task Manager. I dont understnad why is it not able to upload the XML. Is there any limit to which the test tab can take the xml or am i missing something.
    Please help as this si really urgent as i am working on the production system.
    regards,
    Yash

    hi
    Chk the XML structure first..It will really better if U can download the Altova XML tool (if possible ) and can chk the structure .
    Java null pointer exception comes if one of ur object is not getting the proper value..
    That means U initialize ur object ..U use also in any method..
    When U use the object in method it is not getting the exact "value"  u want to pass.Chk also the UDF..
    I think the error is due to the UDF u hv written..
    Cheers

  • 0P_FYEAR issue - Urgent -  Please help

    Hi,
    We are developing six new BCS queries. We have already have about 30 reports.
    1. We are using the Fiscal Year variable (0FISCYEAR)  -  0P_FYEAR in most of the queries. In the new reports, particularly in one query, the previous year is not working with -1 offset value. but, the same variable is working in other new reports for previous year. Please help how to rectify the issue.
    2.  I have started trying many options in QA environment and found that there was a option to choose CONSTANT SELECTION in the 0FISCYEAR. So, I tried to select the Constant selection and found that the PREVIOUS YEAR IS WORKING for the query, for which earlier it was not working. Now, my another issue is that previous year is not working for all other queries which we have used the 0P_FYEAR as variable.
    Since I have tried this in QA, all the reports in QA are not working for previuos year. Please advise urgently to correct the same.
    Thanks & Regards,

    Hi ,
    Have you used Fiscal Yaer variant in your query?
    When you use these variables you should restrict querieswith correct fiscal yaer Variant.

  • Number range issue -urgent

    Hi ,
         We are transferring master data from one system to another system. Since there would be clash of number ranges , we want to make number range as manual ( i.e. external ) for a given master data type.
    Since we don't want to do it manually , is there some function module which can do this and again redo this .
    Regards,
    Divyanshu

    hi divyanshu,
    As Neil ,Patrick and Amit  said it would be better if u take the resource help of a Functional consultant  .
    Moving   master data from one system to another system , yeah obviously there will be a clash for number ranges if not now in future it may arise .
    Are u trying to reverse(master data) the procedure from Production data to Testing system or vice versa? U didn’t mention that whether it’s a table or whatever stuff it is .
    The process is we set define the number range in SNRO  say I defined ZXXX . The range is 000000000000001 to 999999999999999999 unique to a system .
    say I have generated 2000 numbers for a process under a ZXXX in development system , the same object now when run in Testing may be different , now in production that will vary as well this is the criteria.
    so if u r trying to move the data then u need to map the appropriate number as this may be a primary key/Foreign key in the field for some tables say Ztables if u have in this scenario.
    Function module Number_get_next   is used to generate the next number . Say like I had 10000002456 as my last number then when I want to see my next sequence then it has to start from 10000002457 so this fm does that.
    Don’t look for a Function module as of now, just check the values what u want to move , with proper fixes .
    As per rules plz don’t use the word ‘Urgent’ .
    forgot to add..
    a number range  usually is very critical as we maintain that number for a unique combination so if its a primary key then dont depend on do redo process by an fm .

  • UNDO Tablespace Issue - URGENT

    I had issues with UNDO. Here is what happened -
    SQL> alter tablespace UNDO
    2 add datafile '/oracle/TESTDB/data04/TESTDB_undo_04.db' size 100M autoextend on maxsize 10000M;
    SQL> select file_name,bytes/1024/1024 MB, maxbytes/1024/1024 MMB from dba_data_files where tablespace_name='UNDO';

    /oracle/TESTDB/data04/TESTDB_undo_04.db 100 10000
    But after some time this same query gave me this error -

  • Ajax Testing issue with e-Tester

    I'm new to using Empirix and we are using it to work with a new site that uses Ajax. I have recorded the script fine but there is an issue with the Link that needs to be clicked on that it will either always change or the index will change. I've tried to use a wild card after the number in the link that always stays the same but when I run the tests it always shows "Used secondary attribute 'index' ". Is there a way to get this to stop showing every time or get it to always use this attribute?
    Thanks,

    Hi,
    <br>There are two different issues here:
    <ol style="margin-top:0px;">
    <li> The link that will be clicked will always change or the index will change.
    <li> e-Tester is always using the secondary attribute "index"
    </ol>
    Let me issue #2 first since its easier to explain.
    <h2 style="color:navy"> e-Tester is always using the secondary attribute "index"</h2>

  • Testing issue

    Hey, I was installing gnome-network-manager from testing, and I may have stumbled upon a slight glitch, it seems that many of the files (all relating to dhclient files) are already on the system. I belive this has to do with the dhcp/dhclient packages (not sure which one, I will check when I get home) and the dhcdbd package conflicting. I will look into this further when I get home. I tried to file a bugreport, or at least sign up so that I could file a bug report if it became obvious that it was a bug (I am not sure that it is, all that is needed is that dhcp/dhclient may need to be added as a conflicting package.) In any case I just wanted to post to see if anyone else was having this problem, and to find out how to subscribe to file for Bugs.

    Hi,
    <br>There are two different issues here:
    <ol style="margin-top:0px;">
    <li> The link that will be clicked will always change or the index will change.
    <li> e-Tester is always using the secondary attribute "index"
    </ol>
    Let me issue #2 first since its easier to explain.

  • FCS2  "Something Happened" message at load, other upgrade issues URGENT

    Final cut studio has been giving me a "Something Happened" message every time I load it since after I upgraded it. What is this?? It seemed at the time that the upgrade to FCP Studio 2 installation went well...no weird messages or anything.
    I did the upgrade at the end of last year and Ive been using the software OK with three exceptions:
    1.- The FCP "Something Happened" message always appears when the OS loads...
    2.- The new COMPRESSOR wont load at all....ever! (I installed ALL upgrades frpom the web and ALSO downloaded the compressor upgrade (from Nov 07) and installed it "by hand", but to no avail.
    4.- FCP cannot render exotic effects (For example the ones that work in Motion)Final Cut pro asks me to upgrade my graphics card from the old 60 mb NVIDIA GEFORCE that came with the first system to a larger one.
    I just bought it through the net and it should be here in a couple of weeks. (I am in Nicaragua, Central America).
    I dont know what to do about the compressor (I need it urgently but dont know how to uninstall and reinstall ONLY compressor).
    My machine specs are
    Model POWER MAC 7.2
    CPU Power PC 970 (2.2)
    2 CPU Units
    Level 2 cache 512 KB
    Memory 4 GB
    Bus speed 1 GHZ
    Start ROM version 5.1.5 F0
    Serial G8429CVLPXD

    Dear Jerry
    Im very afraid of doing a full reinstall for a couple of reasons:
    1.-We dont have a reliable and FCP-savy MAC techie in Nicaragua.
    2.-I am not 100% sure I have ALL of the disks for all of the previous versions of the software
    3.- There are a lot of other things on that drive that I am afraid of losing.
    Do you have any other ideas??
    Do you think issues will be resolved when the new video card comes??
    Is there any way of installing (In the meantime) only the previous version of COMPRESSOR??
    Thanks for any help-
    Carlos

  • Installation issues - Urgent

    hi ,
    I have the following setup.
    * I have a network shared drive on which i installed Oracle 9.0.1.1 Enterprise DB. The shared drive is on a different machine, but same NT network domain. The installation went smooth without any issues. But, when i tried starting the listener i'm getting the following error.
    * The machine on which the shared folder is, has Linux installed on it.
    Failed to start service, error 65.
    TNS-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error
    TNS-00530: Protocol adapter error
    32-bit Windows Error: 65: Unknown error
    Can some one help me on this ?
    This is a very urgent need.
    thanks in advance,
    Sriram

    If you are using windows 2000, then you may want to check the account which is being used to start the listener.
    You can do this from the services window...double-click the TNS service and check the Log On tab to see who it is starting the service as...you may need to specify using "This Account".
    Also, check the SQLNET.ORA file to see if there is a line that reads:
    sqlnet.authentication_services=(NTS)
    If so, try commenting it out.
    This solved my issue using Oracle 8.1.7.

  • XMLP File Definition issue - Urgent

    Hi,
    I am getting a file definition error.
    I have created a XMLP report. Data source is PSQuery(query table populated from a peoplecode through SQL Objectusing SQLExec ).
    I have created data source, report definition , template definition(mapped the template to data source and uploaded the templates) and file definition.
    I am able to see the report in developemnt environment but when the project is migrated to testing environment , when I click on a Push button which generates the XMLP report, I am getting an error 'Get of File <name of file definition> failed".
    Please can anybody let me know what is going wrong.
    Regards,
    Ashwini.

    Hi Hemant
    I changed it to 12008, 22008 etc.. but still get the error ""Error in conversion exit CONVERSION_EXIT_PERI5_INPUT"
    Also, when I save the xls file as CSV, I get two pop-ups saying some features are not compatible and only those features that are compatible will be saved. Are these normal warnings, or could they be causing the issue?
    Also, in the infoobject, since it only consists of dates, do I need to specify conversion routine PERI5 in Infoobject properties/maintenance?
    Thanks
